Anambra tops all in 2017 National Common Entrance Examination

The result for the 2017 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into federal unity schools has been released by the Federal government.



Two candidates from Anambra state had the highest score in the examination.

Emeka-Egbuna Chinecherem C. and Onubogu Chinazom Joyce both scored 189 out of 200.

A total of 80,421 candidates registered, but only 77, 512 candidates actually sat for the examination.

Husseini Adamu, acting permanent secretary, ministry of education, said Adamu Adamu, the minister, gave approval to NECO “to release the result to the public for access in all the state ministries of education nationwide as well as NECO zonal offices”.

Lagos state had the highest number of candidates (24,816) while Kebbi had 63, representing the lowest.

Queens College, Yaba Lagos was one of the colleges with highest subscription of 5,524, while the least subscribed college was FGGC, Monguno Borno State with only 21 candidates.
