Buckubuck:

What does abandoned projects have to do with growth or not? Under normal circumstances, already existing projects should not stop the starting of new ones especially in an ailing economy like ours. Unfortunately, this govt is having fiscal issues and are at their wit's end, which is why they had to constitute an economic team made up largely of people who worked with previous administrations they used to berate.
2.18mbpd is unrealistic if you factor in that our OPEC quota is 1.8 which we hardly exceed most times and of course the volatility of crude oil price and gloomy economic outlook of the globe due to trade wars and the middle East.
Your question abt half of the budget going into overheads reeks of ignorance
Borrowing should be commonsensical. Right now, we're using almost 100% of our oil revenue to service debts with no visible improvement in infrastructure or standard of living.
A lot of economists have spoken if you've been following the news

So, we should keep abandoning unfinished projects?

You said the govt. is having fiscal issues, but u don't want the govt to borrow, and u still want the government to embark on new projects.....do u now see why u are not making any sense? Let me know the names of renowned economists who have spoken against the budget.

You said you have not seen any visible improvement in our infrastructure, it is either u are not seeing well or u just want to play politics of hatred. Have you not seen our light rail? What about the second niger bridge? Go to Lagos-Ibadan expressway. We have alot of them goin on.....if u want me to post images here, I will do it for you.

Buckubuck:

Seems like you lots who support this govt don't know what goes on there. A budget which is simply a repetition of last year with no new additions is simply not growth oriented. Besides the budget benchmarks are not realistic which means more borrowings whereas we are already servicing debts with a quarter of the budget. Half of the budget is going into overheads while heavy taxation and minimum wage non-implementation is going to lead to further impoverishment of the people. That's how it's not growth oriented

Trash.

So, we should abandon projects that have not been completed?

How is the benchmark not realistic?

How is half of the budget going into overhead?

There is no problem in borrowing to finance developmental projects sir.

If it is not growth oriented, we would have seen a lot of respected economists saying one thing or the other about that

'I Was Crazy For Him' - Lille Transfer Guru Campos Reveals How He Discovered Osimhen
Lille sporting director Luis Campos has revealed that he was on the trail of Victor Osimhen for about four years before eventually signing the striker in the summer transfer window.

Campos is widely regarded as one of the top transfer chiefs in the world and is credited with unearthing talents such as
Kylian Mbappe, Nicolas Pepe, James Rodriguez, Anthony Martial, Fabinho, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy.

Campos pointed out that Osimhen would have been a player of Lille after the 2015 U17 World Cup but they were priced out of a move.

''I went to Lagos (Niger) to see the U17 World Championships. After one match I wanted him. But his price was very expensive for a 17-year-old,'' Campos said to Sky Sports.

''I spoke to my CEO. I called him every night saying, 'Please give me this player, he is amazing. In two years he will be one of the best in Europe'.

"In the end the player went to Wolfsburg. I went to Wolfsburg just to see him play. Sometimes he only played for five minutes, sometimes only two. I was crazy for him!

''Then he had a virus and had five or six months not playing and went to Charleroi in Belgium. Two months later I signed him. So itʼs a nice story. I lost the player but then got him back.''

Osimhen has made a blistering start to his career at Lille, scoring 8 goals in 11 appearances across all competitions, and Campos is tipping the Nigeria international to move to a bigger club next summer.

The Portuguese added : ''If all is normal at the end of the season there will be a big move for him because he's like a cat. You know, if you have a cat and give it a ball!

''Heʼs unbelievable. In the last 20 metres he attacks every ball. Every ball. Like a cat''.

There is this skin problem I have Been having on my face for quite a while now ( since my secondary school days) and it keeps coming back every year after it seems to have disappeared.

I was told by a lot of people and chemists that it is eczema but it doesn't seem to respond to all the treatments I have used on it including a lot of facial creams and soaps, it also seems to me like eczema but right now I don't know what it is due to its persistence.

It has all the symptoms of eczema. Doctors and skincare experts in the house can you help me with a solution to this problem, thanks

P.S: pardon the non-clarity of the camera, it is worse than it looks

Stop using sponge to wash ur face, u can also change ur soap to a medicated soap(e g tetmosol).

Politics / Tribunal Sacks Obinna Onwubuariri From House Of Representatives by quickberry2(m): 10:58am On Sep 20, 2019
Chidiebube Okeoma, Owerri

The National Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal in Owerri on Wednesday sacked a member of the House of Representatives, Obinna Onwubuariri.

Until the nullification of his mandate, Onwubuariri represented Isiala Mbano/Onuimo/Okigwe federal constituency of Imo State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

In her judgment which lasted for about two hours, chairman of the Panel, R. Harriman, ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a fresh poll in the federal constituency within 90 days from the date of the judgment.

According to the Jurist, the petitioner, Princess Miriam Onuoha, of the All Progressives Congress, was able to prove her petition beyond reasonable doubt.

The jurist said that INEC and the first respondent were unable to defend the allegations of over-voting, mutilation of figures, and the reduction of the petitioner’s votes preferred against them by the petitioner.

The panel, which ordered a fresh poll in the federal constituency, instructed that the first respondent’s certificate of return should be withdrawn immediately.

Harriman said the declaration of the lawmaker who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, was done in utter disregard of the Electoral Act, as amended.

The petitioner’s aide, Israel Onyema, told newsmen after the judgment that his principal would have been happier if the tribunal had declared the APC candidate the winner of the February 21 poll.

Onyema contended that his principal won the election in the three local government areas that make up the federal constituency.

An aide to the sacked lawmaker said his principal would appeal the judgment.
