Well I wrote the Economics paper. 75 questions 1 hour. Out of which 15 questions came out of Development Economics which is the 1st time to my knowledge that course would come out for entrance exam.

Past questions were scantly repeate; let me say like 5 repeated questions. The rest were freshly baked from the oven...

I did my best.

i didnt wanasay anything as economics peeps just quiet for here since. . i was shocked at the crowd of economics. heard we were like 600 but the crowd i saw was like 1000 eco applicants o. 75 questions. . 1 hour. i discovered that the questions were different cos some other guys didnt ans the questions i ans and vice versa. section of Development economics came as a shock tho. Let the best man win!!!

You just hit the nail on the head. The combo is appealing. The only issue I just see ahead is the financial implication of Msc Finance at Unilag. I don't know much about the programme myself, but I see it involving less abstract math and Econometrics than pure Economics.

@U1 am also looking at it from d aspect dat.. Unilag shld have financial economics as specializaion nau. like petroleum economics or development economics. . am not sure. i dont knw if there are specialisation like dat at unilag. so I can do financial economics. aspect of finance too. pls Kalan is there specialisation in Economics dept?

@U1 u are trying to apply for Finance. am a graduate of economics too. finance and Economics is a veru good and powerful combination in d labor market. am thinking of applying to m.sc finance instead of economics. but i need to knw what am getting into. i guess i still need to be convinced. plus is it easier to get into finance dan economics admission?
