The events of JL happened in a day right? Perhaps he was just exhausted at the end and coupled with supes tremendous strength result in the beat down he received.

One thing I've noticed in Hollywood is when there is a demand for a thing, chances are high it becomes successful.

Right thinking executives would be thinking of how to give in to fan's demand with Snyder's work and at the same time make money.

WELL General Audience and Critics will disagree with you. And we can't do away with them.

Zack Snyder's Justice League: 3/4 stars.

Far better than the 2017 version, but not without it's faults.

Maybe Zack Snyder took a crash course on how to infuse heart into a movie after BvS.

And this "rightly fought for" version has got lots of it amidst the enjoyable third act combat, league members's subplot and somewhat frustrating slow mo action.

I acknowledge that not all scenes would have made the final cut: no studio would release a four hour movie in theatres mind you.

Nonetheless, a well edited three hour version of ZS's JL would have altered this D.C future we're currently living in: a directionless, panic-mode , reactionary one at that.
