ofeoilly:
Our reaction here is proper. We love our women, mothers, sisters, wife and daughter. I did be worried if they were cool with the trend and popular demand 4 igbo wife by yorubas and benin men.(fashionable) It is further clear that girls born out of such union will suffer wat yoruba women suffer, becos they too will not be as good as igbo women, in the eye of yoruba and benin men, who will keep running to igbo land for the priceless igbo girl, once they make money.
It's obvious you haven't venture into other areas than igbo land, pardon me if it sound insulting cause I believe if you have then you won't say this at all. People who ain't beclouded with tribal sentiment have always found it easy to marry into any tribe of their choice. I have dated guys from east, north and west and I can tell you I don't rate one area than the other, all I see is good and bad people. I try as much as possible not to comment on any tribal issue on nairaland cause there's so much hatred here that makes me wonder if igbos on nairaland are different from the ones I relate with or perhaps they just more educated and exposed.
Well I don't know if you are a Christian or not but if you are then, I plead with you to be careful, hatred isn't of God. Remember the summary of the law-Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your might and love your neighbours as yourself, above there is no other law. I know the greater percentage of igbo are Christians and it makes me wonder if they read their bible at all. You can't claim you love God when you can't even love people from other tribes.
And if perhaps you are an atheist, I want to believe that you support the golden rule which is do unto other what you will have them do to you. So if you know you won't be cool with people insulting and making jest of your tribe, than please stop doing that other tribe. I know there are many more out there but let the change begin from you.

Once a yoruba man make abit of money, he runs to SS/SE to marry.

At the end of the day, it is yoruba that will end the biggest loser.

Inter-tribal marriage cannot stop Nigeria from disintegrating. It is not a measure of unity.

Isreal and Arab marry each other, yet hate each other with passion.

The white man that enslave black and call them monkey, still turn around to marry the same black.

Does it make them united?

Yoruba will end the loser, i just hope igbo men dont join them.
grin grin
And you think they married each other just to keep igbo and Yoruba United, it funny how you think, you know

The useless gold diggers are good at spending men's money but have nothing to offer in return than open their smelly pusssies. I pity the unfortunate men that will marry these ones as wife. I rather travel to the Arctic to search for a woman than marry a Nigerian girl. Nigerian girls are mostly hungry in nature. No brain, no sense. All they do is jump from dick to dick all for material gains. Useless never do wells angry

#Team foreign girls
You will rejected Nigerian girls that you can easily do a background check on but will rather marry a foreign girls whose upbringing and lifestyle you know next to nothing about just because she is foreign, I don't just seems to understand naija crazy for anything tag foreign. Mind you there are bad and good girls everywhere home or abroad just pray God gives you a good wife and not a foreign wife cause who you marry actually matter for you to fulfil you Destiny and be happy in life

(First post in this thread for reference https://www.nairaland.com/3307679/bromleigh-mccleneghan-sex-before-marriage/7#48778442)

So this is really postmarital sex

It is not a guarantee, but it contributes. It COULD be a guarantee. It makes things more workable. Being based with one partner is ok because of a number of reasons. Without the erotisism problem the position of a partner can be allocated much better. Because with it there is much less (too little) self control. EVEN: one can change the partner to be based with from a Christian perspective. If understanding the great commandment. The part about God is vague in general. But this can be solved.

Erotisism can be compared with eating.

Eating --> about life
Erotisism --> reproduction, also life
Of course there is space to choose and do anything that is preferred.

I feel I should explain or say this: I am posting in the South now. This works more flexible then in the North. This is objective. I mean to show what I see.
Am sorry but I find it difficult to comprehend what you have written. can you please rephrase, so they I can understand you better, thanks

I didn't insult you but you decided to.
I just have to say this, I feel you are MFM member and you feel the need to defend your church but you are doing it the wrong way. Am not cool with the stupidity tag attach to your post, if you are a Christian then let it reflect in all you do and most especially in your conduct in public. Please be mindful of how you represent Christ, thanks.

FamilyRe: Photo Of Mother Kissing Her Daughter On Her Wedding Day That Got People by quintybabe(f): 9:46am On Aug 26, 2016
This is gross! I would have said there is nothing wrong if it's just a kiss on the lips but sticking her tongue into her daughter's mouth shocked that is something else. Although I doubt the mother-daughter caption cause ain't seeing no mother and daughter here rather two grown up women in their 40s making out in public
Christianity EtcRe: Bromleigh McCleneghan: Sex Before Marriage Is Good by quintybabe(f): 9:27am On Aug 25, 2016
I have a question for those encouraging premarital sex. Does good sex guarantee a happy home? Does it mean nothing can go wrong in marriage as long as the sex is good among partners?
Let us face reality as much as sex is important in marriage it isn't what guarantee good and successful marriage and as long as you are willing to work on other aspect of your marriage then poor or bad sex between partners can be corrected if both partners are committed in building their marriage
Let me say this also, as Christians bible is our standard and not prophets or pastors, bible already made us know that in the last day there will be several doctrines aimed at deceiving the saints, please let be wise, so that we will not miss out at the end.

Well, its kinda true bro. Love is a serious mental disease. I used to be a playa right from time and funny enough, these girls r doin normal. When I got admission into 100l, first Sem .. I had 2 girls. 2nd sem. Drop them for another set f girls. That's the way iv been switching girls until I got to 400l. After much advice from fellas tht I shld jst try n be in a relationship. So I decided to try it out . I met this girl and fall in love with her bro. I fall in love Paa. Hmm ( smiless) ... Go wash cloth for her, cook for her, a lot of house chores for her. Mehn, it got to a stage that the lady told me the love is too much, that can I plz reduce it , that she's not feelin convenient anymore. LOL. To cut the story short, She eventually broke my heart. Mehn, No be small drama oo something wey neva happend to me b4. Everythin is over now. I'm quite okay. The only thing I think I got to know about myself is those things that I did while I love wif her. I neva blv I could do such. And it has made me blv my wife would enjoy me when I gt married. But iv come to realise this, That girls tends to do normal when a guy isn't normal with them than when a guy is normal with them ...
I no pity you at all :PYou were given a taste of your poison, hope you now know how it feels to be jilted as you did a lot of that before. Hence, think twice before you break a girl's heart, I just hope you have learnt your lesson

But the Love no be here cause I was too matured for age(I just wrote my WAEC and she was serving in a bank)... We both knew we won't go anywhere with our "love" but we gave it a try.. She got married three years later and I almost died!! I felt used and betrayed but she just have to move on and I can't hold her back. But my question still remained "why fall for me since you know we'll never make ithuh
I sincerely doubt she was in love with you though if she were, she would still have moved on cause of the age difference. She no try at all cause she shouldn't have gotten herself involve with you cause you were young and naive and am sure she knows better. I guessed as a young man you were at that time, you must have loved her based on what you thought love was at that age. Please don't get yourself invole in such an affair again.

#fortheloveofbooks The Sacred Search by Gary Thomas

If you are a Christian single who is serious about his/her faith, do NOT get married until you read The Sacred Search (Gary Thomas). It sets things in proper perspective. Very amazing book. Recommended it to all my friends and they couldn't thank me enough.

Typical yoruba, you are afraid of provoking fulanis but East must be provoked at will.
Just an observation, throughout ur posts u kept on addressing ppl as Yoruba this or Yoruba that, yet you are using a Yoruba Monika. Quit the pretence please, why use a particular tribal name just to insult the tribe. I usually don't respond to tribal issue on NL but I couldn't just ignore your comments.

What I think is your ex feels guilty for how she had treated you and told her man all about it and the guy wants to be sure that you ain't holding anything against her, The pray for her part is actually a proof. It's nothing to worry about, just move on with your life. I don't advice you do what he suggested, in mean the call and pray for her, just forgive her .

Am reading scandalous women: the lives and loves of history's most notorious women. It quite and interesting piece, some of the women I have read about and some I haven't until I downloaded the book. The women are grouped into seven; the warrior queens, the wayward wives, the seductress, crusading ladies, wild women of the west, amorous artists and amazing adventuresses. If you have been fascinated with historical women like Cleopatra, Joan of arc, Mata hari to mention a few, then you will find the historical summary of the lives of these women interesting.
If you are interested, please drop your mail and mind you the book is in epub format.

Hmmmm....interesting piece. I guess the delay in making the readers know the chairman's feelings towards saruyi made it interesting up to a point. But i think the writer should have made the ending more eventful....making us enjoy their happily ever after moments in details. lol
It's just a summary you know but of a truth, it was only few pages that was dedicated to saruyi's romance with the chairman.
