Great development. Watch as nairaland would be filled with "igbo hate" topics very soon. Once great news from the East is reported here, anger flows |
agarawu23:oh my God...what is wrong with you. This is not pdp or apc anymore. This is about the wellbeing of nigerians in general. According to the report, buhari fought corruption..selected corruption if we're being honest. For 8 months, homeboy just fpught corruption. When dasuki mentioned his name, why didn't he turn himself in for questioning @ th efcc? |
ThePeacemaker:must you be this shallow. If you hear a white man did this, you'll be showering him with praises by now. Africans are architects of their own destructions |
Anambra is a bull |
Abakaliki is a very fine place. The city is getting a major facelift |
The Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has assured of prompt mobilization for the work being done on the thirty kilometer Amansea-Ndiukwuenu road with twenty eight culverts and three bridges to ensure appreciable construction before the rains come. He made the assurance while inspecting the road from Awa to Awgbu axis in which he expressed satisfaction on the quality of the ongoing construction. The road when completed will open up all the agricultural communities in Anambra South and Central Senatorial zones as well as link up over ten communities including Enugu state. Mr. Freddie De Klein, explained that two out of the three bridges on the thirty kilometer road are in advanced stage while construction is yet to begin on the third one. Responding to the challenges of funds raised by the project coordinator, the governor expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and assured of prompt mobilization in order for work to be expedited on time. The governor also inspected the Bailey bridge at Okpeze, which is the third bridge and no construction had commenced. The inspection tour came to an end but not without a visit to Igbariam where one of the many agro-companies that signed MOUs with the state government last year had commenced cultivation. Songhai-Delfarm farms at Igbariam has the mandate to develop one thousand hectares of land but presently two hundred hectares had been cleared with sorghum, banana and pawpaw blossoming rapidly. There are high hopes and assurances from the investor that in six months time, the entire one thousand hectares would have been cultivated and with a good road network as packaged by the state government, evacuation of products will not pose any challenge. http://www.channelstv.com/2016/02/01/obiano-inspects-thirty-kilometer-amanseandiukwuenu-road-in-anambra/

Success story from Ministry of Agriculture The Anambra State Ministry of Agriculture has successfully assisted some rural farmers export pumpkin leaves (Ugu) and bitter leaves (Onugbu) into United Kingdom on the 21st Jan 2016. This was done in partnership with some offtake and logistic companies. To achieve this, the Federal Quarantine Agency visited Anambra severally to inspect and certify various farms to ensure they are fit for the purpose. The first set of participating farmers have been trained to produce vegetables of high quality without applying fertilizers and other chemicals. The vegetables are therefore classified as 100% organic. This is only the beginning as plans are on top gear to increase vegetable production exponentially and make Anambra a top vegetable export state. http:///forum/agriculture/anambra-begins-vegetable-export-uk-0

They're "soft targets"...nobody cares. Meanwhile, have you blamed GEJ today? |
omonnakoda:you say it like it's a bad thing. The igbos are the only Africans tribe that practiced democracy before the Europeans came. With the "elders" as senators and "umu ada" as "house of rep" wch made the igwe/king not to have absolute power |
more onitsha
|
inlandtaipan:I highly doubt that |
op, you didnt mention the industries in my village ogidi. 1. chuckies industry; makers of cheese balls 2. kp distillers; makers of kp schnapps 3. osaks industris 4. rex industries; makers of rex tissue papers, rex water etc |
The apc is lawless and criminal. It's a shame |
op, you want to give some people heart attack? |
bad |
can he keep up? he's currently building a city in awka called greenwood, 3 shopping malls, massive road constructions etc...where is he getting the funds for that? this man is a gem abeg, others cant even pay salary...he increased his people's salaries |
Zoo estates, Enugu not on your list? Funny you Udoka housing, awka...? 1. Zoo estate, Enugu 2. Udoka housing, awka To mention a few
|
Funny...a Moment ago, the same apc goons criticised the US government after they called out buhari. Besides, the real question is: how does the "war on pdp" affect the average nigerian? A bag of rice that used to be 6k is now 12k...thats what the average citizen like me car about |
Great, now they can stop squandering our money on IDP camps. Although asking the media to Stop reporting terrorists attacks doesn't mean no more attacks |
inlandtaipan:pls show pictures cos I highly doubt that. If it the aba I know, then you lie friend |
StRichard:don't mind them, I thought the mumu said he'll "stabilise world oil prices"...and they voted for him, dumbos
|
Yes, God is punishing nigerians fo voting in this government. I just feel bad for those that never voted in the tyrant but get to suffer with them... Now they're stealing from their people #50 at a time |
Anambra again?...that state Is light years ahead of Nigeria |
Out of 36 states, one state is always on the news with good news...always. Even the governor doesn't talk much but his good works are speaking for him. |
Ilovemystate:the apc has been begging him to join apc. Their van filled with "apc elders" is mostly parked in front of government house, awka. I saw the news on nairaland that they a "barring" Obiano from apc and I just laughed. Am sure he refused them so they resulted to blackmail. Obiano is the best thing to happen in the east. All eastern governors are stepping up to their greatest..well, not all. Aroma farms have started their expansion as well |
IkpuMmadu:my point exactly. It's note worthy to see the progress so far |
Lawless country...guilty until proven innocent. Selective judgement has never don anyone any good |
Addressing the residents, Mr Hassan Karma commended their initiative in contributing to the development, saying it was worthy of emulation by all and sundry. He encouraged them to sustain the tempo of support for the Police and always report suspicious characters and movements in the community to ensure a safe and secured environment. The Police Commissioner recalled that Anambra State was formerly regarded as an unsafe place to live in or do business due to the alarming rate of violence but the cooperation of the Police, other security agencies, the state government and the people of the state has helped to reduce the trend of crime. He assured the people that the new Police station would assist the Divisional Police Headquarters while urging the Divisional Police Officer of Ajalli Division to take proper charge of the new police station. The Local Government Chairman, Okey Enekwe, called for a new Police division to be created in the LGA to serve over five communities, as well as help in combating border clashes with the neighbouring Enugu State. The President-General of the community, John Onwuka, also thanked the community for rallying to achieve the feat, stating that the communities must not return to the days when jungle justice was meted on the people by some elements in the traditional community police. http://www.channelstv.com/2016/01/18/anambra-community-gets-new-police-s... http:///forum/politics/community-donates-police-station-police-anambra |
MXrep:Onitsha has spilled over to nkpor and environs. The expansion of trans nkisi etc has made it understandable. New estates and developments has put onitsha on that path. |
This is not the kinda news some people want to hear... |
HalfTruth:posting old pictures of the east found of Google won't help you. East has gotten a massive boost in development that can only be compared to abuja nigeria |
inlandtaipan:pls show me where I mention "Aba" on my post @lalasticlala ...front page pls |
