But I realize that there MAY be a logical explanation as to why the Shinobis of the day are so ordinary and lackluster in comparison with Ninjas of the past, especially from the days of the first. Because life was so freaking hard and dangerous those days, survivors had to be really hardcore and powerful. I bet a ninja like Kakashi would be so common compared jounins of that era. Since they were in a period of constant war and to-the-death fights, I believe it can be argued that Ninjas from that time honed their skills better and had a stricter and much less complicated motive to get better; staying alive. These 'modern' peace groomed shinobis are weak and indecisive because they have become too sheltered by their structured and orderly world. The price of peace is weakness, that's why today's badasses like Orochimaru, Itachi, Jiraiya and even the 4th Raikage would be food for chop if they faced the 2nd hokage one-on-one

Ihedinobi: A ah naw, you guys, haba! How many times does it need to be said that Madara was a special edo tensei. Kabutomaru said it himself. He did something to bring Madara back in his prime, with the rinnegan and with Hashi's dna in his body. That's why Edo Madara is how he is.

About Nagato also having his rinnes in ET, what about Itachi? After Itachi died, his eyes were transplanted into Sasuke's giving him the eternal mangekyou. Why did he return with his eyes in ET? Because he died with them, the same as Nagato. Nagato died having the rinnes and he returned having them. Simple.

But my take is that until we have incontrovertible proof we cant really say madmara gave nagato his eyes
But i guess all will be explained in due time as there are still a lot of cheese holes in the rinnegan


What i dont get is how madmara and tobi both have rinnegans now
If madaras eyes were taken from nagato, which eyes are madmara using now


Although now it seems there are two uzumakis as they have intermarried into other clans

tayoccu: The OP of that thread should quit whatever it is he's been smoking, the SOSP had the rinnengan b4 he captured the juubi. Remember when we were first introduced to the "legend of the SOSP"? We were told he used his rinnengan to seal the body of the juubi in the moon (the body we're currently seeing isn't its original body), we saw pain try to capture naruto with the same technique.
If the OP had said genjutsu, it would have made more sense, cos his theory kinda implies that the SOSP used genjutsu and taijutsu to defeat the juubi, totally ludacris.
By the way he also forgot to mention minto when he was counting Uzumakis.

Why do i get the feeling Hashirama had the chance to kill Madara but took pity on him or maybe healed him(an act that will forever scar Madara whose hatred for the Senju clan knows no bounds).

If Tsunade can use genjutsu then it's pretty obvious Hashirama can and might have used genjutsu in his fight with Madara.

viruz007: paraphrasing Itachi no technique is flawless. rinnegan has its own flaws. if nagato does not have others having his eyes watching around he can be attacked from his blind spot. so leave talk. the chibaku tensei technique was massive and not taking anything from pain but the 3 needed that attack to beat that technique. if na fighting itachi wld have handled my man alone unto susanoo tinz.
