good day, with reference to the bolded. My wife would be travelling next week for childbirth purposes as stated during interview. the thing is we are changing the location we intended using based on recent increment by the hospital(houston to chicago). we already booked ticket for the flight to chicago as she would be landing at JFK first.

My question is can she say she has changed her destination of choice and say she is chicago bound knowing we used houston for the application. Thanks

SUre she can just explain at POE if asked why the change and also she must fill the information on the i-90 form.

First I believe you know best why you are choosing Denver Colorado and from what you have said it it has some places to visit. If those things interest you sell it to the VO, You would like to climb the Mount Evans, a friend told you about it and you would love to experience it.

On the other hand If you are going there to see Family then just tell them than form going to see places when you yourself are not very convinced. The thing is these guys are Americans they know if you know what you are saying and they are also psychologists in a way.

So get your info right and speak confidently and you are good - BUT REMEMBER LIES DO NOT HELP, THEY UNDERMINE YOUR CHANCES.

That was it Glory to God Yesssss. The transcript looks long surprisingly but it felt real short. I thank God for the V.O he made it fun and relaxing. All na God ooo

Also put yourself together, try to be as composed as you can and let your story be your story. Try to relax and just be yourself and enjoy it.

Create an account on the appointment site here https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ as the primary account and when you start filling your form, you will see where you can add family members.

So after been bounced twice in naija.. i vex go UK nd Asia.. they still bounce me there ohh.. the only difference in Asia is that there is no crowd at the embassy.. they give you time to tell your whole story then deny you.. then they still give you time to ask why they deny you and they explain why to you..they also tell you sorry..

Fast forward to returning to Nigeria.. i have sworn never to step foot in a US embassy and for the most part i derived satisfaction from that tongue the stress is just too much..especially the after thought of the visa and appointment fee... undecidedbetter blown on zinger burger sad . after months of preparation and saving the hard earned money.. your dream is crushed in less that 2 min..life is not a bed of roses though

My mom and dad on the other hand no send say them deny you 100 times.. you should recover after 1 month,continue your job... stop all the bad bad thing wey you dey do and book a new appointment..

since you are going for a conference, under US contact, fill in the conference organizer details under organisation name and enter their address email and phone number. This should be on your conference letter.

The deed is done forget the agent and move on. As to re-applying the rule is to wait 90 days (3 months) before re-applying. anytime earlier than 90 days is auto-rejection.

As for your info that the agent messed up with. I believe going forward the truth can set you free. Let all your details be correct and true. And please do it yourself this but BUT REMEMBER NOT BEFORE 90 days

The form is not a rigid form It brings what you need to fill based on previous info.

For example my form add place for previous jobs and education but my wife only has her current employment and thats all.

I once had an overnight stop and had to get a transit Visa to stay in Kenya for a day.

I am sorry to say this.. This is a complete fraud and lie.. it's a whatsapp post and I suspect the person in question (If she's even real) is a travel risk not just because she passed thru qatar.. it's a connecting flight and she won't step out of the airport (Unless there's a qatar visa) and every CBP officer should be aware of this.

You are on point. Is she the only Nigerian that went to US via Qatar. Please lets read in between the lines before posting things. God help us all.

No ish, the form is gender specific that's why you have those differences. The hotel route is okay. Got kids?

Also, your salary is the average earning per month or all your salaries, emoluments, entitlements, bonuses, etc after tax put together in a year(annually) divided by 12 months. Then, you could be the sponsor on the form filled and let the VO know during interview that it's a cosponsored trip by both of you, or you both fill yourselves in as sponsors of yourselves (and preferably still tell the VO the trip is cosponsored).

Just another quick one, if per adventure they ask for bank statement wont it conflict (since u said all your salaries, emoluments, entitlements, bonuses, etc after tax put together) because what gets to bank is not going to be that much.
Also if it is (all your salaries, emoluments, entitlements, bonuses, etc after tax put together) then mine is way ore than ours so i might just stick to been the sponsor.

Hello House, I've been following this thread secretly and i really commend the brains behind this thread but pls is it true I can fill the DS-160 form just to generate the code to book an appointment without submitting the form but Save it in a folder on my laptop till when I wish to submit it? If true, Pls kindly explain to me how I can fill DS-160 form for myself, my child and my wife which still bears her maiden using just one DS-160 form?

i believe it is one DS-160 form per person (you cant use one for all), but you can book your interview together as a family

I am applying for US visiting visas for my wife and I for vacation. We are both working.
On her DS-160 form, i noticed she wasn't asked about previous job and education on her DS-160 form her only present work, is that normal?
Also, we plan to use hotel accommodation for like 7 days in Florida, is that okay?

Also with respect to salary, is it what goes to bank i will put in the form or everything (total earnings before tax and other deductions like savings).

I intend to be the sponsor as her husband though what goes to her bank is higher than mine but i have more in my account than hers. Is it better she says she is sponsoring herself than myself been the sponsor?

Either way how much do we need to have in our accounts, whether its me as sponsor or individually.
