Not gonna lie, as much as I hate to admit it, the wackier parts of WWE programming are starting to trickle down into NXT's programming. They've been having subpart segments and the build up to Takeovers haven't been feeling as hot as they used to.

Lack of crowd-ish

Being just another WWE programming hence losing one of their defining traits as being antithetical to the main program

Emergence of AEW and the so-called 'wednesday night war' shifted a lot of eyes off them

As much as I hate to say it, their main event scene is stagnant as balor's reign has not really lived up to par

They need another gargano Vs ciampa blood feud to bring eyes, but unfortunately none of their newer wrestlers has been able to bring that level of intensity nor has the ability to.
