I no be telecoms engineer, the thing about the ping you get from the ISP's here at times might not be right... The network latency of Airtel on fast. Com and ookla Speedtest today differed, the first showed me 200ms the other showed me 39ms... Well you might be having the best download and upload speed, but if the server you are sending request to is very far let's say Europe, it takes a very long time to get a resultant packet thereby translating to a higher ping.....

You can use your CMD and ping a particular URL or IP address to see the amount of time taken for your packet to complete the round trip and the amount of packet lost, or better still get Wireshark and monitor your packets

All you need to know is that... it doesn't take much. If you use data enough to notice your download speed then the data consumption should be the least of your worries

'it doesn't take much' is relative to the person's budget

How much mb does it consume per hour? I have around 400KBps download speed and 50 ping. My laptop specs can run it at 60fps.
