But guess what? Most times, these complications don't arise. Before surgery, patients are made to sign a written informed consent, they are also counseled on possible complications. Most times, these complications do not arise.

The so-called hazards of blood transfusion are not common outcomes. In my practice, in fact, I've transfused MULTIPLE patients. Not up to 5% come down with any form of complication. The ones that did react, a simple intervention with normal saline, hydrocort, promethazine and paracetamol is enough to control such a reaction.

Blood transfusion is safe, very safe. Has it its own complications? Yeah, but they hardly occur.

The parents should be made aware that if they fail to grant the child her right to life by refusing her blood transfusion, and she dies, they'll be imprisoned for 25 years each; with hard labour!

This law should be made to help preserve life, especially in cases where it is preservable.

APC will hit 220, at least, before the next election... But most of those who defected to APC will lose their seats; they are not returning! Especially those that defected from LP to APC.

I have a friend; originally from Kebbi state (I don't even know if that was their original state of Origin). Her dad moved to Nasarawa; a local government in Nasarawa state (like 30-35 years now; not so sure) where she was born. She takes Nasarawa as her state of Origin, while her elder brother takes Bauchi as his own state of Origin (where he was born).

They mostly see Nigeria as a conquered territory; hence the reason we should stop that mindset for them

I don't know about you, but some of my best clients and friends are Yorubas. We banter and laugh, no enmity. Friendly jibes. And when Igbos call Lagos mans land, do you seriously take them serious?
