Congrats on your issued visa, even if it says issued you have to wait to receive the notification from dhl for pick up which I’m sure you will get it real soon
If you don’t receive it this week you will by next week.
Thank you, but first thing Monday morning, I'll be at dhl office.

go to Dhl to confirm or use this link putting in ur passport number to check if ur passport is wit Dhl .. https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/ng-niv-passportretrieve.asp
Thank you, I've been trying the link option but I'll just go to dhl on monday.
As of 2023, people that we had interview same day got their package already without email or sms notification. I guess things aren't how we used to know.

Congrats!!!
If you don’t receive sms you will receive email keep checking your emails too

Good evening, the CEAC status says "issued" since the 23rd, but I'm yet to receive an SMS or email to confirm my pick up. Is it possible the package is there already?
Thanks.

Oo wow you were the 2nd guy! I was the 1st lady that was interviewed by the black guy. The interview was so smooth! We thank God.
Please how long does it take to get the passport back? And please is there a whatsapp group?

I was told 10 working days for passport collection; which means we should be getting notification via email by next Tue latest.
Check email, cgi dashboard and CEAC website regularly to see change in status.

Congratulations to you too sis.

Transcript! Transcript! Transcript!

I was approved today guys!!

After documentation, i was given number 7 and i sat down to wait for the interview. I was the second person to be interviewed by this black man who seemed like an indian He asked a lot of questions but they were all like a conversation so i didnt even know it was that much.. I swore the oath and did my fingerprints.

The interview goes as below;
Who filed for you
Whats her name
How did you meet
Who reached out first?
Have you ever been arrested
Have you ever applied for any visa
Have you ever lived outside of Nigeria
What does your fiancée do
What do you do
How much does she make
Has your fiancée ever been married
Have you ever been married
Do you or your fiancée have kids
How many times have you met
Can you give me the dates
What fun activities did you do on the second trip
What did you study in school
Do you plan to become a medical doctor?
How long has your fiancée been working

He typed for a little while..

Then he said okay, everything looks good, i would be approving your visa!! Go to windows 21 for instructions on how to pick your visa.
I won prostrate for the guy to say thank yoy but i no won stain my white
I bounce comot and now we are here, all thanks to God

I will keep this short cos I'm sooo excited right now!

Interview for my K1 visa was today at 6.30am, after much back and forth, I was given the instructions sheet on how to pick my visa, so I await an email and sms on when it's ready.
I want to thank everyone here especially the OP on this thread, God bless you all and we will all meet favour and good news after the long wait.

Question: how do I track the status of my passport (I believe on CEAC page)? I put in my Case number but I don't know where to find my Invoice ID Number from NVC. Please help.

Thank you.

Does anyone know the best times to check for interview dates?
Best times are mornings or afternoons and sometime nights. It will open either weekdays & weekends.
Just kidding out of my own frustration, but yea, it could be anytime, nobody knows so I'm just trying to keeping my cool too.

Hello there, I'm having issues to pay with my own GTBANK card. Did you do anything extra?

Thanks
nekkyblues:
Hello guys,

I created my WES profile and was unable to make payment through credit card and chose the other payment option "western union money transfer" and did not make payment but i received the WES reference number. When I logged in again next day and resumed my application and clicked on to make payment, it took me to credit card details screen for making payment and this time payment was successfully made through my GTB debit MasterCard.

It is obvious their time is coming to an end. Seeing him and Nnamdi Kalu sent shock waves down their spineless spines. The time is here where more people are enlightened and see the trickery of APC and PDP.

Ralfoosha:

Hi, have you gotten your passport?
Have you done capture & biometric?
Which of the passport office was it?
Co's currently they claim there are no booklets.

My story
I contacted a man I know at the alausa office; said ₦60,000 & 2 months to get a replacement for stolen/missing pali (passport) & that it's never earlier than that but because I needed it urgently, I enquired elsewhere and got a contact at ikoyi office; said ₦60,000 & 2 weeks. So I went for the ikoyi deal.
On the 24th January I did my affidavit at ikoyi & submitted 3 passport photos & ₦60,000 to my contact (though the official fee I saw at the gate was boldly written "₦20,000" but I didn't mind ₦60,000 for "express".
As the 2nd week started I was told to come for capture & biometric so I waited to collect my pali but they told me "oga they will call you"... I've been calling since February & they keep saying booklets have not arrived from Abuja. By the 24th of this month will make it 2 months; which was what my contact at Alausa told me before. So I guess I was lured into committing to the 2 weeks deal.

So I got a call this morning from my immigration contact in Ikoyi, I'll be leaving Abuja for Lagos tomorrow & pick my replaced misplaced passport on Wednesday.
So in this case, it took 1month 3 weeks.
Best regards.

Where are you? I can give you an immigration man's number to guide you through. Note that they treat lost passport separately from expired/renewal.
PM me your number

I only wonder why our system is so decayed. If you decide to go through official protocol, they deliberately push your application to the side & prioritise on the ones directly profitable to them. So if you pay 20k for replacement, you might as well wait for 6 months.
Also why do they have to run out of booklets before getting more? Mediocrity in Nigeria public sector & the level of impunity for under the desk personal business is increasingly alarming. Lots of them are old & quick fatigue plays a role in their poor & sluggish performances.

I TOTALLY disagree. There is no such Terms and Conditions from NTEL. The T&C page is right there on their website for everyone to read, there is no mention of such. ........

so, in response to the countless complaints on twitter. I have been downloading Prison Break S05E01 for 2 days now. Imagine.
The whole point of using NTEL is, No Cap, No Throttling, not thing else, customers know it and the company knows it

Abeg make una help me clap for this guy! There are no caps!....
So I restarted my device around 1am and it was blazing fast as expected. The file I needed to complete its download was 6gb, so I was thinking pe "all this ppl wey dey say CAP! CAP, that means the remaining 3gb will be till next day"... But it broke the bounds, I completed my download (6gb) in a very short while. grin grin

Make your customers happy Ntel, and they will sing your praise... in fact, you won't need commercials again grin grin

NB: I ain't switching off my device for any reason (I got a standby Powerbank for am now) cool cool
