In my understanding, I think she was trying to scar the family and revenge with that horrific scene being etched in their memory for life. It was her attempt at traumatizing them for what they did to her.

But that end scene, kinda portrayed the family moving on with their life like nothing happened.
So, the dé@th seemed pointless to me.

But dig deep and you go see say na these new age feeding bottle horrors.... Them likes of Final Destination and The Conjuring na wetin dem go claim say dem be horror fans.

I often come across female horror fans online, the believable ones are usually Americans.
As for naija.... I've seen very few that truly like horror films but I can't really put them as seeing the darkest shït horror genre gas to offer.

Whilst most erotic romance movies these days follow the same pattern, making them cliché, I wonder how I'm just discovering this movie since all these while. This is a movie that's made off a comic book of the same title and it supercedes every other movie of the same genre I've watched, with Ask Me What You Want (2024) 🇪🇸 and the Fifty Shades franchise (2015-2018) 🇺🇸 coming a close second and third respectively.

The movie explores passionate first love, sexual awakening, class differences, personal growth, heartbreak, and artistic expression through the intense relationship between two young women.

With a run-time of 2 hours and 57 minutes, you get a premium and ample amount of entertainment and a realistic, non-exaggerated dose of cinematic flawlessness.

Adèle, the main actress who bore the same name in the movie won the Palme d'Or in 2014, making her the youngest person in history to have won that award till date (19-y-o). The movie made $19m against a budget of €4m... A solid project. Recommended! 👍🏾

Some I watch for the plot, some for the entertainment, some while scary for some people actually induce laughter, some for the themes, genre and some just to see something scary.
A good scare do some good things to the body.

I don't think anything can really scare me in horror films anymore. Maybe disgust, eeriness et all, but something to really shake me? Nah.
Maybe while I was younger. Not now.

Some are really good and top tier. Some people just hype sh!t up just cos their scare spectrum is pretty low.
Make I watch the film finish first make I see whether e go pay off unlike The Exorcist— this exorcist sef na sleep e first make me sleep earlier this year abi na late last year when I first try am. 20 minutes of snoozing.

The overall second best film I've watched this year so far is an horror film — Bring Her Back, just behind F1. So, some are gems and have way more nuance besides just being a genre horror flick. But many of these old films be like hype jare and only scary to boomers or peeps who were in their youth at the time.
