A former Minister of State for Education, Iyabo Anisulowo, has been kidnapped. Anisulowo who served as a Minister during Late Sani Abacha’s administration, was kidnapped in Ilaro in Yewa South local government area of Ogun State yesterday evening April 27th.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for the state police command, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the state commissioner of police is aware of her abduction and efforts are being made for her to be released unhurt
“The Ogun State police command is aware of the kidnapping of Senator Iyabo Anisulowo in Ilaro area today around 6pm. The Commissioner of Police Ogun State CP Abdulmajid Ali has detailed five teams to the area to rescue her unhurt. The special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS, and Anti-Kidnapping Squad Commanders have been sent to the area by the CP to rescue the senator and apprehend the perpetrators. We have also embarked on scientific investigation of the matter” he said.

Some days ago, it was reported that Lil Kesh is set to part ways with Olamide’s record label as his two year contract with the label had expired. There was also a report that indicated that Lil Kesh is floating a label of his own named ‘YAGI’ Records and there is no bad blood between him and his former boss. Lil Kesh just confirmed that although the YAGI Record Label rumour is true, YBNL remains his family and management for life.

The best graduating student of Delta State University (DELSU), Ossaiugbo Ifeanyi Marcus, who graduated with the cumulative aggregate of 4.68 from the department of Mathematics and Computer Science – was offered automatic employment as a lecturer in the institution & an overseas scholarship to pursue his postgraduate program.
The Vice-chancellor of the university, Prof. Victor Peretomode, who announced this at the school’s 10th convocation in Abraka, also assured him that the institution would bear the full cost of his overseas post graduate studies.
According to him, the university would, in compliance with the university’s vision and mission statement, continue to provide qualitative education in terms of research and innovations, teaching and learning to its students and the society in general.

Former Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu, has reportedly returned N2.3 billion to the federal government. Amosun and over nine air force officers are currently under investigation for their alleged involvement in arms procurement fraud.
According to Sahara Reporters, a source at EFCC who spoke on condition of anonymity said
“I can confirm to you that Amosu has returned N2.3b. He raised two bank drafts. One draft was N2b while the second was N300m”.
Amosun who was arrested in January 2016, has forfeited some of his houses worth N500m to the antigraft agency. Also $140,000 has also been reportedly recovered from him. An additional N381m was reportedly seized from his wife Omolara Amosun in February.

In September 2015, Psquare and Soundcity TV were involved in a bitter twitter war
Soundcity, had stopped airing videos by Nigeria’s pop twins, P-Square, since January of that year . They had invited the singing duo to an event but they insisted Sound City pay a certain amount of money. While trying to negotiate, Jude Okoye, their the manager had pointed out ‘What has Soundcity ever done for P-Square? Tell me one thing Soundcity has ever done for PSquare’
For that reason Sound City stopped airing Psquare's music videos.
All these was revealed during the twitter war between Sound City and Psquare last year, but the good news today is both parties have agreed for peace to reign.
Sometime last year, music TV station, SoundCity and super group P-Square called each other out on social media over some issue. Looks like all that is water under the bridge as Paul Okoye shared a photo of himself with Olamide Adedeji, the group Channel’s manager and gave a shout out to the TV station. Peter Okoye also did the same…
