I've lost hope for Nigeria because there's no sign of improvement anywhere, not even a cubic of improvement to show hope. I believe the black man is cursed, we are created to serve other people and suffer.

Thanks for reading. But, its not a fantasy to think of being like China or Japan. I strongly believe we would eventually realize that acquiring knowledge in English and making English a priority over our native languages is a disaster in Africa. What I don't know is when, but if it exceeds 35 years, we would get to a point on no-return. I believe we would eventually come back to our senses, and when we do, we would be far better than China or Japan. I don't believe these people are naturally more intelligent than us.

I' am hopeful, because when the Roman empire was at the peak of their power, all their colonies spoke Latin which was the language of Rome.

The above map shows nations once colonized by Rome, they all spoke Latin during Roman occupation of their lands. They had long reverted to speaking their native languages once Rome left. As a matter of fact, no two European nation speaks the same language. They all reverted back to their various original languages before Rome. That's what any intelligent people would do.

If after 30-35 years, Africans haven't figured out how to discard the languages of our colonial masters, then it would be safe to say something is wrong with the brain of black people in Africa. Asian nations that were once also colonized like us; namely, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei,e.t.c had already reverted back to themselves, and they're reaping the benefits.

OMG! I've been reading your blog all evening and it's so inspiring. You are right about "No language, no culture", if you take away the language you take away the culture and there will be no society. It's the language that makes a society grow and flourish. While I was reading your blog, I felt so sad because I came to the realisation that I would never experience my country Nigeria having a society that speaks its own language or make its language as the first language, not English.
Because I get so sad and envious when I see society like China (everything they do is in their own language, hence the strong cultural background). It's so sad Nigeria can never be a society of its own language and culture

Everyone haas a genetic defect from the copying of DNA. Now these defects runs in the family hence why it is advisable to marry out of your family. Their gene defect is not the sane as yours so the offspring will have a mild defect.

Think of it as everyone in a family being ET

E being healthy
T being a defect.
Now having kids from two ETs increses the anount of Ts in the offspring. Look at it like if l the person has 1%T and her brother has 2%T, you increase the number of T for the offspring.

But imagine marring from a family where they dont have and T defect at all. You can keep the % of T to the minimum.

Note that the T and E is just are examples.

Think like if the family has a problem of blood not clotting or fast enough. Now two members of that family having kids together will only worsen the blood clot defect as the kids will have worse issues

All this happened and are still happening because of "inferiority complex". Inferiority complex is really killing the mind or the mentality of an average black man. We can never progress with this kind of mindset.

The question is why can't we develop our solve our huge problems with homegrown ideas and radical solutions? Why do we need to continue to depend on the foreign ideas to solve local impasses? Why do we not innovate enough to produce for our own consumption and enough for export, and go beyond the colonial cash crop mentality, and become less dependent on other nation for sustenance?
