Naomi14 I bathe my son once a day! If the weather is hot I wipe him down with a wash cloth .

When he got older I just fill a bowl with ordinary water whenever it's hot and he will just splash about in it.

Proper bathing for us is done just once either night or morning.

Her pregnancy is still early for scan to detect. Let her be on strictly bed rest, take a lot of fluid and to continue her folic acid her joy is permanent ijn let her focus on positivity.

Hello all, sharing this on behalf of my friend. Her LMP was on the 28th of July. Met with her husband for the first time o the 9th of August which she said was the peak of her ovulation. Her next period should start on Friday the 25th of August. Just two days ago she felt some cramps and so dark spotting and decided to go for a OR which came out positive. She also feels pain around her right lower abdomen. She had a scan today which showed no sign of pregnancy. Not even an ectopic. Her ovaries too are intact. But the pain is severe. My question is can an ectopic pregnancy show symptoms as early as 2 weeks in pregnancy. ? Could it be OUR though there is no discharge. She did a tvs and the problem gathered some brown slough from he uterus as well

Hello mamas! Please what did you use for lo when he/she was teething? My baby (3months+) keeps putting her fingers in her mouth, spits often, and though her gum is without teeth but she drags my nipple with the gum and it's so painful. Please what can I use to soothe her gum other than teething rings? maybe like drugs?

Leaving placenta in the hospital is a NO they dare not ask u to leav it sef collect and dispose ur sef dunno if it's safer if u dispose in water like ocean or sea or look for a place to bury deep

in this modern day, what exactly do u do with the placenta? is it OK to leave it at the hospital?

I know in old times, they give it to the parent..in which some bury it or whatever way to prevent it from getting in "wicked people's hand"..

I've been wondering what to do with it when the time comes, cos it's not something u just wanna throw in the dustbin like that ..and burying is not really an option especially when everywhere is cemented.
can u leave it in the hospital for them to destroy and dispose it them self?

u know this is Africa.. and we are kinda kinda too religious in this part of the continent hence the question..

Sorry dear same with me I chew like 5 crackers a day some times 8 or I chew d gum while am outside home it keeps d spit in check better still u will carry teem plastic everywhere u go

thanks ma.. yellow crackers only works while chewing.. moment I stop chewing my mouth starts watering.. so basically I have to keep chewing 24/7 like goat.. it's unrealistic and tiring especially at work..

I will definitely try the coffee gum, I've tried other gum (sugarless strong minty gums), but they do the opposite.. i.e make my mouth produce more spit while chewing.. although they only make saliva bearable to swallow for the first 4 seconds..

I'll let u know when I try superstar coffee gum..thanks

thanks I've tried it.. it does make my mouth dry but only for 5 seconds..lol I guess my own case is different..

u can try yellow cream crackers or super star coffee chew gum

Thanks Its a family member that makes the pap. She claims she put ginger tho I can't taste any ginger. I just want to try and see if baby would even like pap if she does I'd have hers made specially. Also how do I know how much formula to add to the pap
