I actually blame Carlo. starting him in those unnecessary matches. He played a complete 90 minutes against Senegal, and he started him again, if not for the injury, he could have played another complete 90 minutes. Someone who just returned from a serious injury.

Dare I say the success of squid games prompted the launch of these "death games for money" type shows.

While the swordplay was fire, the general concept didn't really do it for me based on the time in was set in, because as a sponsor I would like to see the fight sequence as it happens, instead of just eating and drinking and getting reports of it. Na just waste of funds imo.

I wish there was more fight sequence with the arrow dude Kocha Kamuyi, archers always get aura, mad aura. His fight sequence with the butcher was just beautiful.

Overall 6/10.

lol it's not even funny anymore. A sensible site, when you get banned, they actually furnish you with a reason or the specific action you did, so you don't do it next time....but here, you get banned and you keep wondering why 😩.

You suppose don know say book people are the biggest noisemakers when it comes to adaptations.

My own Koko is whether the filmmaker got the themes and characters "mostly" right and truly understand the story while giving their own interpretation in a unique way. Not too bothered about race or skin colour.

Some are hoping it flops...
But this is looking like an instant hit for me. I'm predicting nothing less than $250mn at the box office.... If it truly catches fire like I'm expecting, then we're seeing $350-450mn global gross.
