The Governor got it wrong from inception of the law. The public wasn't carried along enough and now public is fighting back and the computations I have seen so far are not free of error at all.

It's 0.7610 in percent.
IForgotMyLoginD:
I thought they said it’s 0.076% WHY are they calculating it at 0.761% instead of 0.076%? There’s a huge difference na.

With my experience on the land use charge, the computation is mostly overcharged. The best is to consult expert. I can guide if need. Check my signature.

Investment / Excessibe Bank Charge! Beware Of Irrelevant Charges On Your Account by rajidestiny(m): 12:17pm On Mar 12, 2018
It is no longer news that Banks rips-off their customers, but the rate at which they do it these days is becoming alarming. Banks capitalise on the ignorance of their customers as regards banking rules and regulation to rob them of their money. This situation is very dangerous when the bank account of the holder is running on steady overdraft or loan facility.

Below are some common ways at which Banks rip-off their customers.

1 COT is expected to be charged only on valid withdrawals but alas!.

2 Outrageous ATM charges.

3 Loan and overdraft interest above the interest margin allowed. Most bank violates this regulation.

4 Backdating value dates of Debit transactions
5 Excess overdraft interest by applying dual rates for overdraft charges.

6 Charging VAT on interest. VAT is excepted on interest.

7 Hidden loan charges by calculating interest with rate outside monetary regulations and agreed rates.

8 Using unauthorised rates for miscellaneous fees.

9 Charges for SMS notifications are suppose to be free when compare to world class best practice.

* Returned cheques * Renegotiation fee * Above-the-limit charges
* Facility approval * Management fee * Commission on cheques
* Maintenance fee * COT Shortfall fee * Transfer fee

Source- Adesanya and partners.

Be informed and know how charges are made from your account with banks because the act is meticulously exhibited that only when an expert is consulted will you be able to know most especially those transacting in millions. Even electricity distribution companies is not left out of these. Get expert opinion.

Business / Re: REVEALED! Letter Of Loan Agreement Between GTB/INNOSON …the N559 Excess Charges by rajidestiny(m): 5:26pm On Mar 09, 2018
banks has continue to erroneously short charge customers of their hard earned money without customers getting to know(though in this case gtb is proved clean as analysed above), this in most case happen to customers that trade in millions and billions on monthly average, ironically electricity distribution companies are not left out in this practise, we cannot continue doing the same thing the same way and expect different result. My advice is to regularly consult experts in having regular review of your account until we have laws and mode of execution that will withstand test of time. God Bless Nigeria

Protesters Storms Venezuela National Assembly, Beat Lawmaking Politicians To Pulp due to bad governance!

Mob storms opposition-led Venezuelan parliament, attacks politicians

06/07/2017

Venezuelan pro-government activists wielding sticks and pipes stormed onto the grounds of the opposition-held National Assembly Wednesday and beat lawmakers, leaving at least five hurt including three with blood streaming from their heads.

Later, a hundred or so government supporters at the gates of the legislature blocked lawmakers from leaving as a special independence day session of congress turned into a violent, nine-hour siege.

Police and soldiers with shields formed a cordon to keep the government militants at bay as the lawmakers eventually were allowed to leave.

The armed group broke through the gates of the only state institution still nominally controlled by the opposition, in another episode of political violence following three months of chaos in the oil-rich but now poverty-stricken country.

A Dialogue Between Two Igbo Men on WhatsApp

Author: Unknown

Listen, Nwakanwa my brother I understand the frustration. I wish things can work that way. But everything that happens in the world has a precedent and there is something called international law. That's where the elites and intelligentsia are important for the struggle.

John Garange was elite of the South Sudan he was instrumental to the peace talk that led to independence of South Sudan. After he died in a plane crash, Silva Kiir, his lieutenant, who was also another elite, took over and led the country to Independence.

Our people should be very careful so that they do not shoot themselves in the foot. Things do not happen by emotions. The international law does not recognize emotions.

First and foremost Nigeria is an independent sovereign state, a member state of the UN, AU, Commonwealth of Nations and Ecowas. She has diplomatic relations with over 100 countries in the world. Her sovereignty is respected and protected under the UN law, it means that until she decides by herself to partitioned herself, no country in the world will recognize any part of Nigeria that forced itself out of Nigeria.

A country is a country when it is recognized by other countries as a sovereign state recognized by the UN and member states.

I give you an example of what will happen when the elite of Igboland do not engage Nigeria in discussions about self determination. By the way the 1999 constitution does not have any provisions for self determination of any part of the federation like the US or U.K. Constitution, for a debate or discussion to happen about letting a part to go the constitution which is the supreme law of the law must be amended or changed.

This is what will happen if you fail to act within the international law framework. You will become like entities such as Northern Cyprus which broke away from the south in 1974 with the support of Turkish Army; which after 42 years, no country in the world other than Turkey recognized.

The north Cyprus does not do business with any country in the world, they do not have international passport recognized by any country in the world, their citizens are given Turkish citizenship so that they can travel out. Their money is not recognized by world bank and they cannot trade with the outside world. But they have been existing on their own for 42 years now. Currently they are agitating for reunification with the South which is called Greek Cyprus.

This is a precedent to look at. Somaliland was colonized by Britain while Somalia was colonized by Italy. After independence, Somaliland willingly join their Somali brothers to become the republic of Somalia. When civil war broke out in Somalia about 25 years ago, Somaliland which was very peaceful and functioning, withdrew from the Somalia republic.

25 years after, even though Somalia is a failed state and Somaliland has been having peaceful democratic elections and functioning like a state, no country in the would recognized Somaliland as a country. Her citizens are still called Somali and can only travel outside with Republic of Somalia passport.

Somaliland is living on international aid because it cannot do business with any country in the world. Their money cannot exchange for international currencies because it's not recognized by world bank and IMF. This is a precedent in our own Africa.

The two breakaway regions of Georgia known as South Ossetia and Abkhazia are recognized only by Russia more than 10 years after they broke away from Republic of Georgia with Russian support. Till this day only Russia recognized them as a sovereign entity. No one does business with them. In order for them to travel out they took Russian citizenship and obtain Russian passports. But by international law they are still Georgians.

Ukraine conflict is still on till this day. The East broke out of the Ukraine with the help of Russia military. The war is still on. Even though for 3 years the Ukrainian government is not in control of those regions. No country in the world recognized those regions as independent or sovereign states. They are still using Ukrainian currency, Ukrainian passport and the territory is still know as Ukraine.

These are precedents. Don't tell me our own will be different, how? If we push this thing as idiots and unintelligent people, Nigeria will make us suffer like never before.

They will stop salaries and pensions coming to East Nigeria like Ukraine did to their East. They will put economic blockade on the East that you can't even ship your produces out nor bring importation in. They can make the life of the Eastern region living hell.

It takes a man who think with his head rather than his heart to know all these. It takes a person who employ reasoning rather than emotions to look for precedents. I still maintain that for things to run it course in accordance with international law only the elites and the intelligentsia can move it forward and engage Nigeria in meaningful discussion.

If Biafra will ever become an acceptable republic in the world and enjoy all the privileges as a sovereign nation, only Nigeria will grant her independence from the federation like the Ethiopia did to Eritrea, like Sudan did to South Sudan , like Serbia did to Montenegro.

Lets use common sense people. Emotions only let the odds happen.

Education / Bring Back Our Management Courses In FUNAAB by rajidestiny(m): 10:47pm On Jun 23, 2017
Dear Acting President Sir, thro' Hon. Min. of Education:

Texas A & M University, founded as an Agricultural University in 1871 with about 1,000 ha of land, today has over 46,000 students taking more than 140 courses including Economics, Accounting, Philosophy, Agriculture and so on.

FUNAAB, founded in 1988 with 10,000 ha of land, has about 12,000 students taking courses in Agriculture, Engineering, Management Sciences and few others.

Why stop FUNAAB from running management courses? Modern Agriculture is big business. Do you get it, Sirs? Pls return Management Sciences to FUNAAB in the national interest. Thank you, Sirs.

Tale of a Nigerian Graduate.

By Raji Ibrahim

I think praying for life after service in most cases is like praying for hell in Nigeria, pray and work hard to get admission to study good course in the University, You will pray before being enrolled for National Service they cannot pay your service, you will not just pray to be employed but have to at some point kickback to get employed for an elephant work and an ant pay. That is when you will know Nigeria beyond Professor so so use to say or Daddy so so once said.

In countries like US, UK, Canada, et al they create an enabling environment of good Road channel, accessible and affordable water and electricity, world class and ultra modern health care facilities for not just the citizens but for businesses to thrive that was why Obama administration was able to add 15,000,000 new jobs to those in existence while in government.

In Saudi Arabia, the government foot the bill for you to get things done, you are studying, they pay you. You are a Graduate, they pay you to establish something. You want to marry, they sponsor it. You are a citizen, you get your share or free salary from return from oil revenue on timely basis.

In all these countries, Security of lives and Properties is very paramount to them, barely will you receive report of kidnapping among other Social vices that has successfully plagued our own society yet our government see nothing wrong in moving with heavy armored vehicles and Security operatives, they organize lavish party for political alignment and re-alignment, they prefer traveling to abroad for a meeting with 15 times football team at the detriment of the tax payers money, traveling abroad is better than asking an home based Dr that is contributing to the growth and development of the Nation treat us. Ask the government just why! Hundreds if other Youths blindfolded with religious, ethnic, political and every other unprogressive reasons will come and call for your head.

One year compulsory service for Graduate without which you cannot get employed or considered for any job opportunity, just consideration ooo imagine! After the one year compulsory rubbish, employers will be asking for 15 years experience from you when you are not two way wheel or double silencer, Donald Trump is America President with zero leadership experience in politics.

Government in his dubious tactics will only cajole us to engage in entreprenuership without capital, yet some fools or ignorant ones will come and say start small as if Dangote starting small was with 10,000/50,000 of today! How many of our business Billionaires in Nigeria that has legal and hard earned wealth started by selling commodities of penny?

Why should I blame the government since we are all by chance or opportunity the government, everyone in government is either there by chance, accident or opportunity which is synonymous to celebrating PHCN light immediately it comes perhaps for five minutes after two months of black out, imagine! Just five minutes suffering of two months is forgotten, we all forget what we've experienced in hard time when small affluence or opportunity comes.

The same leaders we had in 1970s to 1990s are those still leading us and dictating the tune of governance when world great countries like Canada and France are having men of 44 & 39 leading them. But the question remains! Where are the Youths of this great Nation whose potentials are bound to bring proactive measures and developments?

They are either still in school chasing Certificate at near 40! Those that are privileged to get into governance lack the required knowledge of what rigors comes with the position! Every Youths now are just hell bent on getting power forgetting to plan on getting it! Youths now only want to work for money legally or illegally! Everyone want to align with politicians just to get their share of the National treasure!

If I can Vote at 18! It is High time I can be voted for, at least councilor at 20! Local government Chairman at 23! State House of Assembly at 25! Federal House of Assembly at 28! Senate and Governorship at 30! President at 33! It is High time political appointment from Local government to Federal government be from age 20! Or what do we call a political party Youth leader of over 55 years or Minister of Youth of over 60 years!
There is need to have legislation in place for various offenses ranging from looting of public funds, kidnapping, robbery, cyber crime among others.

We need to make any political office a secondary occupation, nobody without primary source of livelihood should be in Governance either through election or by appointment.

There is need to create a law that will enforce family that has at least N10,000,000 net Worth to marry at least once from a family that has or feed on less than N50,000/annum. We need to be our brothers keepers.

There is urgent need to make employment in both Private and Public entities be extremely free and transparent for credible and worthy people to get employed in any place. Not advertising N-Power of N30,000 for the Masses and CBN NNPC and other juicy employment for the rich and wealthy. We need a free employment system and legislation.

People with various skills and talent that can promote the Gross Domestic Product, increase exportation, provide Universities of Agriculture graduates and others who want to farm needed machineries in various Local government at a very low rate, provide manufacturers with enabling law to ease means of conducting business. Government officials must buy locally made goods ranging from Vehicles, household consumables, Cloths, Building materials and local labour for our daily needs.

Nigeria will be better, we only need to create the needed law, be selfless and fear God then give us ten years for appraisal. Who is US, UK, Canada, SA, China, France et al? They can never plan like we do only that we lack implementation.

God bless Nigeria!
God bless us all!
