I've been in your shoes before ..
please don't let him know about your feelings yet else he'll distance himself from you and that will be the end of it.

Instead reduce the time you spend with him,and if he complains try and adjust back...its not easy trying to win the heart of the one you love ....
Also reduce the intimacy level. .be there for him when he needs you and also turn him down a few times when he needs the other you...*if you know what I mean*
