Mrexcell:This one is actually a pat in the back. He'll spend oy 5 years for 2.4B theft. Only 5 years Oops... Its says "consecutively". Meaning one after the other... Good one. 490 years kpere. If he's reincarnated, he'll continue his sentence. |
490 years is a good one. Consecutively means he'll serve 10 years after the first 10 years... 49 times! |
I'd like to read how this issue ends. Make I know whether I go remove my own tenants roof or demolish the house all together |
ZACHIE:I no gree. Thickens was used in the topic, and all first letters were capitalized. So, it's Thickens and not thickens Anyways, the error is in the way the thickens was spelt in the topic |
tunjijones:Yes... As side chic😁😁😁 Even Obi too. Make everybody gettat |
Nigerians are really ma*d. Which one be Fallarin again?? |
ZACHIE:Thickens ![]() "correct" He who comes to equity must come with clean hands |
You mean Obi want to pursue Atiku out of ADC? Wonders shall never end. If Obi clinches the ADC ticket, and Atiku leaves (again) for PDP, not even all the gods of our lands put together, with other borrowed foreign gods, and even man-made gods can stop Tinubu from winning again (without rigging). |
PlasmaTV:Aswearugad, Baba visits us every now and then; then go back to his hiding place. Our wahala too much for his mental health |
PlasmaTV:Excuse me sir! Who are you calling "Visiting President"? You don't have respect or what? A whole T-Baba is a VISITING PRESIDENT? Chai... Naija is no longer his home ![]() |
Amorim did this guy dirty sha... But he has a chance of cutting it this month... If he said "Win 10 matches in a row", we'll know he doesn't want to cut his hair. Winning 5 matches in a row is supposed to be a normal thing for the Top 4 or Top 6 teams |
Very sweet feeling. You no go know when you donate 5 years salary give the school |
Omo... Is this the same Man U that Amorim said was not good enough? |
Hungrychicken:Na you wan rent house inside town. Go to outskirts, the agents are not that bold. You'll see a bigger house, spacious compound, better amenities, etc for a fraction of what you'll see same in the town |
MartinCorridon:I wish it touched a nerve in me. I'm a tenant, both home and office. I have a property which I left in the hands of my friend who is a lawyer. No boss, I don't even want to be as rich as Dangote. I'll spoil market for competitors. About this agent matter, I have friends who are property agents. They can make only 1 or 2 sales in a whole year. Abeg... If them no see food chop, na me (family and friends) go suffer am. Allow them earn their money since they ain't committing any crimes |
Mitsurugi:He might be an agent, but I'm not. I might be privileged (I have my business, and I also have a job), but it doesn't stop my objectivity in this matter. This is because I imagined the agents to be in my shoes, and I in theirs. Plus, personally, if your agent fee exceeds 10%, I'm not interested in the property you want to sell or lease. Another agent can match my offer; I'll go for them instead |
molas02:Don't mind them. You want to pay agent 100k for a 5m house which he'll collect just once in all your 10 years of staying in the house; yet, he'll go to the same market with you and the landlord (who will collect another 5m in 12 month time), he'll use the same hospital, buy fuel in same fuel station, pay same school fees, plus he might be paying his own rent too ooo |
success1smyn:During data collection, there's a particular error or bias that might affect your analysis or conclusions. This, in this case, is the confounding bias I'm trying to question. "Reported cases of violence" Questions: Where were they reported? How were the data collected? Did they check all sources? (Let's say they collected from police stations... How many stations per state? All over the state or only state capitals? When were the data collected? Did they collect south east in January 2026, and collected southwest in May 2023?). Too many questions on the methodology. South east don't do much kings and obas. So... What if some of the violence cases were reported to the oba and emir instead of the police? What if people reported to NSCDC, Imams and Pastors? I mean, what if there were no avenues to even go to report to the police (eg., police stations were under attack?) There is a reason why statistics are not quoted by the Nigerian Government unless it's coming form the Nigeria Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Lets read wide and beyond our fields as Nigerians. Let's make discussions deep and worth our while |
Mitsurugi:It's not nonsense. He's very correct |
If an agent's fee doesn't suit you or your money, find someone else. Stop eying people's income; you're not Government!!! If 10 potential tenants bypass you and patronise your neighbor that charges less, you'll learn to reduce your fee or starve. If the tenants too don't mind the fee, then we as a tatafo people have no business disturbing their earnings. Shikenan! |
Allow market forces to decide agent fee. Alternatively, use your leg (or fuel) take go and locate all the vacant houses in the area you're looking to rent from. That fee is for all their life's problems combined. It's for your own convenience too, and Government's tax |
If e reach your turn as an agent, collect 2k agent fee. I'm not an agent, but I don't like it when people want to put a cap on people's income. He might successfully rent out only 1 house in a month or 2. Is it the 20k you want to pay him that he'll survive on? If his fees are too much for you, find another agent. In addition to my job, I help people purchase goods. Tell me what you want (say Rice). I'll use my money to buy at 60k, then I'll give it to you at 70k, maybe 80k. If you think my fee is high, try someone else. My extra fee is for my brand, reliability, dedication, loyalty, etc. |
lebete3000:Don't mind me. But ask me your questions, I'll do my best to answer you |
Too many useless statistics. Wrong methodologies filled measurement error, sampling bias, cherry-picking of data, tiny sample size, confusing correlations with causation, etc. Then again, even worse analysis or should I call it outright manipulation? Jeez!!! I just remembered confounding bias. Election violence reported... Could it be in areas where INEC had stolen the will of the people? |
It's called "Awuren zumunta". Learnt this during my NYSC; Patience told me about it. It's very normal |
plantist:Can you please show me one place where I abused a whole tribe? No... 1 place where I abused anyone tribally. Just 1 place, and I'll apologize wholeheartedly, delete the post, and send 20k to any account number that you'll provide. Doesn't matter if the tribe is Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba. By the way, I'm not from Anambra; but I'm Igbo, live in the North, and one of my bosses (the most senior) is Yoruba. In all good conscience, I know why I cannot insult any tribes in Nigeria. I have travelled round, and I have lived in and have friends in most of the Nigerian states. Why should I insult their tribes with my clear mind? However chief, if you can't find a single place where I have tribally insulted anyone, please apologize to me. Thank you sir |
Basic123:Just shut up. What's up with this dick measurement? Kai... Shame on you |
Such a dedicated lady... My sister, na man you be |
Bhella5:Pray to grow to become the type of "trader" Peter Obi is. Saying he's a trader is him just being humble. It's just like Dangote telling you he's a business man without explaining further. Your mind go first think say na "buying and selling" or agent work, until you look closely and ask questions. Obi is a business mogul, well educated; much more than I could ever dream of. Have you seen his CV? He sat at the very top of Fidelity Bank... This position is not a joke man... Bro, politics aside, make we give respect to person wey deserve am |
AkumTemi:The travel ticket is actually €49. Asin... He even call high amount. God abeg🙏🙏🙏 |
[quote author=BlackViper post=138113953]Dr. Baridueh Badon writes: I pay 42% tax every month in Germany but if: 1. I loose my job, the govt pays me 60% of my salary and help to find a new one 2. I have access to 3 years leave if I have a baby with a percentage of my salary and my job will wait for me until I resume. 3. Education is free in govt schools from primary to PhD 4. For every child I have, they get paid €250 monthly until they turn 18 5. I can buy a monthly ticket of €56 monthly and can travel all around the country via train (not high speed) and buses. 6. At any emergency, once you call the ambulance, it arrives within 20 minutes 7. Deffribilators and SOS access are available at every train station and high ways. 8. If I get stock in a country, I call the govt and they come to my support. Let me stop here. You that will pay about 30% tax in Nigeria that was copied 90% from the UK tax law, what will you get?
