lol that movie was like 7 yrs ago,didn't really think of going online..those days it was bought in DVD format,I had to rewatch it sha but its not as deep as inception...if I tell you till today that I totally understand everything about inception,then I'm a liar

ermm I think you missed d entire point of shutter island,he isn't a detective...he actually killed his wife,but I think somewhere along d line it affected his psyche and he was in total denial,that whole facade put up by d hospital was to really find out whether he was pretending to forget or he actually remrmbered..d whole point of d movie was for him to accept what he did not to live in denial...even at d end when he was with d doctor,he still called him a false name,d doctor nodded to his collegue indicating that it didn't work,before DiCaprio told him something about dying a good man or living life as a badan,can't really remember d exact quote,its been long

I did not miss the point oh. I said so to stimulate interest. I had to watch the movie more than once to get it.

its just a great concept..let me let you in on a little secret,after each episode,I read different reviews online and watch some YouTube videos for better understanding

A good movie doesn't need you to run to YouTube videos or online reviews for understanding.

You never see Movies or Series be that, try Inception, The Usual Suspect, Shutter Island (Movies) and Westworld and The OA (Tv Series) without any external spoilers. Then let us know how far

I think anyone who has vast knowledge in history will understand the series. Because then you won't need youtube to tell you which god is which.

Try googling gods in different civilizations....... It will help to understand future characters. I am sure you recognized the Jesus guy immediately cos you already knew him.

Also,I think those scenes that seem misplaced (like anubis's first appearance) are a marker to later scenes in the series.

Once more........ Reading up each character's place in history helps

I binged and watched all ten episodes like a long movie. Its worth it.

I dont know why other people watch Tv Series with bias.

In fact, 95% of HBO shows got a gay character in one of the titular roles. Maybe that's why their shows are often special.

Just finish bingeing HoC, and I gotta say, it's a fvcking drag. If you thought season 4 was bad, this one is worse. It made me realize that maybe... just maybe, season 3 wasn't so bad after all.

My summary of the whole season...

- Season 1: Frank manipulates his way to being VP.
- Season 2: Frank manipulates his way to being President.
-Season 3: Frank has power but struggles to hold on to it.
- Season 4: Still struggles to keep power.
- Season 5: struggles. Fails. Now wants backdoor power. Gives presidency to Claire.


Bleh! So much for watching a genius master manipulator. What a loser. And to think bykebyke went as far as comparing this idiot to Lord Baelish of Game Of Throne's fame clearly boggles the mind.

I think HoC has overstayed its welcome. I think it's time to end it. Hopefully season 6 would be the final chapter to this snoozefest.
