Ekene Ijemba also known as HumbleSmith opened up in an interview with 360jamng that he used to hawk moi-moi on the streets to raise money for the family and also pay fees. He also revealed that God was the inspiration behind his hit song Osinachi . The singer also admitted that his collabo with Davido was a big break for him in the musical industry.

Davido, is becoming something else

For the fans, all of these are good. The wait for the album might be a bummer, but in
the end, you get rewarded with both pride and quality.
Davido’s album will not be out this year . Heck, it might not even be out next year .
The singer who many had tipped to drop an
album in 2015, delayed it with hints of a pending international deal in place concerning the album. That deal came this year, with Sony Music group being the culprits. They breezed in with a contract, invited the star to New York where he signed up to release two albums to be distributed worldwide by the star. The singer would have to rework on what he already has in store and create something more fitting to the market.
There’s a selfish general air and feeling
amongst fans, that where Davido and Sony
Music got into bed and exchanged art for
money, the fans, who would have clasped their
hands in anticipation of another Davido album
were the ones who suffered a loss. They were
mostly ignored while Davido signed up a sweet deal for his pockets. That feeling is somewhat similar to being played out of an agreement between two business partners. It’s an ugly
feeling that lingers for a while in your gut. You
got played out son. You lost.
While this feeling may persist, fans can take another approach. They can look on the bright side of the affair and see the silver lining.
While Davido might appear to have sealed a
deal that prolonged the release of his material, he just might have done it for the
fans . We all lament the limitations of Nigerian music, and how penetration of our local sounds to different cultures have been stunted. But a deal like this means our music is heard internationally on a larger scale.
Davido’s music has the ability and power to
meld with numerous heterogeneous societies, and introduce the Nigerian way.
Then there’s the quality of music. Davido’s deal with Sony required that he hit the studio and
remake the album. Sony Music Entertainment, a global franchise will require lofty global standards of music that will ensure that a get a return on investment. This means the HKN
singer will have to put his best sonic foot
forward and create an album that is nothing short of a classic. The album will be heavily padded in quality to satisfy the music giants and only then will it be released.
Such an album takes time. Such a project will require time to create and immense effort to put together. Ensuring this happens from the Sony end will be Efe Ogbeni who facilitated the deal, and works with Sony/ATV. He will be the executive producer of the album .
For the fans, all of these are good. The wait for the album might be a bummer, but in the end, you get rewarded with both pride and quality . That’s a better win than any gain that would have come without Sony.

Sunmbo ‘Ajaba’ Adeoye, one of Innocent Tuface Idibia’s baby mamas has revealed how she felt when the music star proposed to Annie Macaulay, back in 2012, on Valentines day.
While speaking at a single parents forum at her husband’s
church -Royalty Christian Centre, Sunmbo said she wasn’t
really bothered about the situation especially because she had a fore knowledge of it.
She said:
“I remember the day when my baby daddy proposed to his girlfriend, I was on the list of those that will take praise in church for that Wednesday… well I had known what was going on but it didn’t affect me because I had known what I want, so I had let go of that choice for God’s will for me.”
“So I came to church, I was leading the praise session and everyone was just looking at me with pity eyes like ‘omo yi o mo nkan ti on sele (this girl doesn’t know what’s going on o).”
“After service, one sister even came to me and said it is well and in my mind, I am like what happened, did somebody die?. The person felt I was faking that I wasn’t hurt by the proposal but she and the others didn’t know I had been healed by God for my own expected end.”

Sunmbo is happily married to Pastor David Adeoye. She is also a Pastor and an event entrepreneur.

Femi Fani-Kayode and his woman, Precious Chikwendu, welcomed their first child a few weeks ago and he was christened, Joshua Oluwafemi Emmanuel Lotanna Aragorn Fani-Kayode. The child whom happens to be FFK’s first son has met with his dad’s former employer, Former President Goodluck Jonathan.
