alex101:

cheesy grin grin Yoreobos/ofemanus are good at looting, infact another name for the yoribos is public theft and looting.

To disintegrate nigeria, let the yoribos be the president, VP, ministers, LG chairmen, and all 36 state governors of the federation be only yoribos. Then watch nigeria crumble like a pack of cards!

You are right. How come we never thought of that yet? They will simply steal Nigeria to disintegration.

Sports Mar 13, 2011

Nigeria’s hope of a blissful outing at the London 2012 Olympic Games got a boost weekend when Taekwando hopeful Chika Chukwumerije promised to win gold medal for Nigeria.

In a text message from his base in the United Kingdom where he is pursuing a master’s degree, the 2008 Beijing bronze medalist disclosed that he has started preparations for the Games by hiring a foreign coach.

He revealed that he would arrive Nigeria on March 29 to source for funds and proceed to Taiwan and Korea afterward.

“I have to start preparations for the Games immediately,” Chika said. “I will arrive Nigeria on March 29 to procure Taiwan and Korea visas and then leave for Belgium where I will be fighting on April 10 in the Belgium Opens. I will leave for Taiwan after the fight to continue training and leave for Korea to feature in the World Championship between May 1 and 6.”

Chika said that he would remain in Taiwan for two months with his foreign coach to finalise preparations for the World Olympic qualifiers.

He said: “I narrowly missed the Olympic gold in 2008 but this time I have to go for the gold. I fought with pains in Beijing and pray to be injury free in London. That perhaps will be my last Olympic outing and I have to make a mark. If my plans work well, I don’t foresee any obstacle between me and the gold this time.

“I never contemplated dumping Nigeria because I have no other country. I will do my best to lift my country at the games because I believe that Nigeria can be the best African country at the 2012 Olympic Games if we start preparations now.”

Nigeria’s Chef de Mission for the London 2012, Chief Patrick Ekeji expressed satisfaction with Chika’s plans stressing that the National Sports Commission would assist him with funds to make his dream a reality.

Wonder banks swindle Offa people

To some residents of Offa in Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State these are not happy days as wonder banks disguised as investment companies swindled them of over a billion naira and disappear into the thin air. Daily Sun investigation showed that about five investment companies came to Offa between August and September last year to do business of international trade, FOREX selling of shares in oil and gas sector of the economy unknown to the investors that they were in for hard times.

Investigation revealed that as soon as the companies arrived the city they rented properties as office in choice areas, recruited agents, canvassers and adopted various arm twisting tactics to lure investors to buy slots, promising them 100 per cent profit after 35 working days of their investment.

Narrating his ordeal, a business centre operator in Olomowewe area of Offa, Mr. Ayinla Kolawole, said: “The companies came in September 2010 and they were distributing handbills that they were oil and gas investment companies which require large sum of money as such they need people to buy shares from them and at the end of 35 working days their profit will be 100 per cent of their investment.”
Kolawole lamented that he started with N10,000 and was paid N20,000 .

“This encouraged other people to start investing large sum of money in these companies. But by January and February ending when the date for payment came people started to increase their investment in thousands and millions which later culminated in cash crunch and this infuriated the investors who went in large number to attack the company’s office close to Idi Ogun Garage along Federal Polythenic Offa.”
Wearing a mournful look, Kolawole said he invested over N750,000 but appealed to the government to help them trace the people.

“We know we are at fault but we thought when they have Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration number; with e-mail addresses that made many people think they are genuine,” he said.
“As for me, I have taken it as an act of Allah but what of those who cannot bear it. Some of them are in hospital because of the shock while about three died on hearing that the people have disappeared. There was a woman who sold all her belongings including her brother’s landed property. Imagine how she will feel. She is dead.”

Some people in Offa alleged that the Olofa of Offa, His Royal Highness, Oba Mohammed Oloyede knew those companies. However, the Principal Private Secretary to the Olofa, Mr. Tajudeen Oloyede denied the statement, saying; “the palace was sad about the incident that it was after the scam that people informed the palace and if the palace had been informed earlier, the Kabiyesi would have warned the people. The Olofa did not know this people from Adam,” he said.

Oloyede declared that the Oba felt disgusted when he was informed that top security agents in the town were even involved.

Aigbofa:

Self preservation is the first law of nature. I guess only ibos will attempt to save Yorubas before they save themselves.

Thanks for confirming what is already commonplace knowledge that Yorubas are tribalistic, self-centered rats. That will be all for now.
Just to juggle your tribalistic brain: America is reeling with >9% unemployment, yet they are all over the place helping others.

Igbo and Northern foundations often look at Nigeria as a whole in disbursing their charity. Yoruba foundations only look at Yoruba. I have not read where a Yoruba NGO did anything for others. Selfish rats.
