Chanchit: Before, during ramadan period, I use to see muslims gather for lectures, I see banners with themes like "Jesus is not the son of God" " Who is Jesus Christ" I jst laugh and pass, I no knw how dt one take concern them, but me I knw my God is bigger than what we think, so He will fight for Him self. But I'dnt see banners like that in the last ramadan, maybe u guys are beginning to find better content.

These themes are just intellectual challenge invitation to a debate because they are seen as Foundation of Christianity faith with no prove from the Bible. Besides,they know too well that most Christians will laugh and pass just like you did because they are intellectually bankrupt.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has successfully launched its domestically-built Navid-e Elm-o Sanat satellite into orbit following a decree by Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.


The satellite, completely designed and built by Iranian experts, blasted into orbit early Friday on the third day of the 10-Day Dawn celebrations, marking the 33rd anniversary of the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution in 1979.

The 50-kilogram orbiter lifted off into space with an orbital angle of 55 degrees on the Iranian-made Safir satellite-carrier.

Head of Iran Space Agency (ISA) Hamid Fazeli said the domestically-built Navid satellite will circle the Earth at altitudes between 250 and 370 kilometers.

He added that the remote-sensing observation satellite is designed to take hi-res pictures of the globe.

The ISA chief noted that the satellite will also collect data on weather conditions, which comes in handy for weather forecasts and management of natural disasters.

Fazeli further said that the satellite is expected to orbit the planet once every 90 minutes and send images to ground stations.

Navid-e Elm-o Sanat is a telecom, measurement and scientific satellite whose records could be used in a wide range of fields.

Iran launched its first domestically-produced satellite, Omid (hope), into orbit in 2009.

The Omid data-processing satellite was designed to orbit the Earth 15 times every 24 hours and transmit data via two frequency bands and eight antennas to an Iranian space station.

Iran is one of the 24 founding members of the United Nations' Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, which was set up in 1959.

Israel's deputy prime minister has claimed Iran is developing a missile with a 10,000-kilometer range which is capable of reaching Britain or even the US East Coast.


According to The New York Times, Moshe Ya'alon added that the missile is clearly meant to target the United States, “although a missile that could be fired such a distance could also strike Britain.”

Addressing the annual Herzliya national security conference in Israel, Ya'alon also claimed that the site where an explosion happened on November 12, 2011 is where the long-range missile is being developed.

Following the Israeli claim on Thursday, the British Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg said he was worried that the US and Israel would 'take matters into their own hands' and launch a military strike against Iran.'

Asked if he was concerned that Israel would attack Iran, Clegg said, “Of course I worry that there will be a military conflict and that certain countries might take matters into their own hands.”

He added that Britain had been attempting to demonstrate that “there are very tough things we can do which are not military steps in order to place pressure on Iran.”

Foreign ministers of the European Union met in Brussels on January 23 to impose new sanctions on Iran aimed at banning oil imports from the country, a freeze on the Iranian Central Bank's asset within the EU and a ban on sale of grains, diamonds, gold and precious metals to Tehran.

Iranian authorities have warned that the imposition of sanctions against the country's energy sector will prompt Tehran to choke the oil flow through the strategic Strait of Hormuz through which a daily total of about 15 million barrels of oil passes.

The US, Israel and EU accuse Tehran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear program while Tehran refutes the allegations on the basis of its right as a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

The United States has sent some 12,000 soldiers to Libya, in the first phase of deployments to the oil-rich North African nation.


According to Asharq Alawsat, the troops landed in the eastern oil port city of Brega.

Although the deployment is said to be aimed at generating stability and security in the region, the troops are expected to take control of the country's key oil fields and strategic ports.

Brega, the site of an important oil refinery, serves as a major export hub for Libyan oil. The town is also one of the five oil terminals in the eastern half of the country.

Following the popular uprising of the Libyan people, NATO launched a major air campaign against the forces of the former regime on March 19, 2011 under a UN mandate to “protect the Libyan population.”

The Western military alliance, however, was heavily criticized for its failure to protect civilians and taking action beyond the terms of the UN mandate.

On October 20, Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi was killed in his hometown of Sirte, eight months into an uprising that put an end to his 42-year dictatorship.

Human rights groups have accused NATO of committing war crimes and human rights violations against Libyans.
