Well, Venom is not bad IMO but the issue is that it isn't an MCU film that's why critics hit it hard. This is why Sony is begging for venom to be included in the MCU to avoid further panning.

If Disney wanted it to make cash, they would have put in more efforts. IMO they deliberately left it to fail.

Take note that Disney did everything possible to make CM succeed but turned a blind eye to DP. The question is why?
