I suppose they only do this for scanned bank statements and not SOA presented via mybankstatement (MBS), right?

Authenticity also includes balance or not? A friend is currently having same issue now... She was given procedural fairness and I think an Agent altered her figures. If it has nothing to do with balance then she won’t be facing such now

The letter ircc sent to banks is like this
Confirm if this person is the rightful owner and duely operates account number 1234567890 with your bank, confirm the balanceas at the given time and one more thing I can't remember.

Please at the bolded, alot of applicants worry about this, can you please share if the confirmation requested by Canada IRCC of bank statement was within or outside the period (date) you shared in the statement submitted?
What exactly did they want confirmed?

It will help others to put their mind at ease, as people as questions like can IRCC see their entire bank transactions or bank balance months after applying.

What are they (IRCC) after in their letter of bank statement confirmation please.....eg. account balance, Inflow/outflows within the period and or genuity of the bank statement? Could you please shed more light a beg?......we dey learn everyday.... waiting to hear from you pretty soon.rgds

January 15th 2022 applicant. My application is 5 months 8 days old with no update since the last update in Feb. 22 on my passed upfront medicals. My eligibility review has not started. Is this a good or bad sign ? I don wait sotey, I don dey lose weight. I know with God on his throne, my PPR will show before this week runs out. Waiting God no fit do, no dey exist. Na zo !! The visa officer making the final decision will most likely disregard and waive the interview. So this is a positive sign and congratulations in advance

I don't know if anyone is in my shoe. I am January 15th 2022 applicant without no significant update from IRCC. My eligibility review has not commenced. This is really frustrating. I know God will intervene and my story will change for good before the week runs out.

My dear better to defer o. And pls check there should be deadline to defer for your school. Me i had to defer mine to september. They just sent mine new offer letter.
