This is the most uncultured, guttered and irresponsible behaviour from a supposed Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
This is utterly disgusting, embarrassing and pathetic. I'm so infuriated as I write this for the level of disrespect to womanhood as shamelessly displayed by this moronic man of zero dignity and respect. A man lacking in decorum, decency and integrity, a woman beater and serial cheat.
A man given to loose character who sees women as commodity to be purchased off the shelf. This is the same man that once impregnated a nollywood actress and outrightly denied the pregnancy and went about the issue so shamelessly.
His type shouldn't be found in the hallow chamber making laws for the rest of us. I'm so angry as I write this for a man of his calibre and pedigree to be so uncouth as to loosely talk down on a woman, a respectable woman of Mrs Tinubu status, a fellow Senator, a mother and a leader.
How did this rat find his way to the Senate for God's sake? I'm very sure Melaye is sick and needs to be urgently chained and bundled to a psychiatric hospital to have his head properly examined.

Do you know background of ATTA'HIYYAAT, as to why we recite it in every namaz?

Attahiyyaat is a very important 'Dua' we repeat it in our daily prayers. When I learnt the importance of this, it melted my heart.

Attahiyat is actually a part of conversation between Our Creator Allah SWT and our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu'alayhi wasallam during his journey of Al Isra Wal Miraj.

When Prophet Muhammad Sallalahualayhiwasallam met Allah SWT, he didn't say 'Assalam aleikum'. What is someone going to say when he meets Allah ? We can't wish HIM peace because ALL sources of peace are through HIM.

So Prophet Muhammad Sallalahualayhiwasallam said:

"Attahiyyaatu Lillahi Was Salawatu Wattayyibatu" (All compliments, all prayer and worship are for Allah)

Allah replied:
"Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhannabiyyu 'Warahmatullahi Wabarka'tuhu" (Peace be upon you, Oh Prophet and Allah's Mercy and Blessings).

To this, Prophet Muhammad sallalahualayhiwasallam replied:
"Assalamu Alaina Wa'ala'Ibadillahis Saa'liheen" (Peace be on us and on all good slaves of Allah)

Note* Prophet Muhammad sallalahualayhiwasallam included "us" in his reply... (and on all good slaves of Allah)

And listening to this conversation between Allah and His Messenger sallalahualayhiwasalam, the Angels said:
"Ash'had'u'un La ilahaillallahu Wa Ash'hadu Anna Muhammadun Abd'uhu Wa Rasooluh"
(I bear witness that no one is worthy of worship except Allah And I bear witness that Muhammad is His Messenger).

SubhanAllah!
I now understand the importance of this conversation in our daily prayers and how the Salat was prescribed to us.

Who can type the nastiest insults? Who can inspire the vilest hate? Who can provoke the bloodiest ethno-religious sentiments? I hope these are not the future leaders of Nigeria. They can talk the country into another civil war. It is terrifying.
Anonymity has helped a lot of cowards build sheds on the internet — to promote and provoke hate and mischief. There is a reason I am active on social media, apart from sharing articles from websites. It is to understand other people view even if i dont agree with them but pick the positives therein.
