My rent was due on 1st January. I pay my rent yearly. I called the landlord to send me the account I should pay the money into; no response until 7th, when his wife told me that her husband wants to use the apartment; that his nephew is coming back to the country, and he wants him to stay there.

I have never owed my rent. few weeks later (12th February), the man has threatened to disconnect my water and electricity. This is hell for someone that lives in high brow area (no where to buy water from mai ruwa), and works remotely! I have been looking for a place to move to, but nothing catches my fancy. The one that I would have liked is too small, as I have quite some properties.

I don't want to make a case with him, but I need time to sort my shiit out. What can I do? He's not interested in my appeal for more time.

There is no upside to these tariffs. It will only lead the US into economic dire straits. Trump is and idiot.
