Remember that you cannot work in Estonia until you receive your TRP which takes 2-3 months. You also cannot open a bank account. I think too you do not qualify for the free transportation in Tallinn without TRP. And in Tartu, you cannot get the bus discount until you get your TRP unless you apply for Estonian personal code from the City government.

You are right bro but regarding the opening of account, it's possible for UT Students to open a bank account at Swedbank without TRP once you have letter from your department confirming your status.

Sobastical is right regarding Georgia e-visa. You can only apply for Georgia e-visa if you are holding some countries visa or residence card as specify on dr webpage. For others you have to visit Georgia Embassy in South Africa, Egypt or Ethopia to apply for dr visa. For more info:

Full load as far as Estonian education is concerned means 75 - 100% of nominal volume (usually 60ECTS per academic year) of your curriculum must be completed by the end of the academic year ( ie 45-60 ECTS per academic year).

For record purpose one can enter any Schengen state with long term schengen (D) visa issued from third country. Below is a mail from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia:

Firstly, How did you get that Georgian visa? Last time I check Nigeria has been banned with some other African country.

Nigeria was not banned but was removed from countries eligible for E-visa, so you need to visit there embassy in Egypt or Ethiopia for visa application. As for me have been residing there for a while on study purpose and am using residence card.

Where in my post did I advise him to use Swisscare Insurance? Read in between lines.

I have seen someone that submitted Aiico Insurance this year and his visa was granted, what of that? Saying this, you will still say I advised people to use what is not acceptable. This is what am trying to avoid.

Simply provide a link for the guy to seeing where it is stated that Swisscare is not acceptable so that he can take off his mind from it... simple!!!

I don't know when saying what you know simply means you are telling people to do it.

It is not really mean Swisscare ain't acceptable to process Visa and TRP, but one will later buy another Insurance on getting to Estonia. Swisscare is cheaper and easy to procure, that's the advantage.

I can see that you are going to Estonia via Turkey, can you kindly share how you got your Turkish Visa so that, others that having issues with Indian embassy can opt to Turkey route.

So you mean it's advisable to pay almost €195 for something you know it's not acceptable.

Estonian no longer accept swiss care insurance, you can contact ERGO KINDLUSTUS, www.ergo.ee.com; info@ergo.com.ee, +3726106500. They seems to be the cheapest among the approved insurance company.

Since yesterday wey I don dey contact people from estonia concerning insurance! Dey warned seriously concerning Swisscare! It is no longer accepted! They stopped accepting it early dis year.

Once I get more update on it, I will post it here!
