I feel if we're getting a matchup between Shazam & Superman vs Black Adam, then it should be in the Shazam trilogy (part 3). I don't necessarily think we need a Black Adam 2 (not in the nearest future at least). He can appear in other movies as a major character, he could easily fit in Wonder Woman verse sef without much issues asides Shazamily.
I hear he might appear in one upcoming movie next year.


I hope his distaste for Shazam remains a rumor.

I hear from scoopers Dwayne isn't characteristically happy to be much associated with Shazam. Man just focused on facing Supes. It's actually funny cos Shazam is the character he should be more importantly focusing on.
I hear a Black Adam 2 script is already finished sef.

What leads credence to some of this is that man hasn't even acknowledged Shazam. It's more like Shazam is in a pocket universe.

I still think $150mn is more than enough to do anything they want in that movie. Aquaman was around $175mn, while Wonder Woman was $150mn.
Look at Dune's budget. If that movie could do all that visual feast for $165mn even with that humongous top A-List cast and also earning academy awards and nominations for its visuals, costume and design; then Black Adam had no reason to be as big as a tentpole DC movie. Not for a relatively unknown character and a first movie.

You expect critics to give BA a Dwayne Johnson DC flick a favourable rating when Black Panther was 3 weeks away? If Thor: Love and Nonsense could get around 60% RT score, then you'd see how bias these w@nkers can be.
Most of the reviews you'd see it's just pure vitriol and hate they spewing and not anything to do with professional criticism.

With that inconsistent rating I think critics identities should be made very public... I ain't talking about the few popular ones. So they can come and defend their opinions online.

Other DC movies also have multiple production companies working on them. In fact many movies has this. There's no inflating any budget. His production company was definitely going to join from the start. I knew that even before movie started shooting sef.

Simply put, The Rock was given too much leverage and free hand to determine how the movie go.

I like Gunn being in charge and putting him in his place. Dude was just mouthing off "The hierarchy of power is about to change" without changing the hierarchy of writers. Now I ain't even motivated to see the movie in theatres.
Johnson earned a fat pay of $30mn as an actor and would still get other gratuity since he's a producer as well.

I think they just increased the budget cos it's the Rock and assuming he'd make big bucks as well as wanting to please him. It's now clearly evident in today's era, only a top actor can't sell a movie.

His disgust for Shazam is also funny. I'm somewhat weirdly happy his movie ain't all that and he'd have to cooperate with Shazam no matter what. His priority should be facing Shazam first before Supes.

A $120-150mn budget woulda worked best. If I was in charge, that movie no fit collect pass $130mn adjusted for inflation.

If one were to nitpick it the way gullible fans and critics nitpick DCEU I don't think this movie will be having close to the high score it's having on RT.

I seriously don't know what she and Tom King were cooking but to be honest sha I don't necessarily think the regime was really serious about going forward with that movie. I think they just killed it and used a perfect excuse to quell the Snyder clamour. Cos there's no way a New Gods movie will arrive in the next 3 yrs without shouts of Snyder's involvement. Not after we've seen part of them in ZSJL.

Because if you look at it closely, GL series has been in development since 2018/19 and yet it's still in progress without yet a finished script.


JJ's own is even worse. Dude has an entire sub-franchise under lock and key without doing anything with them for 4yrs. He has rights to the entire JL DARK and not only Constantine. Zatanna, Swamp Thing, Deadman and the rest are tied to him as well as any Green Lantern project.
The man just scam WB with a lucrative deal without doing shït except Lovecraft Country.

Imagine na and if you check his slate you wouldn't see anything that has kept him occupied this long.

That guy was so good. Damn. There's also Ozila — the werey wey dey always get spiritual wife.

There's also solomonbrown who became the first writer and person on NL I'll ever follow with his Choices story. His story has kept me up since Tuesday I just dey read till midnight dey fire on (even tho I've already read the story before) it was almost as captivating as the first.
