I am thinking of selling mine, that has paid me twice; $113 and just this month, $110. I have it running majorly on rapportnaija.com and a few other blogs... I do not mind selling with the major blog too... But you need to give a starting quote... How much you willing to pay? |
Is he in prison yet? |
Hmmm |
royalads:Alright bro, drop the niche, maybe we can all venture oooh, I beg, Lol. This internet money, we must chop am tire oh, as I no fit do Yahoo Yahoo oh.. Lol... Maybe you should send me a PM with the info, and see where we can partner.. I enjoy like minds. Thanks |
questechie:True, but we got hit the hardest. To be frank, the sites that got up - many of them are not even authoritative specific niche sites, they just gained while we lost. Na only Google saabi their bulls crap new update, shii fvcked me up, walahi I feel like leaving the internet. Three years of ranking built, and it got thrown away in a day. Tueh I am pained... lol |
Nuclearact:The algorithm targeted unsafe and low-trust sites (especially Health/Wellness/Fitness)... These sites are called Your Money Or Your Life sites that do sponsored posts, affiliates, drugs suggestions etc... What it mostly targeted is the quality and authoritativeness of the Authors on these sites. Authors who are experts and well known for these niches are now favored, than using content writers or copy-and-paste... The most painful thing is that it will be a great uphill to recover... SEO Masters suggests that we wait till the update fully rolls out, as this is a major game changer, then we try to work really hard and hope for the best... Recovery suggestions includes having Article Authors with very good profile and experience, having a standard About Me/Us page, removal of Sales Pitch/Prescription to unsafe or outbound links to scam sites in Sponsored posts, avoidance of Copy-And-Paste, more internal and external link building... I got hit real bad, meanwhile I planned to work really hard this second half of the year to quadruple my views. I am now so weak! I can't lie that I didn't fall short of these E-A-T Google policies... Y'all need to Google Marie Haynes and follow her SEO blog. Goo0d luck guys! We shall rise again. |
Hello Bloggers, If you own specific niche sites - especially those in the Health/Fitness/Diet niches, did you observe a drop or rise in your Google rankings recently? Google rolled out a major update on August 1, and this algorithm is expected to be fully out by tomorrow. Many site owners have seen major drops in their rankings, and others were blessed with higher rankings. Google targeted YMYL (Your-money-or-your-life) sites, especially those in the niches I mentioned previously. The sad news is that, unlike other updates that Google usually do not release statements, they did release a statement on Twitter via a Google employee, and he confirmed that there's nothing you can do to really recover from this bad ranking. If you have specific niche sites with poorly written or no About Me/Us page, affiliate links and sponsored posts, and no authoritative article authors, then you may be in the bad books of Google right now. One of my major pages that brings about 50% of my traffic was thrown out to the sixth page. Who else was affected by the new Google algorithm? What are your observations? CC Lalasticlala Seun Please push to the promise land, I need views. Thanks. |

You people should not arrest Linda Ikeji o, she's pregnant Hmm.. see bad mood can affect the productivity of your brain |
Rebornhombre:See how you masked your ignorance with an ''LOL" BVN flagging on Loan defaulters? You meant bad credit report? Yes, bad credit report will not allow loan defaulters access loan anywhere in the country, but I put it to you that in the case of a fraudulent transaction, your BVN will be marked - and possibly with a MEMO to have you apprehended. Why do you think CBN has mandated KYC for all banks to have? Tueh... |
emmyid:Kind of. She works in the media, and I think she has a child for Ice Prince or so. So, she a celeb, coupled with being a sister in-law the Bangalee, she qualifies to be one. |
Rooneyboy:Well, you can prove all of this, and will get your BVN unflagged... But you saabi Naija wahala nah |
paulGrundy:If your BVN is flagged, then all bank accounts on it would likely be affected. This is one major use of the BVN, to check fraudulent cases like this, no matter the number of Accounts. |
SirBunky85:YES. Online & USSD transactions, and ATM withdrawal have different limits, and you can even set it yourself with the bank. Your online can be 1 million, USSD 200k, while ATM 150k. |
odimbannamdi:Well, the sad truth is that if you're the shop owner, Naija Police will still make you pay for it. So, instead of having a customer you don't trust transfer money to you, go to banks and get a POS. If you're a small trader, POS wouldn't be ideal, so go for another payment collection method called mCash! Most banks now offer these for small and medium scale bizs. You open an account with the bank, probably for only biz, and then they set your account up for the payment collection platform. This mCash works like this; 1. The transaction cannot exceed 50k 2. You make the transaction via USSD on the customer's phone. 3. There are special codes for different banks, but the general one is *405#, and before the transaction is confirmed, the Customer would asked to input a security question like Date Of Birth 4. You get credited immediately, Customer gets debited See cash biz centres like Paga now employ this platform - as a replacement for POS. Whichever way, a fraudster may still be ABLE to bypass all these and get money spent on mCash platform. But, at least you can confirm to the Police that you sold goods, and in no way can confirm if the customer owns the bank account or not. May God keep us away from harm's way. |
All these damned fraudsters. SARS will not track down these set of criminals, it's innocent good looking boys they will be chasing. |
Hi Nairalanders, I work as a Support Staff for a commercial bank, and I have witnessed this New Crime case twice this week alone!!! This fraud usually occurs at the ATM galleries. An 18-year-old customer and another 'rich' adult customer were victims and now they have their BVN flagged for live and have cases to answer with the Police, and with their bank accounts on Post-No-Debit. This is how it works; 1. You walk to an ATM and someone (fraudster) approaches you. The person may show you wads of cash and claim they have exceeded their withdrawal limit of 150k, and that they still need more cash. They then plead to make a money transfer into your own bank account so that you can withdraw it for them. 2. The TROUBLING thing in this seemingly harmless random act of kindness is that transfers are usually made from STOLEN PHONES or HACKED BANK ACCOUNTS!!! 3. The person who owns the bank account which the money transfer was initiated from would report to his bank, and the bank would send out a circular to the recipient's bank with instructions to be carried out - which usually includes freezing your own account, BVN flagging, and on most times an order for your apprehension. 4. The next thing you would discover is that the next time you try to use your ATM card to withdraw, your transactions will be unsuccessful. 5. You then go to your bank and you get the news. You will thank your stars if there's no MEMO to apprehend you and hand you over to the Police immediately - for something you surely don't know about. You may be advised to quickly go get a Police Report. The 18-year-old boy was sent to withdraw money from his bank account by his Mom. On getting to the ATM, he was held at gun point by the fraudsters and the money transfer was made, money withdrawn, and he was released. The money here was 40k. The boy was advised to report himself to the Police, and he should follow up with the bank. The adult customer was approached respectfully by a fraudster brandishing loads of cash. So, he felt at ease and 'helped', not knowing he had been exposed for flagging. Here, the amount of money involved was 50k. The customer who has about 1 million naira in his bank account has now been undone because of 50k he knows nothing about. Now, there's a MEMO to have the customer arrested anytime he steps into any of the bank branches. Who knows if the stolen phones were acquired via One Chance armed robbers or the bank transfer details were supplied by Serial Hackers? This is a serious criminal issue. Remember, if you have your BVN flagged, then you are so done with any legal financial dealings. DO NOT HELP ANYBODY AT THE ATM!!! NOT EVEN AN OLD FRIEND, CHURCH MEMBER OR WHATSOEVER. SAY NO TO STRANGERS WHO APPROACH YOU FOR ANY TRANSFER FOR WITHDRAWAL AT THE ATM. Imagine getting locked up over money you know nothing about other than helping someone to withdraw.
