It comes down to who you can relate to best if you migrate to another country. If you go to a new place you don know much people but you know that there are Nigerians somewhere, you might naturally gravitate towards that area. Plus you will find out the places to buy and eat Nigerian foods from them. It is out of convenience not out of love for each other.
Define the term unity and progress

Yeah, there are some crooked Nigerians but every country has its own fair share of criminals.
Our population makes us less crooked. Imagine a country of 180 million people (that is about quarter the population of Africa is correct Census is done) and have little or no criminal outside the shores of this country. Isnt that amazing?

Op you are right am in Ghana at the moment with my family.

We see ourselves as Nigerians first before igbo, Yoruba or Hausa

I think politicians have devide us so much in Nigeria

But the irony of it is in the midst of politicians they see themselves as Nigerians first.
Same expreience everywhere I go. Immediately at the mention of Naija, you are hailed and embraced with no hate. Even if you meet the bad ones, you are neither their target since they know you are one of theirs. The feeling of being a Nigerian is "Great outside Nigeria"

PoliticsWhy Nigerians Are More United Outside Nigeria Than In Nigeria by ransomeware(op):
I have traveled to almost 15 Countries and discovered that Nigerian are more united outside our shores than in Nigeria.

My experience:

The first time I arrived at JFK Airport, I met few Nigerians who became friends with me there and also, they helped me with choosing a good place to hang out and feel more at home. (That was when I visited my Uncle during the summer holiday in 2014).

I met few Nigerians in Ghana and they associate together and always protect their interest first. I was saved from being arrested one Night afrer a Nigerian guy told the police that I was his brother. He was well connected in Ghana. (That Night, I thought I saw an Angel because I would have been having my a** up in the cell)

I got a part time Job in UK in 2015 by the help of a Nigerian I met on the Bus. We just exchanged pleasantries and introduced my self as a Nigerian.

The story goes on and on, Even Benin Republic and South Africa I have met good Nigerians.

The reason why I travel a lot is because I have a lot of family members who do summer outside Nigeria like crazy.

I am planning to hit Austria this summer. So I expect to meet good Nigerians.

I believe if we want to move this country forward and enjoy equal right. we should Delet the 1999 constitution and copy and paste true democratic constitution of a real democratic Country.

See sample of America 10 amendment after full consultation with states.

shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public
trial, by an impartial jury of the State and

When one is in high spirit at least he should have made a public address or even snap pictures with his visitors but no everything is in secrecy.

About him being good and not doing anything wrong is left fot God to say. It seems you know enough, tell me more about his sickness.

I didn't mention Sowore, u did. Tell me his crimes pls. Are u a detective ?

Would have been better to even tell us that Buhari is getting better than telling us he is in a high spirit.

One in a high spirit can't even talk to his citizens. He waited this long enough just to come out and tell us that Buhari is in high spirit.
Brother, if you are in Osibanjo Shoe, related to the president, have an appointment given to you by the president, a beneficiary of the Npower programme, at least enjoy the manageable ongoing peace in Nigeria or even have a bread and tea every morning alive. I think you should use your head and pray for our ailing president. He did noting wrong. Man cannot be in control of his body even you as far as you have blood running inside you. Sowore the Sahara reporter also has a problem that will be exposed soon. Its just a matter of time. Save your typing and use your brain to better your family and stop wishing our good president dead. Biko!!!

I doubt if you understand why big militaries buy or build Aircraft carriers.
How many countries in Africa own Aircraft carriers?
Is Nigeria's foreign policy tailored towards global force projection?
If the answer to the later is "NO", then Nigeria doesn't need it.
Then having an aircraft carrier is not useful to me since...................................... It is only meant for secret sea missions. I guess

It means you are not a realistic person.

You think an aircraft carrier is a canoe any country can acquire and operate?

Do you know how much it takes to acquire and maintain one?

How many countries have them? Even almighty China has just one superranuated carrier.

Lastly what do we need one for?

Smh.

People just create dumb threads because they have the freedom to create threads.
Do you mean we can't own an Aircraft Carrier?

Dear Nairalander,

Please I have searched the internet for A Nigerian Aircraft Carrier like the Ussr George Bush and only saw "Edo, Ogun and Akwa-ibom" without reference to an Aircraft Carrier. I want to know if we do especially from our Gallant Navy Friends in Nairaland.

EducationRe: How Possible Is It To Run A Bachelor Degree And HND At The Same Time? by ransomeware: 1:23pm On Jul 05, 2017
mozele:
Good day guys. I'd like to hear what you have to say about this issue.

I and some of my friends already acquired a National Diploma (ND) from a reputable polytechnic in the northern part of Nigeria.
In a bid to further our education, we are thinking of persuing a Bsc. and HND respectively at the same time. For instance, i'm thinking of Bsc. in Economics or any other relevant social science courses and an HND in Business Administration.

The B.sc will be on a full time basis while the HND will be on part-time(i.e weekends). Our thoughts however is that whichever university we gain admission into through Direct-Entry, we'll also apply for a polytechnic in the same state.

I don't know if it has ever be done before. For those in the academia, we would like to hear your opinion if it is advisable to carryon or have a rethink.

Your thoughts are welcome.
Thank you.
I am currently running mine in a private university.

Need some help?
