Woman names her dog Lai Mohammed
Now let the arrest begin. Lol. After the report of a man who named his dog Buhari, was arrestetd. A Nigerian woman has followed suit by naming her own dog after minister of Information, Lai Mohammed.


Ada Ogbonna said she decided to name her dog ‘Lai Mohammed’ because she admired the minister.

She wrote on her Facebook page: “I named it after someone I admired. I wonder why that other man got arrested for naming his dog after a look alike” Lol.

This boy is Igbo by tribe, he was caught today with a baby in Gboko Benue State. Information has it that the man had kidnapped the baby from the mother and was on his way to the east before he was caught in Benue links park and was brutally beaten and set ablaze at Bristow round about by angry mobs.. These are weapons recovered from kidnappers this morning at Ikpayongo area of Benue State. There are from kidnappers terrorizing Innocent Benue citizens. One was not however lucky as he was consumed by the superior fire power of the law enforcement agents.

The Rivers State Election Petition Tribunal has sacked Nyesom Wike as the Governor of Rivers State.
The tribunal, which delivered its ruling in Abuja on Saturday, also ordered that a fresh governorship election be conducted in the state.

The petition challenging the election of Mr. Wike as Rivers State Governor was filed by Dakuku Peterside, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the election.
The Rivers governorship election, which was criticised by local and international observers, witnessed the largest amount of violence both in its build-up and after the elections.

A quickie is great every once in a while, but if it becomes a regular thing to skip pre-intimacy and jump right to the climax, she’s probably a little more interested in the release than in you. Good s*x is like good food: you savor and enjoy what tastes good but you rush through a meal that’s only purpose is to nourish you.
3. She doesn’t care if she doesn’t climax.

Do you need a hint bigger than this one? “Suzy and Tom have s*x three times a week and she orgasms every time!” It’s the same as when she drop hints about what her friends’ husbands bought them for their birthdays right about the time that hers rolls around. 8. She suggests changing it up in the bedroom.
People make suggestions when they want to make things better so if she’s coming to you with new ideas, it might be because she is not fully satisfied with what you are offering her now. Listen to her!
9. She seems preoccupied.
If you two are going at it and her mind seems elsewhere, chances are it’s because she isn’t enjoying herself. It’s like sitting through a lecture. “I showed up but I’m really bored and I’m thinking about everything except being here, and I’m trying to stay awake…” If she isn’t engaged in the moment, it’s because you aren’t offering enough to make her want to pay attention.

A former Secretary to Government of the Federation, Olu Falae, on Monday confessed that his family paid ransom to his abductors before he was freed on Thursday.

He said the kidnappers only freed him after they received payment, adding that he trekked for 15 kilometres before he was picked up by the police in Owo, several kilometres from Akure, the Ondo State capital.

The former minister’s disclosure has put a lie to the claim by the Nigeria police that no ransom was paid before his release.

Details of Mr. Falae’s speech today will come shortly.

Mr. Falae was released Thursday, four days after he was abducted by unknown gunmen.

The Ondo Police Public Relations Officer, Wole Ogodo, who confirmed his release on Thursday, said no ransom was paid for the release.

Mr. Falae’s abductors had demanded N100million ransom for his release, later reducing it to N90million.

Force Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Kolawole, also said in a statement Thursday night that the former minister was rescued after the Force launched aerial and land operations in search of the kidnappers.

She said the rescue operation, which began on Monday, the day the Afenifere chieftain was abducted, took the search party to all parts of Ondo state.

He said Mr. Falae was eventually rescued in Owo.

The chieftain of the Pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere and National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, was abducted last Monday at his Ilado farm along Igbatoro Road, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Between 2013 and 2014, the management of the National Assembly (NASS) awarded various contracts in excess of N800 million and N400 million respectively for the upgrade, renovation and provision of services to the properties sold in 2011 to the former Senate President David Mark and his Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu.

Daily Trust recalls that the FGN official Gazette No. 82, Vol. 92 of 15th August 2005 approved guidelines for the sales of FGN Houses in FCT to career public servant exempted the houses of the Senate President and Deputy Senate President and that of the Speaker as well as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Reps amongst others not to be sold for constitutional, statutory and administrative reasons.

However, in a dramatic twist, the then FCT Minister Bala Mohammed on with October, 2010 in a letter requested the then President, Dr. Good luck Jonathan to grant approval for the houses occupied by the leading principal officers of the NASS to be delisted from the list of essential properties and be sold to their present occupants. This was approved by the then President on 15th, November, 2010.

The Senate President house was valued at N748 million, Speaker House of RepsN670 Million, Deputy Senate President’s was valued at N458 Million while that of the Deputy Speaker, House of Reps was valued at N348 Million. The offer letter dated 30th, November 2010 was signed by Bala Mohammed and was issued to the principal officers of the NASS.
Unconfirmed report however said that despite the houses offered to them at cost, the Senate President and his Deputy, allegedly ignored the valuation and paid less than N60 million each for the properties.

The houses situated at No. 1 Musa Usman Street, Guru App, Abuja FCT was offered to the past Senate President which he accepted and paid via third party RTGS transfer 21 April 2011 from an account domiciled in First Inland Bank account to an account in Oceanic Bank belonging to ADO- HOC committee on sales of FGN Houses in Abuja.
The house situated at No. 2, Jim Nwobodo Street, Guru App, Abuja FCT was offered to the past Deputy Senate President who accepted the offer December 7, 2010 and paid via RTGS transfer on April 14, 2011 from an account domiciled in Zenith Bank account to an account in Oceanic Bank......

According to Premium Times-The Nigerian Army on Sunday said scores of members of the Boko Haram insurgent group have surrendered their arms.

In a statement by its spokesperson, Sani Usman, the army said the insurgents began surrendering when they realised that the ‘new strategies’ being deployed by soldiers was becoming successful.
“The new strategies employed included sustained offensive operations, pre-emptive air strikes by the Nigerian Airforce and routes blocking by ground troops all geared towards constricting and snuffing out the Boko Haram terrorists,” the Army said.
The Army’s new offensive, tagged’ Operation Lafiya Dole’, followed the appointment of Tukur Buratai, a Lieutenant General, as the Chief of Army Staff by President Muhammadu Buhari.
PREMIUM TIMES reported how Mr. Buratai, an indigene of Borno, last week visited Gamboru, a border town between Nigeria and Cameroon, which was recently retaken from the insurgents. The Army chief stayed the night there, fraternized with soldiers on the field, and pledged not to lose any territory to the terrorists whose insurgency has caused the death of about 20,000 people since 2009.

The new strategies employed included sustained offensive operations, pre-emptive air strikes by the Nigerian Airforce and routes blocking by ground troops all geared towards constricting and snuffing out the Boko Haram terrorists.
Many of the terrorists that willingly surrendered painted images of mass panic and hysteria among their erstwhile colleagues who are feeling the noose tightening on their necks with the relentless efforts of troops and renewed vigour in operations inspired by the personal leadership of the Chief of Army Staff.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, has hinted of President Muhammadu Buhari’s plan to prune down the number of federal ministries from the current 42 to 19.

The reduction of federal ministries was part of the recommendation of the Alhaji Ahmed Joda transition committee.
Shehu, who made the intention of his principal known to Daily Trust, stated that the President believes the reduction would save cost of governance and ensure proper coordination of duties and better service delivery.
The presidential spokesman however, assured that there would be no job losses in the process of pruning the ministries, departments and parastatals, explaining that the process would be a very “painstaking thing” that would be done very carefully.
He told workers not to fear as the Buhari administration would not create unemployment, assuring that the president remained committed to his promise to create jobs.....

An Akwa-Ibom State indigene, identified as Mrs Okon Iniabasi, has reportedly cut off a man’s penis when he attempted to rape her.

The incident happened in the Ikono Local Government Area of the state.
The man, Linus Ibok, Punch reports, is her husband’s best friend.
Reports say Ibok had on Saturday, accompanied his friend, Iniabasi’s husband, a petty trader to board a vehicle to Aba, Abia State to purchase items for his shop in the village.
Afterwards, Ibok trailed Iniabasi to her farm where his manhood was cut off as he tried to have canal knowledge of her.
As the story goes, Iniabasi was said to have disclosed that she was not surprised when she saw Ibok in her farmland, as she thought he wanted to help her since he was almost like a member of their family but the shock came when Ibok confessed his undying love for her.
She reportedly rebuked him and asked him to leave the farm or she would report him to her husband. It was at that point Ibok grabbed her and attempted to rape her. Meanwhile, she allegedly let him UnCloth and on noticing that, she used her machete to cut off his manhood.
After that, she ran to the village to inform others, who rushed to the farm to meet Ibok in the pool of his own blood with his manhood cut off.
He was rushed to an unnamed hospital where he is reportedly receiving treatment...

expressed optimism and appreciation that the amnesty programme, which many skeptics and cynics expressed pessimism over its success has yielded, in the interim, the much desired outcome.

The Governor also stated that in view of a security interface with Gana, it was resolved that the amnesty be extended, in line with his policy of carrot and stick, to a period of 4 more weeks to allow other groups the last opportunity to key into the amnesty and submit their weapons.

After his surrender Terwase Akwaza said his reasons for his decision to hand over the large quantum of arms to include his conviction that Samuel Ortom has brought the needed change in Benue State and he believes, the issues that frustrated them to resort to carrying illegal arms and criminality within Benue and Taraba States have now become history.

His Excellency, Samuel Ortom expressed appreciation to President Mohammadu Buhari and his colleague, the Governor of Taraba State for accepting and approving the amnesty programme.

He also thanked the Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Katsina Ala for the mediation role he played in the course of dialogue with the militia group.

A total number of 84 guns and other weapons of warfare were surrendered by GANA and his group alone with a promise to convince those yet to surrender to do so in the next four weeks.
