Are you against the $500 I said or what? What is your point? You collected $500 for your first job, which I am not against. Like I said, I won't blame a first timer collecting $500.
My point is clear sir. Okay if $500 is what you can get. Person go sha chop. Na beating down offers dey ridiculous.

Nothing dey happen!

Our people rained more curses than this during the slave trade, after their children were sold off. Today, the great grand children of the slave masters are still chopping life and enjoying themselves. Most of the families of those who they took into slavery are still living in penury. These curses don't work...not even when your greed pushed you into a ponzi scheme.

If it had turned out well, you'll be one of those saying "what God can not do does not exist". Please bear your misfortunes, learn lessons and move on.
It could have been the actual slaves that rained curses on Africa and her sons. So now their grandchildren are chopping life and Africa is in penury grin

Company that wants to call will call. I have not even finish learning let alone applying but I won't blame people collecting $500 per month as salary. If you have gone a day without food, you will understand that condition can make one do anything.
In 2019, I was without job for around 6 months. I use all of that time to learn web development intensively. Had just rented an apartment in Lagos (before losing my last job) and was running out of funds. I got a new job about six months after the last one and paid me 150k. Please note, it was my first web dev job and 150k at that time was just around $500.

I know not everyone is like me, and wouldn't rule out Allaah's Mercy, yet hunger should be what opens your eyes to the reality you have to move fast. It shouldn't kill your brain cells so much you blow your greatest chances at having a home of your home, a car and, overall, a stable life. Understandable if that's what they're offering and you're pressed, but even beating down their offer? angry

I would say a beginner can accept anything as their first gig just to get their foot in the door. But can you imagine a developer with 2 to 3 years experience who has shipped code to production many times asking for $500/month at interviews?
Even Nigerian companies pay better than this nowadays. Why would I suffer for Oyinbo knowing my teammate, with same responsibility as me, is getting paid x 10 of my money. Soon they'll snap out of it. Will go low on motivation and may find it hard to continue or even burnt out.

In my experience, how much a companies pays is relative to how much it respects you. Don't bite yourself in the tail guys. This is your chance at breaking yourself, your parents, siblings and coming generation out of poverty. Might be a sin to lose it.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Leading A Protest During Goodluck Jonathan's Government (Throwback Photo) by Qzeems: 7:33am On Aug 06, 2020
This reflects the failure of the opposition more. Buhari was opposition and did all this. Today's opposition has left the fight for ordinary Nigerians and lays in wait to reap the benefits.

People are already shouting PDP. Must it be PDP? PDP as a party failed in governance and as an opposition.

its stupid because u don't know this man in question, but u have concluded with your myopic fallacy that you suspect he already has eyes on the 15 yr old girl..

grow up old man
Believe me, this is the crazy thing about people sometimes. They do worse things and point at others. Imagine someone saying a man is likely having an affair with his wife's teenage relative and then saying people shouldn't be calling a woman her own husband said is wicked wicked.

Which is worse? But no, na big grammar. "cognitive thinking" my foot.

If you over pamper your househelp hmmmm, you're already becoming a suspect to your wife. Put her in the decision to give money for househelp clothes.... Some women can even suspect your sister.
I think it'd be better to let the girl go than the wife deciding her affairs (cuz she won't be nice to her).

Why are you engaging a minor as househelp? Why. Both you and your wife, you are horrible.
And you have talked like this o! If you have a kid 15 years old she will do nothing in the house? Now think about a girl you put roof on her head, feed, clothe and send to school. But because he said "househelp" your brain is telling you Nollywood.
PropertiesRe: Magodo Ph 2 Estate Levy. Is This Legal? by Qzeems: 7:48am On Sep 13, 2019
Ukpaindubuisi:
I think it is legal for a ''community" to impose levies or communal dues or even force a person to do some labour for the development of the community. This view is derived from Section 34 (1) (c) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended), which provides that every individual is entitled to respect for the dignity of his person, and accordingly no person shall be required to perform forced or compulsory labour.

Subsection (2)(f) of section 34 further provides that for the purposes of subsection (1) (c) of this section, Forced or Compulsory labour does not include ''normal communal or other ''civic obligations'' for the well being of the community''.

Therefore, a person can be made to perform normal communal labour or perform other civic obligations for the well being of the community. In this case the MRA has the legal and moral right to ask residence of the Estate to perform their civic obligation (pay the agreed fees). It is now up to the residents to hold them accountable for the money so collected.
I think this doesn't make it legal for the MRA to do so. When it says "can be made" it didn't say "by the community". And "what is normal communal and civic obligations" is decided by who? Definitely not the community

Many Nigerians truly have the IQ of 1.57 and that’s why it’s very easy to deceive them. Study wide, watch documentary’s and be a critical thinker. Do Nigerians know that religion was created by MEN to try understand the universe? Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism etc are all made by MEN to try explain a complex system. None is correct, yet none is false.
Now for Christians, during the time of emperor Constantine (325 AD) he summoned the bishops and pope to a meeting called the “council of Nicea”, and this is because there was division in the religion as some set called the Gnostic have a different approach such as they believe Christ was married to Mary magdalene and she bore a son as well as other things. Constantine called for the formation of a Bible, the expulsions of the Gnostics and Easter date unchanged. That was where a single Christianity was born. Even at the meeting a bishop was quoted to have said “it will do the people good to believe in the myth of jesus”.
Majority of the passage in the Bible wasn’t written by men possessed with the “Holy Spirit” but by cleaver scholars and that’s why sometimes you notice a clash in the passages; just like Christ was quoted saying “I come not to steal, kill... but bring eternal life, yet he was again quoted saying “if you think I come to make peace then you are deceived for I bring not peace but a sword”.
Do Christians know that 80% of the New Testament was from one man? And his name PAUL. Yes apostle Paul. And he did not write the passages but the passages were written based on his letters to the church, hence you have been quoting a letter not a “Holy Spirit” message. Do you know the cannon was highly scrutinized before publication, ie about 70% of written scriptures ain’t included such as the apocalyptic gospel of peter, the gospel of Judas, the act of Paul and Thelca, the complete book of Solomon, the complete gospel of peter etc.

I feel I am talking much and as Nigerians find it hard they may not read this anyway but if you need to know why they were excluded or more of the Whites Man Christianity, then just quote and ask for more.

I give you the lost gospels rejected from the Bible cause the early church wanted absolute control of the masses.

So far you mentioned many religions, but only related how one is invented.
Please complete your arguments.

I am not a Christian neither do i belong to any Religion whatsoever, but i do believe Religion is still an absolute necessity For a lot of people, especially those from Third world countries like Nigeria! Yes, and here's why i think so: :
I am a deist, or theist at best, But contrary to my previous beliefs, i don't think our people, that is, ordinary Nigerians are Ready for the Raw undiluted truths about Reality and Life just yet. Religion was designed by a Group of Extremely smart men as a Tool for General mental slavery for the masses by playing on the mind of the individual, Providing them with easy answers to the most fundamental questions we ask as humans, Thereby keeping them all away from seeking further truths, and instead more concerned about other less complex things. The Truth is that this has really helped in keeping the masses in a tightly controlled state and also helped avoid the chaos that would occur if people discovered the real truths about Reality and Life itself. I do think the decline of Religion is inevitable and someday, our future generations to come will look back and laugh at how stupid we were for actually Believing some of the most unrealistic, extremely obvious fables man has ever known, and still claim to be advanced people. But That is still a long way to come and as for now, people especially in countries like Nigeria don't need to know the Raw truths just yet, Imagine a Murderer or a kidnapper,or a robber or rapist eventually turning to an atheist?? Doesn't sound too Nice right? What will be the inner force that will torment their conscience after committing Horrible acts? Some people haven't developed stable minds up to this time, to be able to act Right and possess good moral standards without religion just yet. So most people still need Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed and the rest in their lives for now before they can talk about moving on to deeper truths. So contrary to my previous beliefs that we as a people need to be free from Religious slavery, I now realize that Religion is absolutely necessary to Help maintain Order in the Society so for now, Daddy freeze should let Christians and other people practicing their various religions to be. This is my own take on this Topic.
So you mean you're an atheist?
OK, continue.

Mscheeew, All this parable to allow men cheat on thier wives because you feel they won't get emotional attachment to the side chicks, for me that's pure crap!!!

Why will u cheat on me and you feel i won't retaliate by reciprocating? Do you know how many temptation women go through everyday resisting the advances of randy men? Even while dating, you will see a grown man begging to be just a side nigga and d girl will be saying i love my Bf and i can't cheat on him. Only for the guy u are loving to go to one low life babe and "straff" her without remorse and feel good with himself?
In as much as i hate cheating, I feel the men should step up thier games by becoming more devoted and committed.

Not all the fishes in the river are edible
Isn't it dog eating dogs' flesh? A woman sees a married man but still runs after him because of his money or whatever.

And about you. If your husband cheats on you and you pay in same coin. I hope when you get pregnant for your boyfriend you will not lie about it and force the poor man to feed another man's child (maybe twins sef).

Think of the guilt. If you think you can live with it, then you've only confirmed that article.

How can a man speak for a woman?

You say women are very emotional and have
sex with emotions attached?.....well ......where does this analysis placed the rungirls and the prostitutes or are they not women.?
Women enjoys sex much more than men, it is just the society that made it seem otherwise.
The prostitutes don't enjoy sex. I heard a porn actress say something like this. She even affirmed having to feel something inside too really enjoy sex. She affirmed that porn is a show nothing there is real.

So for prostitutes it is a chore not something spectacular. Any man that has had sex with a woman who saw the act more like a chore can tell "it's the worst".

And it doesn't have to be a woman to talk about woman. Psychologists are not all women, but they can state the mindset of any human.
It's a study I believe.
