The shocking moment a lion climbed into a zoo shuttle car occupied by tourists was filmed and has been shared online.

The tourists were visiting a Crimean Safari when Filya, a 2-year-old lion at the Taigan Safari Park in Crimea, took time out of her nap to join them.

Jair Bolsonaro, a far-right candidate in Brazil's upcoming presidential election, was stabbed on Thursday, during a campaign rally in the southern city of Juiz de Fora.

The dramatic knife attack was caught on video and shared on social media. The politician survived but was seriously injured and underwent surgery.

Bolsonaro was being led through a crowd in Juiz de Fora city, in the southern state of Minas Gerais, when the attacker stabbed him from the front. 

As the suspect attempted to escape through the crowd, he was caught and received the beating of his life before they headed him to the Police. While the politician was rushed to a hospital where he underwent a surgery after he was seriously injured.

In a press conference at the hospital, a surgeon said Bolsonaro suffered injuries to an abdominal vein, the colon and the large intestine. The operation was successful and the candidate was stable, but in a serious condition, he added.

Police spokesman Flavio Santiago told the Associated Press (AP) that the attacker had been arrested and was identified as Adelio Bispo de Oliveira. Santiago said the suspect was badly beaten by Bolsonaro supporters after the stabbing.

A girl, was, this morning, rescued from a pit toilet around the Ikire campus of Uniosun.

According to Ayobami, who witnessed the rescue operation, no one knows how she got there or her mother. The baby, covered with maggots, was given a thorough bath after being rescued with a rope.

A tanker explosion destroyed properties worth millions of Naira, yesterday, after a PMS-laden truck ran into a flour garden on G.U.-Ake road, Eliozu, Rivers State.

The fire razed a hotel, churches, one of which is Christ Living Miracle Church, and shops among others.

The petroleum tanker explosion, which is the second in less than four months around the same spot, also burnt down houses, cars, located within the immediate vicinity.

41 Nigerian prostitutes, between the ages of between 18 and 25 years, have been arrested by the Weija District Police Command led by Chief Inspector Diana Tei Eninful.

They were arrested around a place called Choice, where several pubs operate at night.

Eninful said the police received several reports from residents in the area about the activities of the prostitutes, which have turned the vicinity into a haven for drug peddlers and armed robbers.

She said the prostitutes, sometimes intentionally hoot at, and accuse passers-by of refusing to pay them after allegedly having enjoyed their coital services, and, so, pounce on such innocent people with the help of their gangs of pimps – a situation she said has brought insecurity to the whole neighbourhood.
