Narcos S1 - S3. (2015-2017)

I was researching drug cartels focusing on the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel and Sinaloa Cartel then i remembered I had this in library, i locked in for 3 days, and it was some of the best 72 hours spent.

Mind you, i have seen Narcos: Mexico (2018) which i liked, so i just had to indulge in the precursor. There isn't a more charismatic, perhaps more determined drug dealer in history, than Pablo Escobar, and this show did excellent justice to the character.

I would like to see the show in 2 parts.

Part 1.
This part covered S1 and S2, exploring the rise of Don Pablo, as a small time smuggler, then he discovered white powder, and it changed his life forever. Within a short while, he became arguably the richest criminal in history, influence so great that anyone sniffing at that time, was probably sniffing Don Pablo's product. He had so much money and influence, that almost everybody in Colombia was on his payroll, the few who could resist, swiftly got a bullet, he coined the term "silver or lead".

Wagner Moura as Don Pablo was such a picture perfect casting, the physical resemblance wasn't all that uncanny but he carried the same chrisma and charm..just a top shelf performance.

Part 2.
S3.After the DEA and the Colombian govt toppled Don Pablo, i was wondering where exactly they where headed with it. Then again, Don Pablo, was so narcissistic, he didn't leave a successor, and the Cali Cartel swiftly filled the void and S3 was about their rise and fall. Started slowly, but episode 5 to 10 was some high octane edge of your seat stuff that if i put my feelings into words, i might actually get a ban!

As an opening credits aficionado, this one has an unskippable one. stills and reels from the actual event with Rodrigo Amarante's "Tuyo" playing was always a delight before each new episode.

There is a reason why drug cartel wars may never end, because I don't think the demand for drugs will ever end. Apart from degenerates and addicts, some of your fave people, need drugs to actually function, till, if they are not careful, they eventually become addicts, worse still degenerates themselves... it's a vicious circle. The reward for doping, comes directly from the brain's pleasure center, that's why it's difficult to stop, The high, has been akin to nutting, albeit that the reward for nutting last just seconds, but people can be doped out for days from a single session.

Anyway, this is a proper proper show and an easy recommend

I love her milkers and I don't pretend about it. The only problem I have with most of them is lying she can't act outside of it. If she's serious about a role, Sweeney can perform really well.

That Eden I downloaded cos of her and my other babies them knack put. Anna De Armas and Vanessa Kirby. I was in 5 mins into the film but e taya me. I'll check back sometime sha, maybe I wasn't in the zone for the film.

When she did Reality for HBO. No single drop of clothes, they ignored. She now did Christy they still ignored and come here displaying their hypocrisy.

Honestly, this past few years, anytime I see someone regurgitating Sydney Sweeney doesn't have acting talent or just relies on teeetees.... I just don't take that person seriously.

Those two movies above is more than enough credibility to showcase Sydney's acting talent especially that Reality I watched.
Funny thing be say, they can't tell me she acted shit in even the Euphoria and other bwess she showcased. What of The White Lotus?

I am speaking from the POV of not seeing this particular movie but bro, i think her and her agent brought this perceived stereotype.

She really can act if she wants to, but like 80% of her roles so far, it seems she is comfortable with screen writers making her obviously gorgeous milkers, a point of reference, and you can't blame folks, if they can't see past that.

Besides the point, be real with me bro...is this your shalayè valid? Does said "milkers" really do get small screentime in the movie? because it might genuinely be the only reason i copped it, because me sitting to see a movie headline by her and fking Amanda Seyfried in big 2026, is nasty work without those obvious perks 👀😩

Was more like the continuation of Spartacus which I was never a fan but with this series I think I'm interested.

Seriously those languages used was something else I have to pay close attention to subtitles to be able to understand them.

The Housemaid (2025)....5.5/10

Before watching, I thought this was a remake of the 2010 Korean movie with the same title...but it wasn't...

It was a very predictable movie and I thought it was mid honestly. The writing felt like those amateur wattpad novels....

And i checked afterwards and it indeed is an adaptation of a novel...

Sydney Sweeney's acting her was lackluster but I don't blame her as much, the amateurish script didn't even give her anything to work with...
Even the voice overs were cringe and low effort from the leads...
The "plottwist" was predictable and cliche...

Despite all these, I don't regret watching the movie...
The side shots of Sydney Sweeney's títs were absolutely worth it
No matter how bad her acting is, I will keep watching her as long as she gives me the fanservice I want...

Yea, amazing fights in this series and that one was one of the best. The chemistry between Satyrus and that lady was very evident crowned by her yelling how she'll Bleep him that night and him shouting that he'll let her.

I couldn't even finish the first season till I lost interest. The meandering too much. Probably around 7/8 episodes I bounced. I know say the last two episodes I didn't watch.

I might just be back for Godzilla and Kong. They just shifted the attention to the humans and their prattlings I had little interest for.
I came for the monsters bro..... Give me what I effing want!! 🙄
