As far as am concerned that bench/sit doesn't belong to you and is for public use and so u have no right to occupy more than on persons space (which I must say is even rude of u to spread your legs) neither are u supposed to seek for courtesy or manners from a patient like u to make use of the hospital facility...
its just like entering into a public bus and u have to beg people to shift for u!! for Christ sake its a public vehicle if u want convenience or comfort drive in your car
In my own opinion based on the fact that u identified her as ''a beautiful lady'' I think u have a low self esteem or inferiority complex.
That lady owed u no greeting or courtesy cos u even portrayed far more worse behaviour..

Don't mind him; because people here are praising him claiming he did the ''right thing''. Even if she didn't greet, what's bad in letting her sit? You were in a hospital for crying out loud? What if the girl had a minor mental problem or something? That bench wasn't yours, you were expecting a salute before allowing a sick person sit. What if the bench was yours? People like him, when they get rich, will be waiting for people to worship them before doing any favour! As a gentleman, can't you just overlook things and allow the 'mannerless' girl sit. She didn't show courtesy, why didn't you put her to shame by showing that courtesy?
