Yes o..genius43 has named me the RN WhatsApp group admin..lolz.My own still dey kampe.I got a solid tempered glass and case from CAPTSM store on AliExpress that has been saving it from falls.First phone that i have used for over a year,and it's still in frosh condition without a crack on the screen.I am yet to get the recent update.Before i update,i will read reviews to be sure.

lol,i got RN5 in 2018 November, custom billed me 9000.Some persons paid as high as 14000 on same phone.Whether post office or DHL, custom duties are billed on items randomly.You may be lucky and escape them.

If you want peace of mind,look for one of the sellers here and buy.I bring hairs into Nigeria From vietnam, trust me on this when i say this isn't the time to be buying phones outside Nigeria.Custom duty will humble you.

WhatsApp, Instagram, Browser, YouTube. Don't think there's anything wrong here, if you use the mentioned apps regularly. For YouTube, you can decide to reduce the video quality to 144p if you can manage it. For WhatsApp, if you read /watch statuses, you should reduce it, especially videos.

aww, maybe they are trying to woo me.I have been using glo for data subscription for years now, lately it was as if they sent them to drain me.I was legit spending over 6k a month on data.I jejely ported to mtn.So far it's better than glo in terms of usage.

I love the new look of my security app.Its amazing that Xiaomi keeps pushing system app updates to a phone as old as RN5.I used gionee m5 for almost two years,na the way everything be when i buy am,na so e dey till today.No update whatsoever to enhance the features of the phone or it's system apps.Thank God for nairaland, I would never have tried a mi device if not for this wonderful thread.I was just wasting money since,mi phones are real value for money even after years of using it.

data is even cheap now.I use mtn,got 13.5gb for 2000 naira with *121# data4me deal.

For an MTK device?God forbid..The Xiaomi mi note 10 lite is a better deal for N150,000

If your house is properly wired to standard other protective measures should have taken place before it gets to your phone and also a good charger will take the fall and not your phone.

It is advisable to have a power surge for protection in this case.

You are right though,but all these electrical stuffs develop issues at times without giving you warning.

It doesn't, I read one article that pointed out that leaving your device plugged in doesn't have any adverse effects on the phone's battery. Things that affect the battery are bad chargers, using it while charging and unstable sources of power amongst others

there you have it!Now how do you know Nepa will not decide to be unfortunate with high voltage while you are asleep with your phone plugged in?What of heavy rain that brings lightening and thunder?You know anything plugged in is a goner especially where there is no good thunder arrestor in place.I don't take that risk sha, the socket can suddenly develop fault,start burning,burn your charger and house join lol.Don't mind me,i am an overthinker.
