FamilyRe: My New Wife Hates My Family Without Provocation by rainbow88: 7:44pm On Sep 14, 2017
amliftedhigher:
Good morning wonderful nairalanders.

I Am having a very delicate family issues now. I am an only son of my family and 5 sisters all married, since I brought my wife to be to them they all love her with passion and they keep telling me to take good care of the girl, they keep warning me not to treat her bad.
My sister love my Wife with passion including my aged mother but my wife to be in return hates them openly to me.

She doesn't like me mention them before her or discuss any thing with them. But she adores her family so much. We have finished traditional marriage remaining church wedding which is next two weeks from today.

During our preparations my family has noticed her long mute with them in issues of our wedding arrangement, they ask me but I told them that my wife is a shy type that doesn't talk too much but I was lying.

N/B they have not done anything evil to her and they will not think about it because they all fear me but my confusion Now is why my wife hates them? One of my sister lives in the same city with my wife but she hardly visits her.

My fellow comrades please what do I do? I can't hate my sisters because they and their husbands train me in the university . I came from a poor home but seeing the love I have for education all My sisters and their husbands swear that I must attend university . My God's grace I am working in one of the best organization in the country now am comfortable. Do I chase my family away now because of a woman I am getting married to? Help am confused.

Thanks in anticipation
Nothing from your story shows that she hates them. If you think she does, confront her. Take your decision based on her response
RomanceRe: How Can I Get My Man To Do The "Door Knocking"? by rainbow88: 7:17pm On Sep 14, 2017
yasmina85:
My BF and I have been together fo years (6+). We both have good jobs, we're both well in our 30s, I think we love each other (I sure do) and we get along fine.

3 years ago, he wanted me to move in but I said no, not before marriage.
Since then, it's been the status quo. We spend time together either at his place or mine.
When I bring up going to my father he deflects with something like "don't worry, it's coming"; "I'll go when I'm ready, be patient"...

Last year, I got mad and sort of gave him an ultimatum. He said he would but was still draging his feet.
I became bitter, he felt over pressured and we started fighting and arguing for everything.
We eventually broke up and spent almost a year appart. He came back 6 months ago and things are like when we first met smiley

The problem is, I feel like for him, it's a whole new relationship and we have to let it mature like any new RS.
For me, we just took up where we left so we've been dating long enough. He either commit or leave me alone.

I don't want to lose him but I can't do this anymore. I really don't know why he can't bring himself to at least do the door knocking.

Please what can I do ?? undecided
Two things! You don't want to lose him & You can't do this anymore. It has to be one of them. They are on two opposite sides. You know where it hurts you most. Chose & let it not take long
RomanceRe: My Girlfriend Slept With Our Last Born by rainbow88: 8:22am On Sep 01, 2017
Saliman22:
Good morning my wonderful family, I had an issue with my girl 2015 which I open a thread here in romance section, we settled early this year,.

Lemme go straight to the point, I work with micro finance bank which I don't normally have time, my girl is on her IT at ministry of health in my state, what happened yesterday shocked me, my church is having a youth conference currently going on now in Anambra state, for the past two weeks now I'm in the village, she don't normally go to her IT place telling me that there are on malaria program which she don't considered it useful according to her.

What happen yesterday I'm still in shocked right now that is like I'm dreaming which I'm not.
It was past 11pm at night that my girl woke up and shout dear dear and I asked her what happen, then she narrated how she had a dream and I was killed in the dream, I was like what is going on because someone warned me about this month that I should be careful, so I went outside immediately with my Bible and olive oil for prayers. I was in the middle of the compound praying and I asked her to wait for me and she said she cannot wait, that she feared standing alone at night, my compound has a very big gate o, now she went inside my last born room and I was still praying.

Some spirit entered me and I stopped half way and to my surprise ever when I stop she couldn't come out and I waited small and it wasn't up to 2mins she came outside and asked me to wait for her and I didn't wait, she followed me, when I came to the house, I didn't talk to her for some minute and she asked me what the problem is and I explained to her that she should stop that thing that is going on with my last born. She said she's surprised that I could think about this kind of a thing and she's not stupid to have make love with my brother, I told her immediately that I want to make love to her and she said until we finished our discussion and I objected and go straight there and put my hand, behold she was extra wet, so at this point I went inside my last born room and called him to come and the boy followed me.

I now asked him to knell down and he did, at this point I brought out a cable and asked him to tell me why she make love to my woman, at this point my girl knell down and started crying, both of them confess that I did it twice. I now asked my girl the reason she did this even when she knew I was praying, she didn't give me a concrete answer.

So this things has been going on under my roof and I have spent my hard earned money for my brother and her.

Pls I need your advice. Pls what can I do, this morning I have called her aunty to inform her, and she said I should meet her on Saturday.

Pls help me brother and sisters.
I need help Pls.
This might sound harsh! But if you can sleep with someone that is not yet your wife, why can't your brother do same?

Shortyy:
Where in the Bible was it written? Live and let live Biko.
OK. It's written in the Bible. So what? Are you God? Y'all are sinning too. No one is without sin, there is no single person that isn't committing sin or all sorts of atrocities. Y'all will go behind doors do your thing, and come on here to judge others. Tsk. We all are sinners.

So I'll advice you all to mind your business, mind your own sins, let God be judge. I'm sure that's in the Bible too?

To those quoting me, well y'all can kiss my shinny ass.
It's true we all sin. That doesn't make sin right. We shouldn't sit & watch someone like MI come out and say it should be allowed. I'm sure that's what everybody is fighting

A time will come when orgs will not employ you if you are against homosexuals.
Well that's fine! It's their organization! That won't stop those who would say the truth from saying it

MI i know, SDot who? No wonder his career is yet to kick off else he would have known that there's a difference between a sin and a crime.
Because you don't know him doesn't make what he said wrong

Sincerely, this rapper has no point...

Isnt fornication a sin? Address the topic and stop bringing the Bible into this.

Someone with valid point should speak up abeg.
Brother I don't know what you're fighting. He is addressing the sin MI was talking about. We need to bring the Bible into the discussion cos it's from it we know what's sin & what's not

Change is constant,
Nothing is permanent in this life
Isn't it funny how Jonathan turned from looter to lootee.

God will keep punishing GEJ for looting this country dry using his cronies.
So bec

Now he knows what it feels like to be looted.
so because to you looting him now serves as a purnishment & you don't like the man, looting in this case is permissible?

PoliticsRe: Senators Crack Jokes Over Buhari’s Remarks On Wife by rainbow88: 11:59am On Oct 20, 2016
solace2013:
AISHA BUHARI AND THE TRAGEDY OF HYPOCRISY IN NIGERIA
Dr. Doyin Odebowale writes:
I have read so much on Aisha since yesterday. Nigerians are a special breed. Suddenly, this woman is
not wanted in America! Buhari did not marry a child again. Her gold, diamond and platinum bracelets are
not topics for discussion.
We are moving out of recession indeed! Many of the hypocrites on Facebook beat their wives. Many are
so useless that they establish pepper soup joints for some useless dogs called women while their
children cannot feed at home. Many don't care about how their children school fees are paid.
Aisha is the CEO of a thriving company. One of Buhari's daughters is a lawyer. His girls are graduates.
I have read posts from some of my friends who, surprisingly, failed to see the statement credited to
Buhari as a joke. I have followed some of them on Facebook. I know most of them will not tolerate any
dissenting view from their wives.
Aisha is not in purdah. She is not confined to the kitchen, literally. I doubt if she still cooks. I would have
expected the new supporters of Aisha to ask Buhari about the location of the kitchen. Is it Aso Villa
where there exists a culinary complex?
Look at Aisha and tell us if she belongs to the category of oppressed women. The fact that she granted
the controversial interview bears eloquent testimony to Buhari's character.
She just returned from the US. That trip generated another kind of controversy. That seems not
important now.
Many of these hypocrites are not proud of their wives. Many of them pretend to love women but will
work against them.
Politicians abuse women sexually. They are play things. They only allow them when their unscrupulous
godfathers impose them and direct political slaves to vote.
Academics talk of "conference materials". These are people's wives, daughters, sisters, cousins, who
belong to everybody while pretending to be in some dubious relationships.
Lucky is she whose husband can proudly assert that she has a place in his bedroom. She is not sharing
this space with any woman to our knowledge. Buhari's religion allows him to marry four women.
If the president attempted to douse tension generated by the wife's interview, and we fail to appreciate
his joke, then our sense of humour appears morbid.
Nigerians did not elect Aisha. She has no official role in the constitution. She cannot decide on who gets
appointed into the government. If she complains that she does not know those in government, it means
Buhari cannot be accused of nepotism.
If she is pained that she is not involved in governance, that is a big plus for him. She was not on the
ballot during the last election. She should not pick ministers and heads of agencies for us.
Is this not part of the change we crave?
Hypocrisy is not a virtue.
I believe she didn't ask for him to appoint anybody of her choice. All she did was state her opinion about a matter. which I believe is not offensive. she only feels some of the so called appointees are hijacking his government & that it may destroy his government. it is left our president to heed to counsel or not. I think she did well as a wife.
If you feel our response as Nigerians are not good enough, fine. why pick on the first lady. Everybody that became a better person took correction @ one point in his life or another, nobody is perfect.
