Where did he mention Eze?
Eagles Squad For Benin, Lesotho Clash – Esiti, Otabor Out, Musa, Etebo In, QPR Eze In Line For First Eagles Call
October 15, 2019

The list of players for the senior national team of Nigeria next round of games which is the 2020 Africa Cup of Nations on the 14th and 19th of November against Benin Republic and Lesotho respectively is near completion according to reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com editorial team.

Nigeria will first play Benin Republic on the 14th before taking on Lesotho five days later and already coach Gernot Rohr has started fine tuning his team after the two friendly games against Ukraine and Brazil played within a space of a month.

Rohr has decided to drop some players to make way for players who were missing from the game due to injury and those who didn’t impress during the games played or in training ahead of the games.

PAOK of Greece midfield powerhouse Anderson Esiti is favourite to miss out with Rohr settling for Ramon Azeez who impressed as a second half substitute against Brazil while Esiti failed to do same when he was introduced against Ukraine.

Viv Solomon-Otabor might have had his last invitation to the team for now with Samuel Kalu set to return for the AFCON 2020 Qualifiers as he is expected to be fit. Otabor didn’t do enough in training to be considered as a substitute in the game against Brazil.

Team captain Ahmed Musa will return to the squad if he is fit alongside Oghenekaro Etebo who missed the last game to be with his wife who was expected to give birth according to reports from players close to the Stoke City midfielder.

Sources close to Rohr also revealed that QPR midfielder Ebere Eze has been discussed extensively by the technical crew of the Super Eagles and he could get his chance in the upcoming games. His decision is however subject to international clearance which is not expected to be tedious as he only played for England in a friendly game.

my friend, if you watch Onuachu's youtube clips, you'll be convinced he's better than CR7

Every football fan knows that youtube clips are fraudulent in nature and only show you the juicy parts, you cannot judge any player based on them. I bet even Mustafi would have a pretty dope youtube clip, doesn't make him a decent defender.

When you want to argue a player's quality, use live matches please, not Youtube
The best comment so far.......That was why I stated in my earlier comment that according to his clips on youtube.....I will try to watch his live match very soon......Thanks grin

You are only emphasizing on watching his clips, an edited content that has only good parts and bad ones chopped off.

How many goals has he played?
How many goals?
Is he even a pro footballer? Or all these academy prospect.

As it is now, he is not better than KC Iheanacho. Stop making mockery of football
A good player is a good player, irrespective of where he is playing......Iheanacho? I'm better than that one

Pukki, a Norwich player is better than Rashford that is playing for Man Utd.......so, forget about their clubs

Why I Called Up Viv Solomon-Otabor As Replacement For Kalu Ahead Of Ejuke, Okereke – Rohr Explains
October 12, 20190236

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr who is under-fire by the media for calling up CSKA Sofia of Bulgaria winger Viv Solomon-Otabor as replacement for ‎injured Samuel Kalu has explained the reason behind his decision.

The call up to Solomon-Otabor came as a surprise to many considering that the former Birmingham City teenager hasn’t done as much as other Nigerian players plying their trade in leagues higher than that of Bulgaria, Where Solomon-Otabor plays.

Defending his choice in a chat with Owngoalnigeria.com, the Franco-German coach said Solomon-Otabor will surprise many if he gets to play against Brazil and that he called him up as replacement for Kalu because they play same position.

He said he monitored the player for a year before deciding to call him up when the opportunity came following the withdrawal of Kalu. Rohr advised Club Brugge David Okereke and Heerenveen Chidera Ejuke to continue with their impressive form as he will call them up soonest.

” I like what I saw in him when I watched him. He is like Kalu on the wings and we have been monitoring him for some time now. The other players like Okereke, Ejuke will get their chance soon. Solomon got the nod because the vacancy is for a winger. Players doing well need to continue working hard”, the coach explained.

Super Eagles Training – Awaziem Favourite To Start As Super Eagles Right-back Against Brazil
October 12, 20190155

Base on the last training of the senior national team of Nigeria ahead of their friendly game against Brazil, coach Gernot Rohr appears to have settled for Leganes defender Chidozie Awaziem as his right fullback for the game.

Rohr lost Ola Aina who played the position recently against Ukraine to injury hence making the spot vacant but despite ‎Shehu Abdullahi who use to be the first choice right back and Tyronne Ebuehi who displaced Shehu at the World Cup, Awaziem appears to be his choice.

Awaziem who is originally a centre defender played the role at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after Shehu Abdullahi suffered an injury in the first game although he played as a centre defender in the last friendly against Ukraine.

During the training session, Owngoalnigeria.com gathered that Awaziem lined up with the team that looks likely to start while the duo of Abdullahi and Ebuehi were with the other team with latter playing as a left fullback as Jamilu Collins is the only left full back in the squad.

Ebuehi Proves Fitness With Dazzling Display During Super Eagles Training Ahead Of Brazil Friendly
October 11, 20190473

Benfica right full back Tyronne Ebuehi showed he is fully back to his best with a near faultless display during the Super Eagles training session ahead of the game against Brazil on Sunday, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.

Back in the squad after a year absence, no thanks to the injury which kept him out for a season, the Benfica defender who was called up as a replacement for Kenneth Omeruo stunned the coaches with his fitness level.

He completed all of the drills prior to the start of training and he was also heavily involved in the shooting practice before showing his ability on and off the ball during the practice match they had before the end of the session.

His performance will no doubt brighten his chances of playing some minutes against Brazil but Shehu Abdullahi who is back in the squad appears to be the favorite to start as right fullback.

How Super Eagles New Boys Performed – Olayinka, Solomon-Otabor, Ramon Azeez In Focus
October 11, 20190574

Th‎e three players invited to the Super Eagles for the first time were all in action in the first full training session of the team ahead of the friendly game against Brazil on Sunday in Singapore, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.

Peter Olayinka, Viv Solomon-Otabor and Ramon Azeez all trained with the Super Eagles for the first time with Azeez staging a comeback to the team after a five year absence. The trio are all pushing for game time on Sunday.

Azeez was by far the most lively of the trio mirroring the form he showed at Granada that earned him a recall to the team. His energy level was quite high as he was not only useful on the ball but even off the ball he showed great positional awareness. He is for sure going to get some minutes on Sunday.

Solomon-Otabor caught the eyes with his pace and ability to track back and defend but his final balls and crosses were wayward as well as his confidence when he was through on goal during the practice match.

Olayinka scored with a well hit drive past goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa during the session. Aside from his liveliness when in possession he looked very fit and strong in duels particularly when it comes to taking goal scoring positions.

Among the trio Azeez looks the most likely to get some game time although Olayinka can also be confident of getting some game time if he performs same way like he did in today’s session tomorrow.

You can go back and forth on who should take credit for kad-Abj light rail. But you'll agree that this govt has not been able to complete one light rail project by itself in four years.
You can't be in govt and still be playing opposition. PDP was voted out for their failures which APC promised to fix. So if you're not partisan, you should know that citizens are concerned about the activities of the govt in power not the opposition, except you're benefiting in a particular way from the govt.
If you do not know that 80%of Nigerian roads are comatose, I'll advise you to take a journey from Lagos to Sokoto or Borno and tell me what ur experience was like. Even the Lagos-hinterland roads I pointed out to you should give you a clue except ur head is buried in the sand.
Tell ur govt to get the refineries working and remove subsidy, they should provide power and make it affordable also, they should provide capital to cottage and SMEs and see if the economy will not reflate. Instead of calling the youths lazy and turning them to political urchins, they should inspire, challenge and empower them to unleash their creative energy. They should make scholarships available to our best graduates to be able to go round the world to acquire knowledge and know how in tech like India did.
Instead of increasing vat to punish the masses and build tolls, they should make sure the tax net covers more people including the seeming untouchables.
They should set realistic targets for the economy and focus on achieving them instead of using excuses of completing existing projects to cover their fiscal ineptitude.
They can do this and many more and bring down cost of governance instead of borrowing into oblivion
Trash as usual.....full of lies.

Just prove how you arrived at your 80%....this administration is certainly better than the previous ones.

You're the one playing politics of the stomach. If not, you'll not mention light rail completed by the former govt or the one being used to play politics as infrastructural improvement. Very funny you mentioned Lagos-Ibadan. I hope you know that road is just one out of the four roads linking Lagos with the rest of Nigeria. If you're doing Lagos-Ibadan for four years without completion while the remaining three remain comatose, how's that improvement with the ballooned debt.
At least 80% of federal roads are in poor condition yet you talk of improvement.
Fiscal issues are not just solved by knee-jerk borrowing. What about enlarging the tax net? What about cutting cost of governance? What about employing technology to bring down recurrent overheads?

Nigeria's economy is still in comatose. An ambitious govt will double down to do hard and smart work, not ask these simplistic solutions that are basically taking us nowhere.
That budget is not growth oriented. Period
Tell me one light rail project that was completed by the past administration. Are you saying that Kaduna to Abuja light rail was completed by the past administration? Or Warri or Lagos to Ibadan?

The same Lagos to Ibadan expressway that your party was reconstructing on the pages of newspaper for 16 years?

How did you come about your 80%? If the figure is correct, then it is a slap on the face of your party, because if your party had fixed those roads, we wouldn't be here talking about 80%. Your party couldn't fix them in 16 years but you want this administration to fix it in 4 years. Shey you can see how hypocritical you are?

Please, suggest a smart work that can be done to fix our economy that is in comatose.

If most of the money borrowed by this govt were used for developmental projects, people wont be complaining. Most of our debts goes to recurrent expenditure, debt servicing and misappropriation of funds.
Just look at today's Business day reporting that the CBN financed FG to the tune of over 4 trillion naira in 2018 which is against the CBN rule. So let's ask ourselves, what did the FG do with all that money including the ones we borrowed?

As for the OP, I have hope that Salami and Soludo will tell the President the gospel truth about how to make Nigeria productive and business friendly. The problem is, will Buhari put to action their recommendations? Your guess is as good as mine.
So, light rail is not a developmental project? What of second niger bridge?, federal roads that are being reconstructed are not developmental projects abi?
