Marvel should just rest and stop annoying comic fans. Namor came first so why are they doing all this nonsense. Now that you mentioned telepathy and flight, I'm begining to view it from another angle. There are several cases where he uses telekinesis but I can't site a single episode where he controls anything asides water.

I don't really know how they will do it but maybe we can settle on, telepathy, flight and hydrokinesis. Although in the comics he has other abilities like superhuman strength, durability, reflexes, speed, etc. But they will surely nerf him so. Also, iron heart's armour is like the size of a hulk buster, what's up with that?

First off, I'm relieved that you stated levitating rather than flying. Namor can levitate because of his ability to manipulate matter. In the comics, he frequently demonstrates his mastery of telekinesis. Your common sense should make you wonder how those chicken wings are able to carry him even if you haven't read the comics. In any case, allow me to explain.

Namor was gifted those wings (the shoes of Hermes) to provide the boost that his mind need for him to navigate the air and not hold himself back. This navigation can be compared to what we've seen with Dr Jean Grey and Wanda Maximoff. But just as Wanda doesn't levitate until she has become really adept with her telekinesis and in many editions of the comics, Jean doesn't levitate until she comes in contact with the phoenix, we find Namor holding himself back on many occasions.

It's believed that Hermes used those shoes to carry the prayers and messages of the people to the gods in heaven. It's still because of his telekinetic ability that those wings are flapping so fast. In the first trailer, Namor floods the whole of Wakanda with the waters of Atlantis, how was he able to do it?

- his mutant ability is the ability to fly
- the wings grew out of him, Hermes had nothing to do with it (or maybe I've not come across that iteration).

The wings in the trailer looked like boots rather than something that grew out of him tho and he wasn't flying like he does in the comics, hence the joke.
And I think they didn't give him the trident to avoid the already inevitable Aquaman comparisons.

What is going on with Namor? I am aware that when introducing the live action version of a fictitious comic character, it is typical to make a few alterations. However, in the instance of Namor, it appears that they left the features they were supposed to remove while removing the features they weren't supposed to.

His trident was changed to a stupid spear, and the hairline and brows that give the impression that he is about to commit evil when in reality, he is not, were removed. Then they left the chicken wings. Common. He could have his trident back or even his mutant pale skin in exchange for those chicken wings. What use do those tiny wings serve? The only thing she needs now is an army, Knight who will fight till death. Looking at the board game now, she is at advantage. All Rheanyra has now is 2 Dragons, Few Knight and we don't know what's in Daemon's ex wife palace they talked about, it's probably gold and riches to buy people's loyalty.

And you know that the best battles are won with no single bloodshed or casualties from soldiers and with no single raise of swords and arrows. Larys Strong has assassins that can kill Rheanyra if she want but she must win this war with no suspicion which we saw Alicient understood in her last conversation with Larys.
