I read today that GEJ is ready for Buhari and elections. How does PDP and Presidency define readiness?

Team APC is blessed with an abundant pool of technocrats and strategists. After their primaries in which Buhari emerged as the Presidential candidate PDP sat waiting in the wings to capitalize in the event that Atiku would break camp and tear away with a faction of his loyalists. Instead Atiku congratulated and recommited his support to fall behind Buhari. In that dissapointment PDP flooded the internet with messages designed to publicly humiliate Amaechi and influence him to challenge the APC leadership. This tactic failed as Amaechi was moved into the inner circle of the APC Presidential team.

Since the Presidential candidate was from North, APC was expected after this to reward Amaechi or Okorocha as the VP candidate. So the zoning of the VP to SW took PDP by surprise and knocked them off balance.

Every projection they had on the board and calculated into their mission to fight the opposition was killed.

Then they started launching media campaigns against Fashola's style of ruling Lagos and his discriminative policies against non-indigenes in their conclusions that he would emerge the VP candidate. The emergence of Yemi Osinbajo is a curveball that finally flung PDP campaign machineries far off the field. They were unable to recover their stance as Feb 14th approached and their loss at the loss was inevitable. That reality was part factor for moving the date.

We are two weeks outside when the election was originally scheduled and the PDP that was not ready then is saying it is ready now. APC has not made such declaration, they know better than to underestimate the electorate...but PDP is, true to character, "clueless", from top to bottom, so such declaration should not come as surprise.

So follow me let us assess what PDP call readiness.

1. The President has gone around the different zones of the country and met with leaders of ethnic and religious groups and gave bribe in billions of naira to influence their conscience and get them to see that he is the better candidate to vote for.

In order to make himself ready to take Buhari and APC, the President has ended up creating divisions and chaos in communities. He will need to spend more billions now in additional bribe to pacify those disgruntled ones who are embittered and have vowed not to mobilize voters for him.

2. The participants of Ekitigate have owned up and confessed that what the President and PDP told the nation was a false and doctored tape is indeed true and authentic.

In order to make itself ready for APC and Buhari, PDP has distanced itself and told these Yoruba eediots they are on their own.

3. For four years, President and PDP sat "clueless" and told us we are not the only victims of terrorism and bokoharam is part of new age insurgency that other nations equally struggle with and therefore we should swallow our pain and deal with it.

In order to get itself ready for Buhari and APC, PDP suddenly realized that bokoharam is a threat to the security of the nation and so they recruited armies from foreign soil to invade our sovereingty and escalate the problem on both sides.

4. APC has dispatched its governors, candidates, party leaders to have face time with electorates and grassroots in villages, cities, town halls, to recruit on social media, to recruit in diaspora, to share the message, to have house parties and kitchen counter discussions, to have rallies and marches. We see Fashola in continued action and with Ambode in tow, we see Osinbajo in different hamlets, markets, town halls, malls, villages, Oba's domain and palace, we see Okorocha with market women, with councillors, the man is in media, on radio promoting the civility and voice of change for Nigeria and the SE zone, we hear Tambuwal, Kwankwaso, Ahmed, Oshiomole, ......APC is felt on the ground, on internet, on the air, in London, in America, in Ghana, in Benin. They have penetrated everywhere that need penetration with message of their mission and vision. We see them in pictures with their families and friends, embracing the NIGERIAN TEAM spirit.

...yet, with all their astute accomplishments and numerous coverage on ground, APC is not rushing to say it is ready for PDP, even though it is evident they were...and still are!

Why is FFK "the canary", who supposedly is the campaign director, not in the field in SW running the campaign circuit? Why is Obanikoro obsessed with ministerial post he will not get, and not in the field campaigning for Agbaje to succeed? Some people thugged their way to put Fayose in government house, what is he doing to give victory to his benefactors? He should be lobbying Senate on Koro's behalf...he should go there and dobale for the senators instead of hoping Buhari dies and he escapes going to prison.

Obanikoro is the greatest looser, they cheated him out of Lagos governorship, they are not bending the rules on his behalf to secure ministerial position promised him....in fact, they just told him the party is not part of his crime and he is on his own!

Is there any reason why Sambo is not winning Kaduna for Jonathan? Is he even on ground at all like Osinbajo is on ground?


5. They posted MBU to Lagos to issue threats and intimidate. They call it readiness.

They paid Afenifere for Yoruba endorsement, they call it readiness.

Mbu said he will kill twenty Yoruba children for every policeman killed in riots. Afenifere did not protest!

Mbu said he will arrest any Governor in Lagos and Ogun that trespassed and go where he ordered them not to step. Afenifere said nothing.

...Afenifere says Jonathan will deliver on results of National Conference but Buhari will not.

So we looked in the PDP manifesto, and we looked in the APC manifesto. Guess what we found??

Afenifere is blind!

Return to regionalism and true Federalism is on the agenda and party manifesto of APC. It is not Buhari's decision to deliver or withold, it is already signed, sealed and waiting delivery.....
