pu7pl3:You like Roderick Strong? I mean he's a great in-ring competitor but, to me, he has zero personality.
And on Bobby, I'm wondering the same thing, especially how he'll factor in on his return.
But most of all, I really wish all this was happening in front of a live audience.

yea he isn't as savvy as the rest but I love him nonetheless...he can also have personality(his NXT world title feud with Bobby Roode comes to mind) one of the best feuds on NXT for the NXT title..
If Cole kicked O'Reilly in front of a fully packed stadium eh the roof would have broken tbh

pu7pl3:Hadn't started following NXT by this time. My first NXT program was Brooklyn III where Roode loses his title to Drew.
If Cole kicked O'Reilly in front of a fully packed stadium eh the roof would have broken tbhI'm telling you. The madness, the screams, the reactions. 'Rona has sha robbed us of a lotta moments.

Randy Orton will win the WWE Championship again at Elimination Chamber. Amen.
Edge will decide to face the WWE Champion at WrestleMania. And not the NXT Champion or Universal Champion. Amen

WWE Smackdown reviews recaps and reactions
It’s so great to see Edge back.
While I have consistently complained about the usage of part timers and older stars from yesteryear, WWE is getting it so right with Edge.
I know many have said that it didn’t make sense for Edge to win the Royal Rumble, but because he was unable to go on his own terms the first time around, I feel like this is much deserved. He is allowed one last run, even if its not to win the title, but to chase it.
The best thing about both Raw and SmackDown right now is that there isn’t just one viable person for the top titles, on the men’s side at least. But I have been getting more on board with Edge vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
And this show only added fuel to the fire
Spear vs. spear
Edge had the smartest summary of Roman Reigns at the moment
Reigns’ ego is fragile because he knows that in order to get the true main event slot at WrestleMania, Edge has to pick him. Reigns came out and Edge said he knows he’s already under his skin because he lost his cool last week.
Then Sami Zayn came out because he has a death wish. Instead of getting speared, he got superkicked by Jey Uso for talking too much. Thanks, Jey!
I am loving Edge’s use on this show. He’s putting over everyone as viable contenders to main event WrestleMania with him. He also has gotten Roman to crack for the first time. It’s so great.
For the main event, Cesaro’s swinging was really fun, particularly the swing to Corbin but then all three heels isolated him from his tag partners. A whole bunch of stuff happened, notably Owens never getting tagged in, and then Bryan did the double underhook superplex off the top rope into a Yes Lock to get Sami Zayn to tap out.
Corbin then attacked Bryan, Owens gave him a stunner, Zayn to Owens, Cesaro to Zayn, Uso to Cesaro, and then Edge speared Jey. Surprise! Roman speared Edge to close the show.
As I said in my opening remarks, I am getting more sold on Roman vs. Edge at WrestleMania more and more. It really makes a lot of sense here. As for Elimination Chamber, so many options makes sense, because we know Reigns will be the champion coming out of it.
Every bit of this is phenomenal.
Before the match, Big E came to commentary and said that he’s beaten Crews three times in six week, so he doesn’t see picking him again for another Intercontinental title shot.
In the back, Apollo talked about how E was intimidated by him, and if he took the time to get to know him, and his Nigerian royal heritage (this is so cool) E would have had his tongue cut for the way he spoke last week. My goodness the character they’re finally allowing Crews to have.
Crews went for a military press and Nakamura reversed it and got the win and Crews lost it. He attacked Nakamura and E got in front of him to prevent the steel steps spot. Then E made the stupid move of turning his back. And then WWE used smart camera tricks and showed Apollo drop the steps on him.
Y’all, this is incredible. Apollo doesn’t deserve another title shot, but he’s definitely going to get it. It definitely won’t be a singles match, though. A triple threat for the pay-per-view would be great.
Use the door!
So… this was quite a segment that led to quite a match.
Ding Dong! Hello! had its great 90’s talk show feel with Aunt Bayley and this week, she had a large amount of interrupting guests. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler were out first and did the both going through the door spot. Bayley thanked them for being troopers and going on all three WWE shows and then talked down about both Sasha and Bianca Belair.
Reginald then came out and stanned for Sasha. Then Sasha came out and said she’s the top of the division. Then Bianca came out to put Sasha in check. Reggie said “hey, let’s all have a match together” and on it went.
Bayley and ShaNia worked Banks over and kept her isolated in their corner. Then Reginald tagged in and Nia said she’s “EXPENSIVE, wine boy!” and I laughed out loud. She knocked Reginald about, and then Banks and Belair took out Baszler. Then they kicked Nia as Reggie was on her and he pinned her to win.
So… not a great few weeks for Nia, huh? This was a bit of a head scratcher because I don’t know where this Sasha and Reginald thing is going. Where’s Carmella? Turns out she was just chilling in the back waiting for wine. Supposedly he’s supposed to “do the right thing” whatever that means.
They’re also using Reginald’s win to give Sasha and Bianca a women’s tag title shot at Elimination Chamber. That’s… a decision. Aren’t there enough women’s tag teams that could have this spot?
Seth Rollins threw to a video of like almost his entire segment from last week. He said he knows a thing or two about being betrayed (because Big E was stretchered out), and that he has emotional trauma and it’s unacceptable. He and his lawyers have drafted a complaint. He then said that he has millions of followers and that Cesaro is a loser. Clearly they’re going to be doing Cesaro and Rollins which pretty much gives away that Cesaro isn’t winning at Elimination Chamber. We already knew that anyway so it doesn’t bother me.
Alpha Academy vs. The Mysterios ended in a disqualification
Gable and Dom had some mat work, and then Otis tagged in and ran through him. Well basically this was super quick and Otis turned heel. Intrigued to see where this goes.
Tamina and Natalya defeated The Riott Squad
Ruby Riott was rocked immediately and tagged in Morgan. Tamina was showing some nice fire and strength in this match. Natalya charged Morgan into the corner but Liv and Ruby got the better of her. A double team effort got the Riott Squad a near fall. And then Billie Kay came out and it once again distracted the babyfaces because that’s what happens. Tamina got the win for the heel team, and then when Billie tried celebrating with them, Tamina superkicked her. Hey, I can’t fault them. They know what happens if Billie thinks she’s your friend. They’re doing the Riott Squad dirty. Do not like this

WWE Elimination chamber reviews recaps and reactions
I enjoyed much of this show, so I am not as upset as I would probably be if most of the show was booked like Raw.
Miz is the WWE champion. Party like it’s 2010, y’all!
The decisions that were made leading up to that moment, as well as a decision made to aid that moment, didn’t make a lot of sense but il take it .... And AJ Styles looked like the biggest idiot in all of this.
The classic heel thing during these matches is the heel doesn’t come out of their pod. They hold their door (which we even saw on this show!), they escape somehow, they try everything in their power to not get in the match. Here Styles was begging to get in early. Why? One dude was gone, and one dude still was waiting in a pod!
That whole thing was dumb. The end of the show was also dumb, but we’ll get into that in a moment.
Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy started off this Elimination Chamber match.
Standard and not really interesting stuff, and then McIntyre’s pod opened and he bulldozed through the two men. McIntyre sent Hardy head first into Kingston’s pod and then Orton took control. Out came Kingston to renew the rivalry with Orton, and then we had quite a bit of tomfoolery.
So Kingston ended up pinning Orton, who then went crazy and RKO’d him and Hardy. Styles was in his pod begging Omos to get him out. Omos ripped the plexiglas off the pod and Styles met Orton at the Chamber door. Styles then went and covered the two men RKO’d and… this was okay? He didn’t need his own countdown? I don’t recall this ever happening in an Elimination Chamber match in the past 8 years.
McIntyre and Kingston went all around the Chamber with a vicious suplex into the chains and to the floor. McIntyre worked over Styles and then Hardy and couldn’t get a pin on either of them. Sheamus finally entered and he and McIntyre brawled. Kofi dove onto them to take them out and climbed up on a pod. Sheamus went after him and McIntyre went after Sheamus.
Kofi dove off of the pod and took everyone out, but couldn’t get a singular pinfall. But Sheamus Brogue Kicked him and eliminated him. Eh. Hardy went up to a pod and dove off to Drew and Sheamus. He tried to take out Styles and turned into a Claymore and bye Jeff.
McIntyre went to Claymore Sheamus but he got Brogue Kicked, Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm and eliminated Sheamus. Styles went for another one and Drew Claymored him mid-air. Pretty cool moment and finish.
And then Bobby Lashley destroyed McIntyre, and looked to the ramp. Miz’s music hit. (Miz and MVP were shown before this match backstage talking.) Miz cashed in… successfully. Successfully.
Wow. This was a decent match but some decisions were certainly head scratchers. Jeff Hardy was nearly useless in this match and chilled out for a big chunk before his elimination. Styles getting to just insert himself without his pod opening? I mean… sure but why don’t other people do that? I’m not going to get into it again. I did not like Kofi getting eliminated before Jeff. Again, Jeff did virtually nothing in this match besides start with Orton and a short sprint.
Sheamus won a match on Raw to be the last dude in, and that didn’t really amount to anything because only one of those dudes was eliminated by the time his pod door opened. Just… a bunch of odd decisions here. Thank God the rest of this show was great to good, otherwise I would have ended really sour.
The big question I have coming out of this - why would MVP make Bobby Lashley of all people help Miz after his US Title loss? I couldn’t tell you what it was, unless it somehow was to benefit Lashley. Hey… maybe this… is to benefit Lashley? Maybe on the next Raw? That would also mean Lashley lost the US title on purpose
I did not expect to see Daniel Bryan and Cesaro starting things off.
They traded uppercuts and Cesaro was sent out of the ring and slapped his head right on the chains of the Chamber. Bryan went for a running knee and Cesaro had a great clothesline to counter. He worked over Bryan’s knee and then got out of an arm bar.
Corbin was out next and bulldozed over both men. He did a Deep Six to both men and tried pinning both to no avail. Corbin slammed Bryan’s knee into Jey Uso’s pod and twisted it around the ring post. Sami Zayn prevented his door from closing but the door opened on the other side and Cesaro manhandled him around the pod.
Cesaro and Zayn were up on top of Jey’s pod and they scaled the chamber, until Cesaro knocked Zayn down. Corbin tried to tackle out Cesaro but Cesaro swung him and made him tap out with the sharpshooter. Owens was next and of course Zayn tried to make him partner up, but nope. Zayn did BITE HIS ARM THOUGH hahaha and Owens super kicked him for it.
Owens did the cannon ball to the three men and everyone finisher spammed without a pinfall. But then it was Jey’s turn and Owens was focused on him. Owens went up to a pod and moonsaulted off to the other four men. Stunner eliminated Zayn. Jey slammed the Chamber door on Owens’ arm and superkick partied him. He actually pinned Owens! (My prediction just went out the window)
Bryan and Cesaro went back at it for a fun few minutes, and then Jey eliminated Cesaro and got a near fall on Bryan. Jey went up to a pod and tried a splash again but Bryan got his knees up and executed a running knee to win!
Wasting no time at all, Reigns’ music hit and he was walking down the ramp, shirt off and ready to fight. Bryan pulled himself up and Reigns went to spear him and Bryan did a surprise Yes Lock. Reigns did not appreciate that. Guillotine locked in and the referee called for the bell.
AND THEN SURPRISE SPEAR! Edge speared outtanowhere and pointed to the WrestleMania sign.
Edge vs. Roman Reigns for WrestleMania. It was the most likely scenario, and I’m all on board. It’s new. Unique. Special. It’s going to be a wild ride.
Well it’s a good thing they showed us how John Morrison got here because I’m not a pre-show guy. Poor Ricochet.
Lashley went right for Riddle and then Morrison. My God Lashley just ethered both men and nearly took out the referee at one point. Riddle tried to sneak attack and Lashley just dumped him on the floor.
Riddle and Morrison decided to work together, and even that didn’t work. Holy shit. Riddle took Lashley out of the ring and Morrison dove onto him, and then Riddle dove onto him. Morrison tried to take out Riddle and both men wore each other down.
Morrison thought he was going to get to use MVP’s crutch on Lashley, but Lashley locked in the Hurt Lock and Riddle grabbed that crutch and snapped it on Lashley’s back. Owwwww. Riddle pinned Morrison to win.
Lashley had such a dominating performance so of course the weapon would take him out here. First time title win for Riddle, who’s been marred with controversy since joining the main roster. This match was really fun and it’s much better to have had Morrison here instead of Keith Lee. Bobby Lashley lost it after the match and I have absolutely loved his presentation here, and just in general as of late.
And let’s see what they’ll be doing with him in the very near future.
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defeated Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks
Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks took out Jax, and then Belair dominated Baszler. Jax and Baszler started working Banks in their corner and Baszler did her classic arm work on Banks. Oh my God it looked brutal. Sasha really can sell this well too so it looked even more brutal. Jax tagged back in and worked over the same arm. Baszler back and Banks kept trying to pin her and did a nice backslide for a near fall. Banks did a frog splash for a near fall. Belair did the Kiss of Death and then Jax pulled her out at the 2 count. Reginald came out with champagne and tossed the bottle to Sasha, and Jax took advantage of it for the win.
This was my least favorite match, really because I’m getting tired of this Reginald stuff with Sasha. Carmella needs to fire this dude already. If there’s a plan here, I couldn’t tell you what it is. If Carmella had Reggie pulling off this distraction to make Sasha lose, okay, but that is a contrast to what happened on SmackDown. I don’t know, I just want this extended Carmella feud over with.
No Raw Women’s championship match
The Raw Women’s title has had the most awful booking for many months, and I feel really bad for Asuka. Asuka’s a great all around character and person. What the hell are they doing? Lacey Evans is pregnant, and even with that news, they were advertising the match up to I believe yesterday. So they just… drop it. K. How about instead, here me out, book an actual match? They did a qualifier to replace Keith Lee on the pre-show. Why not one for the Women’s title? Stupid.

WWE Raw Reviews recaps and reactions
They started with the Hurt buisness plan on this show, aaaaand then shenanigans and bait and switch galore. Braun Strowman has to be involved, Shane McMahon has to be involved, and now Bobby has to fight to get what he’s owed.
Oh and now Bobby will face Miz next week. Only problem is - this is wrestling. You know what’s happening next week. More bait and switch! Someone’s interfering. They have to drag it out and extend it to Fastlane.
So if you want to have the match at Fastlane, just… announce it for Fastlane. But what will they do if they don’t do bait and switch, interferences, and disqualifications? That’s just the easy and lazy way of doing it. Bleh.
Bobby Lashley is my WWE champion (so sorry Miz)
WWE Champion Miz came out to start Raw.
He talked about how people thought he would be fired within three months in WWE 16 years ago. Name dropped Batista, Cena, Rock, and Bobby Lashley as not up to his longevity. Then MVP and Lashley came out and MVP mentioned the deal they cut last night. Miz tried weaseling his way out of it and Lashley gave him an hour to make his decision.
This was easily Bobby Lashley’s best promo since returning to WWE. To be honest, I’d totally watch the “How Lashley sent me to the Emergency Room” reality show. Did you SEE that suit? My God, y’all. As soon as he walked out I said “that’s MY WWE Champion!” (sorry again Miz) Dude looked incredible.
By the way, Miz’s “side plates” were the generic WWE side plates that come with the main titles just reversed to look like M’s. That’s pretty brilliant.
Then it was time for Miz to reveal his decision, to which he just decided he needed more time. Lashley didn’t like that, but neither did Braun Strowman because he decided to come out. He tried to strong arm Adam Pearce into a title match for himself, but then Shane McMahon came out and said that if he beats Lashley later, he’ll get added to the title match next week.
Lashley and Strowman hossed it up and beat the crap out of each other. Lashley tried to get the Hurt Lock in but couldn’t due to ya know… It’s Strowman. Strowman was able to get Lashley in the powerslam and Lashley kicked out. Lashley speared Strowman and won. Miz tried to attack and got chokeslammed and speared for his troubles.
A great and dominant performance by Lashley, and I already know what’s happening next week. As an evil rich bastard would say, there’s “no chance in hell” Lashley is walking out next week with the title. He doesn’t have Braun in the match, but that doesn’t mean Braun won’t be there! Also, Drew was nowhere this week so you can bet he’ll likely show up next week as well.
This is predictable, and not the good kind.
The greatest pairing in modern history
Bad Bunny and Damian Priest were backstage and Priest saw Truth in a corner with a referee.
Truth tried playing it off, and then said “my bad, Bunny” which made me howl. The funniest I’ve felt Truth had been in months.
Priest clotheslined Garza and got a near fall immediately. Garza ripped off his pants and threw them at Bunny. How dare he. Garza drop kicked Priest in the face and started taunting Bad Bunny.
Garza was wearing Priest down, but he looked like he was almost enjoying the pain with his facial expression. But my God is he vicious when he is angry. I thought the match was going to be over pretty quick, but they were setting up a Garza/Bunny face-off and not of the Travolta/Cage type. Priest took advantage of the distraction and got the victory.
Then some 24/7 familiar faces ran down to the ring and Priest took out two of them, while Bunny threw Gulak over the top rope.
Yeah, I don’t want Bad Bunny off my television screen any time soon. The 24/7 title is at its most prestigious, and probably will never reach this status again when it eventually comes off the star.
Unless like… I don’t know Beyonce or Taylor Swift come in and wins it.
Is Randy Orton okay?
Look this was a wild promo where Orton was just talking about being distracted.
Not distracted by The Fiend, no, distracted by Alexa Bliss. Orton threw to a video package of Bliss in her Fiend revival from last week.
And then the blood came.
What made this epic was actually the announcers reaction when they cut to ringside. HOWLED, y’all. That shit was hilarious.
Riddle defeated John Morrison
Morrison went for a standing shooting star press, and Riddle ducked it for a triangle submission. Gut wrench suplex to Riddle couldn’t put him away. Morrison had this nasty submission but then they spilled outside and Morrison’s knee looked like it gave out. Riddle suplexed Morrison on the hardest part of the ring. Riddle has great sprints in his matches where every movement matters. Morrison’s Spanish Fly got him a near fall, but he fell to a Bro Derek. Morrison and Riddle have great ring chemistry with each other.
New Day defeated RETRIBUTION
T-Bar started off with Woods and Woods didn’t get much offense. Mace and Kingston took charge and had the same result. Mace and T-Bar double chokeslammed Kingston, and then Ali tried to get them to do it again but he hit Trouble in Paradise on both men and got the pin on T-Bar. Ali got the mic after and berated the group for failing him time and time again. Interested to see where this goes. To be honest I wouldn’t mind Ali dropping one of more of these members and recruited one or two new ones?
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defeated Charlotte Flair and Asuka
Asuka started with Baszler and you could just see Flair in their corner totally out of it. They were able to double team the champions and it started to look like she was snapping out of it. Baszler was torturing Asuka twisting her arm and Jax continued the hurting. Flair finally got tagged in again and got some offense in on both women. They were able to isolate Charlotte but she fought back and Charlotte had a figure four on Baszler broken up by Jax. Flair tagged Asuka and cleared house but shenanigans ensued. Asuka got kicked in the head by Flair and lost the match. I thought Charlotte was finally turning on her “friend” but they’re teasing Asuka turning. No please.
Charlotte saw her father backstage and they did serious damage control on that whole thing by making it clear Ric is not the father and he was just doing Ric Flair things last week. He said he wanted to elevate the women’s division by being behind the Raw women’s title picture and Charlotte had a decent promo telling him to go home and that she wants to be on her own.
AJ Styles defeated Ricochet
Ricochet was lit on fire to start this match. Styles’ snap suplex in the corner looked nasty. Ricochet is a great seller. Ric got mad and beat up on Styles but Styles hit him in the throat. He got hit in the face and then got put in a Styles Clash and my God the selling of all of this was incredible. Omos grabbed Ricochet’s limp body and picked him up real high and dropped him. Man Ricochet is incredible. That blue gear too… *chef’s kiss* Quick win for Styles and strong showing for Omos. I just have to accept that this is what Ricochet’s WWE career will be.
The Hurt Business defeated Lucha House Party
We had a tornado tag this time around, which was good for continuing to sow the seeds of dissension when MVP was trying to get them focused. LHP almost pinned Benjamin but Alexander was playing around and making MVP upset. Benjamin ended up hitting pay dirt to win. Because they won, MVP lost his annoyed demeanor when they won, but we all know they’ll continue this storyline.
Sheamus defeated Jeff Hardy
Sheamus did Sheamus things. Jeff Hardy did Jeff Hardy things. This isn’t a slight on both performers. This match just got the “Drew’s attention has officially wandered elsewhere” treatment. I’ve seen this TOO MANY TIMES.
