Avoid legal action from who? The last time I checked, homosexuality is forbidden by law in Nigeria. Please, tell us which cartoon progs have these homosexual themes. |
Everything about Trump is fraudulent. I ain't surprised. |
With the events of the last two days, Brexit seems to have been an excellent decision. |
Dearth of topics with relevant content these days. |
Just two comments and this is already on the front page. Wow! |
True change will be APC ensuring these recruitments are based on merits alone, and these are issues one would expect senators of southern origin to be vocal. And I must say, this current SGF under Buhari has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons |
The Aisha cited in those documents is not the same as Buhari's wife. Fayose knows this, and he is just being mischievous. Fayose will end up behind bars, it's only a question of time. |

This man is always in the news for the wrong reasons. |
Op, if what you've written above is true, I'll advice you seek God's face about it all, "...and whatever He tells you, do it." |
I just lost the last shred of respect I had left for those SS Governors. How president Buhari handles this will become part of his legacy as our president. |
They should blame their greedy and corrupt governors and leaders. In his 6 years as president, what exactly did Goodluck do for them? |
Finally, it is becoming obvious Ben Bruce is a fraud. How can you be silent through the 6 years of Jonathan's misrule and suddenly develop common sense within the last 10 months. And as for pedigree, I still think he failed a major test when he headed NTA. |
@Op What do you mean "does Lagos state still have a governor?" This is a very private matter, one citizen taking a couple of other citizens to court for not honouring a business agreement. That's why we have the courts. |
This Abati who should hide in shame for the shameful role he played in Jonathan's govt is the one insulting Rev Fr Mbaka? No sense of blushing anymore. Mbaka will be vindicated because he stood on the side righteousness. |
Nigeria could not have survived another 4 years of Jonathan's MISRULE |
@OP, I have two questions for before offering my counsel: 1. Did your brother sleep with her while they were together? 2. How do you think your brother will react to this? |
Here's an offer for you: N1.4M |
It is obvious a lot of money and effort went into the planning of this, but it was poorly organised. I kept making excuses for all the little mistakes, but I got tired as the mistakes were just too much. Ayo Animashaun should get professionals to handle EVERY aspect of the headies. |

You start by writing that you are not here to paint anybody bad, and in the next breath, you call the COAS Gen "push up" Buratai. Paradox. Back to your questions, the COAS was on his way to attend the graduation ceremony of some new young military officers, and pay homage to some Emir in the town. You don't expect him to stay holed up in Maiduguri permanently because of Boko Haram without attending to his other duties. And for actually relocating to the cente of the insurgency in the North East, he is totally different from Jonathan's COAS who was whoring away and getting drunk everyday somewhere in town. Lastly, I do not condone lawlessness or extrajudicial killing by law enforcement agencies but that Islamic Movement sect had become a law unto themselves. Ask any one living in Kaduna, Kano or Katsina, people are afraid of them. During this last procession of theirs they blocked one entire side of a federal road for four days, occupying different schools along the way without permission and generally being a nuisance to everyone. Let them learn to respect other people's religion/rights whilst practicing theirs. |
This wedding held at the Grandeur in Lagos. I did not atend, but a lot of people I know did. |
The Transformation Agenda has only transformed the pockets of PDP members and their cronies. |
Madam Ogar of the SSS and that crass Minister of Police were threatning to arrest and prosecute anybody making inflammatory statements towards the elections. It's been almost a week since those thugs made those threats in the presence of the governor of Bayelsa state and they were widely reported in the media. Jimi Agbaje made a similar statement too. Let it be told those goons loudly, no amount of threat of violence or actual violence will restrain Nigerians from voting this corrupt and clueless govt. out of power come Feb. 14! |
Many of us just cannot stomach the truth. Even when it stares us in the face, we turn to self-delusion. The simple reasons why it has almost been impossible for our soldiers to overrun Boko Haram in the North are corruption and deceit. The annual Defence budget for the last 3 years have consistently been over 1 Trillion Naira each year, and our we cannot better equip and arm our soldiers. For those saying this news is false or those accusing those soldiers of foul play, do you know how many soldiers have been charged with mutiny simply because they complained or fled when they saw the enemies having better equpments? Do you even know how many soldiers have lost their lives because the enemy knew their battle plan ahead and simply ambushed them? This current corrupt government has benefitted tremendously from the insecurity situation. There is likely NOT going to be elections in those 3 North Eastern states (supposedly states likely to vote Buhari) because of the insurgency. The money meant for security keeps ending up in the pockets of corrupt PDP officials. Buhari may not make Nigeria perfect, but from his antecedents, i'm sure he will lead better than Jonathan. It IS time for change. |
CNN just aired an interview of two Nigerian soldiers posted to Maiduguri. The first one (his back to the camera) said they use their own personal funds to buy their own military kit which includes their uniforms, boots etc. The second one (his face darkened so as not to reveal his identity) brought out a medical bill, and claims they personally cover their own medical bills. And he went on to say many of his colleagues run away from Boko Haram attacks because they are better armed and equipped. |

This is a tribute to one of Nigeria's most patriotic sons. Like him or hate him, Pastor Tunde Bakare is one bold and outspoken preacher of righteousness who never shies away from speaking truth to power. From the horrible days of IBB, no Federal Government administration has escaped his rod of rebuke and correction. You may fault him for his style or approach, but you can never pin on him any corruption or immoral tag. This is to celebrate a truly visionary and iconoclastic leader. May your days be long and well on the earth sir! And may you see the new Nigeria you have been praying for, fighting for and prophesying about! Happy Birthday Pastor Gbolahan Babatunde Bakare! |
All these because he built a stadium with state funds? We have become a people who celebrate mediocrity. And they keep shouting "uncommon transformation"...these people need a trip to Dubai to see real uncommon transformation, how a desert within 2 decades transformed to an international tourist destination. |
No "king" bows to another "king"...no matter how older the one may be than the other. This pictures were obviously taken before Sanusi became the Emir of Kano. He can't even go anywhere now without wearing the Emir's robe and holding his staff. |
