Queenyetun: Good evening all. I just got a refusal today with reason “There are reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory before the visa expires” Do you advise I appeal? Good evening all. I reapplied for Schengen visa through France after a rejection from them.. as advised by the majority. The visa was issued 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾 Rejection in January, they approved in March with same documents Thanks all |

Nielda234: Hello, Has anyone recently applied for a visa using this TLS. I don’t know why they changed it from VSF. This is my 4th visa application and it usually comes out in 3-4 days. It’s been over a week and nothing yet. I’m tracking it and it’s saying processing. I don’t get. Did anyone else’s application take this long? Recent applications that I know about were processed in 3 days. |

Good afternoon.. Please advise. I am re - applying to France after a denial last month. Should I submit my previous refusal letter or I should just ignore it? |

Good morning Thelma. I really need to connect with you so you can put me through please. thelma76: No I didn’t and I don’t think it’s necessary. I’ve never submitted more than a one-pager cover letter summarizing my application and profile and hotel/flight bookings.
Also, a colleague of mine applied last week Tuesday, same simple application and she got the visa yesterday… multiple entry 10days.
I think the simpler and more detailed it is, the better |

Congratulations Thelma Did you reserve tours for the purpose of the visa application? thelma76: I think UK is even worse lol but Thank you, I got it. They granted a 30day Visa valid for two months but single entry. I can’t complain as it’s better than a rejection. Additionally, the end date is in the last month I can travel with my passport since it expires 6months after…so that could have influenced the validity. The lady ahead of me got a rejection and she mentioned she had reapplied after the first rejection. Reason was something around the justification for the trip or so. She claimed to have submitted a “healthy balance/statement”. It is well. I knew the outcome before she mentioned it because when she opened her envelope, there was an A4 paper in it.
Note: this is my third Schengen visa but I only used one previously as the second one, I had a change in travel plans. I forgot to put the bookings for the Spain leg of the trip (I mentioned I’d be visiting two countries but forgot my hotel booking for Spain although the flight tickets showed the correct plans). Also, I’m single and my closing balance was exactly 2.9m and not more. It could be true that they’re really not granting a lot of visas to first time Schengen region Travellers because there was nothing soooo special about my profile….a mon avis. |

nmamatilda: Please I am also asking regarding the appeal. Do we send to Nantes or Lagos. What are we attaching to the appeal letter ( passport)? Hi Matilda Seems we are on the same boat. Can you text your number to my mail? |

CowbellY: Nah. Its just someone who couldn't be bothered to assess her application that denied her. Probably they met their quota already. An appeal is good to get it off her record. Thank you. Comments here has been so encouraging. Can someone please give me a step by step procedure on how to get my appeal to Nantes? Willl I send or submit the appeal to their embassy in Lagos or I will mail directly to Nantes? |

Zazozhe2022: Probably how the money was lodged in. Because honestly you qualify The bulk of the money has been sitting there since forever. I hope my appeal is considered tho |

thelma76: Wow this is scaring me o, I wasn’t worried before and didn’t give my application much thought…I even applied with half of this balance LOL. Anyway, now I guess I’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out. Both my previous Schengen visas were granted with less than 2.5m balance. The first was even 900k as balance but I can attribute that to the fact that it was a business funded trip, the second I applied for was just last July and it was ~2.1m. Really scary because you appear to have a good traveller profile from the listed documents submitted See ehn, I was confident I was going to get the visa. I had less than this balance when I got a Uk visa.. don’t know why France is moving mad I pray you get yours. |

hunee: Appeals are sent via courier to Nantes, France. That is the commission for visa refusals. Google it out or check your refusal note. It is there. Okay. Thanks I appreciate |

davodyguy: That's what we're analyzing.
1. Main reason is that you'll likely Japa by their beliefs
So what are the things you need to do for them not to think you'll Japa?
Strong home ties, not bank balance this time around, cos most people that Japa were able to raise ₦10plus millions as well.
Strong job Strong balance Getting married Landed property Trying another country that can overlook Thanks for your help. I appreciate |

davodyguy: Also, are you married with kids? Reason here is that they think you want to Japa.
Telling you cos of reapplication I’m single.. I feel that is the reason for refusal What do you advise I do in my next application to convince them that I’m coming back? |
Travel › Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Queenyetun: 1:43pm On Jan 27, 2024 |
davodyguy: With what you sent, I think it's lack of landed property that may have caused the rejection/denial I added my landed property. I omitted that in the list I mentioned earlier |

I submitted the following; Letter of introduction from my employer Letter of employment Pay slips Statement of accounts with 6.9m closing balance Travel insurance Return Flight tickets reservation Hotel reservation Itinerary Cover letter Previous visas (Uk and some Asian countries) Entry and exit stamps Leave letter Reference letter I have never stayed beyond 8 days in any of my trips which is always within my visa validity… so I really wonder why they doubt that I will return |

Hi everyone.. I got a mail from TLS yesterday that my passport will be dispatched within 24hrs because I opted for delivery. It’s more than 24hrs and there is no follow up mail or message from either TLS or DHL. Does it happen like that please? |
