Police in Nansana has arrested a 23 year old Makerere University student "Jane Francis Nampijja" for allegedly faking her own kidnap and demanding 5 millions ransom from her friends.

According To Reports:

Kidnapers started by demanding for a ransom of 5 M illion(Ug Shs).

The kidnappers sent out a wave of messages to all the contacts in Kaitesi's phone; Using her very own number which they have been using to demand for ransom.

The Kidnappers released a video of her at around 11pm On Saturday.
In the video,a helpless Kaitesi is seen gasping and struggling to breath with a bitterly battered and bruised body as she cries out for help.

The kidnappers sent out yet another message at 5am on Sunday.They say that the delivery of the ransom should be quickened or else Jennie will be killed before the end of today.

The last Message was sent at 9:53 am on Sunday.
The message states, "Bwekiba kiganye, mukime akalambo kamwe e' katende ku lwe'masaka. " 
This is loosely translated as "if the ransom delivery has failed, come claim your corpse/body at Katende along Masaka road.

This implies that she might have already been killed! 
Going by one of the messages sent using her number, she has already been raped by her kidnappers. .
The phone number is off and offline. However, the kidnappers keep switching it on and off -as well as appearing on and offline whenever they are intending to send out a message to the contacts in Jennie's phone.

Jennie who is in her early 20s studied from St . Mary's senior secondary school, Nkozi before joining St . Augustine's college for A-level.

A Building Technology student of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State was beaten to death on Monday, after he hit and killed five people, including some Post UTME students with his car in a crash. 

The deceased identified as Fisayo, who reportedly wrote his final degree exam last week, and two other friends were said to be drunk and high on drugs when the incident happened. 

According to eyewitnesses, Fisayo hit and knocked down the first victimat Akoda and while being chased, he crushed another person at Eleha, Bepo.

He also rammed into a bike rider with his passengers at Orita Oloki, where they were eventually tracked down by the angry mob. 

His friends managed to flee but Fisayo wasn't so lucky. The mob dragged Fisayo out of the car and lynched him.

Late Ras Kimono was laid to rest over the weekend at his hometown in Asaba. Many veteran artists attended the event to pay their last respect to the Reggae King. At one of the events organized, where artistes were requested to perform, Daddy Showkey was requested to manage the stage. However, a video emerged showing a braw between him and a man later identified to be an artiste associate.

In the video, Daddy Showkey was really upset as he threw the man off the stage. GoldMyneTv spoke with Daddy Showkey and he gave his account of what transpired.

Daddy Showkey said he was pleaded with to manage the stage and ensure those not needed don’t crowd the stage but the particular man in question came on the stage with an artiste. The stage was heavily occupied and so he politely requested that the man leaves the stage but he grew aggressive and locked his shirt.

In the process, the man pushed Late Ras Kimono’s Sister who fell. Daddy Showkey said at that moment, he couldn’t accept that disgrace and threw the man off the stage. His decision to lock his shirt means he was ready to fight him and so he approached him to defend himself. Daddy Showkey said most times, people forget that celebrities are human as well with feelings and emotions. He further said those that know him know he rarely gets upset as he loves to play a lot unless when pushed to the wall

Some people gathered and appealed to him for peace so he left the scene immediately. Daddy Showkey revealed that the man later came to apologize in the evening.
