Am into I.T networking, hardware , servers especially windows etc, now i want to go into programming( starting with c# n asp.net).
My question is can i study with interactive software and end up becoming good or i need to enroll in a training school like firstlog to run d training?
Also if u have any advise generally of what i need to do to learn faster and stabilize on time kindly help me, cos the highest i give my self for this career part to start attempting projects on my own is 3months.
Is this possible?

Pls help. My wife and i are a young couple struggling to make ends meet. I work somewhere with a fairly okay salary but my wife is still a part- timestudent. I have managed to save about N250,000 to setup a small biz for her to manage to support me which she is very much interested in too.
But the challenge here is that we dont really know what kind of biz to venture into. Am into I.T with vested interest in it. But she suggested we go into selling raw foods like rice, beans etc first based on retail and later we consider wholesale too. Although she has gone to gather d necessary info about the biz from some of her customers, I will appreciate your own advise or suggestions on the type of biz you think will be lucrative around here. Or do you think there is a future for these biz she suggested?
We stay around surulere in Lagos.

Look there is no perfect system anywhere in the world. There are many churches out there that dont over do most things as painted above. Dont allow a few or some to make u generalize.
however like i said above its a free world. there are many regions in th world and its not by force u can choose any u think will be 100%  pure and follow. u can choose islam and die of terrorist attack soon or u choose any other one or better still dont worship anything. thats ur choice. But never u think there will ever be a concept or doctrine without adulteration. the most important thing is in any doctrine u find urself make sure u really understand it  and be sure there is any truth in it so that when it begins to derail u will know and decide weda u still want to follow or not.

Am an IT head in a service delivery company here in lagos-Nigeria, just about 20% of our computers are clones earlier bought some years ago. I do not trust the software(OS and Ms Office) used in those ones as the remaining 80% are sure using original software with licences bought in later years and even recently.
I just got a letter from Microsoft Nigeria notifying me of their intended visit next week to come and ensure that the software we are using are licenced and original. And they attached a form along with the letter asking us to fill in their products we are currently using and their details and return to them on or b4 a particular date next week.
Please Nldrs, what is the implication of this their visit? what do we stand to risk from it and what is the way forward. Your advise will be highly appreciated.

Well to me , Yar Dua is a living harmless and non active ghost i dont expect anything from him cos there is no govt as far as am concern right now in nigeria, same thing will happen if he still rigs his way into 20011 again. in short i have just told myself that after all his delay and ransome thatt he has trapped d country down all this while, we will begin to pray to God for a govt in nigeria.
Let him do whatever he feels like.

Guyz, i ve being in ICT arena for over 4 yrs now, but ve not met with this kind of problem b4. right now am in my village far away from lagos where i base only for my elder brother to bring a laptop sent to him by our uncle in Italy which everything in it is in Italian. i ve tried all my best to change it but i cant due to d fact that i dont understand Italian.
I even tried formatting and reloading it but every effort seems abortive. pls help me out
cos my brother wouldnt let me go without fixing this problem.

please how do i block access to some website on the network from my server or any point on the network. some of these sites which are browsed indescriminately in my office are not safe. Most of these sites are harmful to our internet operations. Please help me out. am using win server 2003 as a domain controller over about 50 clients. help.
