i have been reading this thread for like four hours now and i must commend everyone.. My fiancee is 10 weeks preg and i must say av bn worried about the changes in her. she no longer eats. just liquids.. i had to make it a duty to prepare cat fish pepper soup for her so as to enhance her appetite. my mum told me its normal. Despite bn an anatomist, dis is completely strange to me.. but after reading this thread, am a bit relieved and i will recommend she reads this too cos she isn't on nairaland.. i got her folic acid, pregncare and really hope it will help.. #concernedman#

Scans calculate gestational age based on the fetus weight and development, some fetus grow faster than their actual age some are slower. One of the reasons babies weigh differently. Twins are 2 different fetus their weight can't be exactly the same. And as regards position, they change positions all the time. One needs to worry only when it's 36 weeks.

Sorry about that, it could just be hormones without logical reasons as to why, pregnant women who have everything going for them ie a supportive spouse, money, a good job etc can still suffer from it.

Depression during and after pregnancy is really real. It's a good thing you are aware that you could be depressed.

Since you are almost at the end just try to keep positive thoughts like mamas have suggested and be watchful you might be at risk of post partum stress disorder (ptsd) or postpartum depression (ppd). You can read online for more information

Breech before week 36 to 37 is nothing to worry about. Don't increase your BP over nothing. Most babies flip back to Cephalic position from 36 weeks upwards.

Im sorry to ask, what about ur babys father,sisters friends,church/mosque members anyone that u can talk to? Do you have a source of income?
Having someone around you really helps. Loneliness even without been pregnant can cause depression.
Pls try and go out more often, talk to someone,pray. But please try to start loving ur bundle of joy. I know people that would give up all they have in this world just to have a baby growing in them.
Talk to ur baby,rub ur belly when ever you feel movements. Makeup,dress nice and take maternity shots even if its with ur phone.and the best part of this is that ur baby is coming to solve ur loneliness issue. You would have a new bestfriend for life. Be strong sister. You can do this

Please inform your doctor. Those feelings aren't as strange as we would like to imagine. Many women have them. Sometimes it graduates to post partum depression after delivery.
You need a support system, someone to encourage you every step of the way. You should avoid solitude. Go outdoors. Come in here and let's stay in contact with you. It could help.
You'll be fine. You're doing great and your baby loves you so much.

Some pregnacare have folic acid pls read the content so she won't exceed her folic acid dosage

It's normal and she should begin to fell better by the 13th-15th week, hopefully.
Just continue to be supportive and don't look at her as being lazy, this is the worst period especially for a first time mom.

Seriously teamie, I no it might be normal to feel DAT way sometimes o,but in everything just give thanks to God and remember all those women going through a lot just to get pregnant don't make God feel u doesn't appreciate his gift.

I remembered those days MS was dealing with me seriously, sometimes after vomiting my intestine out and so weak I will just feel like crying but instead u will see me singing praises to God and saying wonderful things to him,DH self go dey look me with one kind eyes o but I always remind him to think of d years I stayed praying for MS with so many drugs,herbs,injection, test.
