"The Tecno Phantom has a non-detachable battery design with 2700 mAh battery. The battery should take you through at least 7 hours of heavy usage. The battery capacity found on Phantom 6 is a bit disappointing as it is a downgrade to Tecno Phantom 5 battery or even compared to Phantom 6 plus which has about 4050mAh".

"Although I hate to burst TECNO’s bubble because I just think they put the camera on the Camon C9 and dumped it on the Phantom 6. There really seem to be no difference at all, its pegged at 13MP and there is still no camera settings for you to make adjustments such as light, image size and other simple settings obtainable on camera phones. The interface just looks basic and you are only restricted to the default regulars like HDR, guidelines, gesture shots.
Camera performance under sunlight/Daylight is okay but low light performance is just a no-no, I expected more."













On poor battery life-

Maybe this is the gloomy feature on the device, I questioned the 2,700mAh capacity of the battery after checking through the specs sheet of the device. Maybe I should refresh your memory by telling you that the Phantom 5 had 3,000mAh battery capacity.
Screen is an Amoled display which obviously drains battery as long as you have more screen-on time but somehow users can manage the power by using dark coloured wallpapers and themes to reduce excessive power usage by the screen.
Heavy users should get themselves a power bank, you are only sure of an average 6 hours or less if you indulge in continuous chat, calls, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, videos and those social stuff."

N.B I am not against tecno,but your bogus claims really annoyed me..
The only way you could be tellinh the truth is if the phantom 6 you reviewed was specially customized for you with a 10,000mah battery.
My honest advice to anyone considering buying this phone is to Google more reviews by tech blogs and read up extensively to get honest reviews.

Really, sorry to hear that. But next time try to take it to their Carlcare stores, they'll fix up the issue for you.

Their Carl care where warranty is for decoration.. They must look for a way to get out of not fixing the phone for you free,going as far as blaming you for being a careless phone user on issues that is clearly a factory defect.I have used techno,Infinix,apple,gionee,itel,cubetalk,samsung and I know the weaknesses and strengths of all.I am sticking with gionee finally.

Thank God for good health and my life in general..I am really blessed.

I use headphone Ma'am, I do connect thru Bluetooth not wire. The phone is 6k mah strong enough to hold anything thrown at it.

Tecno is an amazing brand trust me. The phones they have brought out have been amazing. I've tried the phantom 6 and I did not want to let go of it.

Tecno phones looks great..The real test of durability comes after using it for months...My colleague uses camon c9..so so complain.. Phone overheats,d screen is not so responsive at times, on some days, the phone charges at snail pace. I have used a tecno phone myself, similar story..I vex sell fone of 33k for 13k after 6 months.Gionee isn't perfect but u will have peace of mind.

Work has been great..I was assigned to go for a criminal case with my boss,but he pushed me there because he was mad at the client.Thank God for good advocacy skills and smartness, I handled it well.So well that the Court registrar asked me to give him a copy of the letter I wrote, that a lawyer wants to make photocopy of it to guide him in writing his.I was like ...really? After court, I went to do my QUEENZHAIR waybills before I headed back to the office. I got back and went to eat vegetable Soup and goat meat with amala at my favourite spot with a colleague. I started feeling sleepy and decided to see a movie on my work P.C.Sadly,i had to abandon the movie halfway to go brief my boss about the court proceedings I went for.Now i am just waiting till Thursday when I would have freedom to sleep till 10a.m before leaving my house for work (yup,the boss won't be in town).I plan to see '76' movie at the cinema, get my hair and nails done within office hours.
OK..byebye,I have a case today that would fetch me 4k tfare from our clients. Lemme fix breakfast and look pretty to court.

No it doesn't have similar specs with s7 edge. The only area where the specs is similar is in the RAM department. Quad hd screen vs FHD, snapdragon 820 vs mtk helio x20, f1.7 lens vs f2.0 which means better camera on s7 edge, and don't forget the beautiful edge screen.

I'm not saying gionee m6 is a bad phone, in fact it is a very good phone for its price, but don't compare with s7 edge unless u really need that battery.

I need d battery o,and the phone is so sleek...I checked it out today and it was love at first sight...S7 is cool but out of my budget for now.

I've got so many things to say but I don't know how close you are to the person so I wud just kpimmmm.

Just let him know that Gionee Nigeria is not smart and they will always play second fiddle to Tekno despite having better products. Nigeria is one of their biggest markets yet they release inferior variants (M5) of their phones in Nigeria months after doing so in other countries. I'm a big fan of their products but trust me they are losing it gradually.

I am a business person so i agree with you... Tecno is only smarter because they produce phones that cater to the needs of all and sundry.How many Nigerians can afford phones of 20k with the recession?But again,for the quality of their phones,i support their going premium..My only fear is that not everyone can afford flagship phones which would make them lose ground in the Nigerian market for not having pocket friendly devices.Even samsung produces cheap phones to cater for the needs of persons who cannot afford their higher models.
