I flew in to Jo'burg Sunday morning with Kevin's sister and Dad and having been following the show on this forum, I could'nt help but ask the sister if she were aware of this thread. She wasn't and i informed her of how fanatically folks here have been voting and having sleepless nights just to make sure that Kevin won the grand prize. I asked her to make sure that he logs on here and see the support he has here and how forumites were strategically voting to make sure he won and that a word of thanks from him will go a long way for most of his fans here.

Is Lagos safe? I used to leave alone at Ikoyi and i went to bed without even bothering to close my doors(really) it felt very safe.

Recently i moved to Victoria Garden City(Nice house by the lagoon) or so i thought but about six weeks ago armed robbers came into our house about 11.45 pm, robbed us and even shot my Cousin 4 times with an AK-47.

VGC is supposed to be one of the safer sides of Lagos but we were robbrd and i bet you the bad guys did'nt even break a sweat with all the hype and security guards, cops showing of all over the place.

The management of the estate have been trying to play it down cos you know it is bad for business so there you go, hope you do find some "safe" in Lagos but i really thought it.
